He took the time to thoroughly inspect our home, located and removed five dead mice, rebaited the traps, and inspected the exterior, where he found two holes that appear to be possible entry points. We hired Guardian to treat our brand-new apartment for ants. Unfortunately, the technician used equipment that had not been properly cleaned, causing the spray to leave drip lines and stains all over our freshly painted walls, the floor, doors and cabinetry. To their credit, they returned and attempted to clean the damage, but they were unable to remove the stains. They acknowledged that the damage was their responsibility and agreed to pay for the apartment to be repainted. Months later, despite repeated follow-up, we have still not been compensated. It's incredibly disappointing that a company would admit fault, promise to make things right, and then fail to follow through. Accidents happen, and I understand that. What matters is how a company responds. Unfortunately, Guardian's customer service after the damage occurred has been far more frustrating than the original mistake. I cannot recommend a company that does not stand behind its commitments. read more

I have the quarterly plan. It's well worth the $130 my Neighboorhood is full of mice which is so annoying, and guardians always keeps my bait stations full and they even check all my traps. A few times I've smelled a mouse and I find their traps are easy to locate, vs the previous company I used which was like a game of his and seek and. I couldn't ever locate the traps. We have had Mike come the last few times and he's a really kind sweet guy who goes over everything in detail and honestly I think he goes above and beyond. The service also includes spraying for ants and stink bugs and I have significantly seen less of them inside since we started with them. Honestly I'm very happy, they're easy to get in touch with and reschedule and they let you know when they're on the way. Highly recommend. read more

I called this company years ago and was charged 500.00 dollars for a guy to come put some traps up. It was so overpriced to this day my husband will not let me use a pest service. He couldn't find entry points where rodents were getting in but saw gaps around piping and told me I should seal it. It was just unbelievable I should have called the head of this company to report this. That's crazy my friend hired a pest service for what I paid and they sealed all holes inside and outside her house. I just felt like I was robbed. read more

I used Guardian back in November 2025. The first time they showed up, they were actually early and thorough with their process.. They scheduled another appointment about a week or two after. The technician was supposed to show up anywhere from 9 to 11 AM but did not show until after 12:30 PM. I used PTO time that equates to over $150 at my work that is now lost due to Guardians error. All I received was a "sorry" from their call center. If Im running a company and there was an error on behalf of the company. I would do better than just a sorry. If the shoe was on the other foot, then I would've been out money. I take it professionalism is a thing of the past. read more

I ordered service from these clowns. The day of the appointment, the tech never showed . He sent a text to management an hour after he was supposed to be here stating he was sick and could not show. Guardian had no back up person to come in his steed. The second time was a reschedule for a week later. Again no one showed and to boot no notification was given from them. On the bottom of their contract paper depicting prep instructions there is a clause, " If you do not cancel at least 24 hours ahead of the appt, you will be charged a non-refundable 50.00". But what does the client get for no shows? Now almost a month after the initial request for service, I found a notice upon my door that they will be coming to treat my apt. But I had enough of the no shows and it is a lot of work to empty out all closets, cabinets, drawers, etc, to risk another no show. If I had my way, they would be shut down or at least sanctioned for the no shows. read more

They truly care and show attention to detail. They took extra time to explain what needed to be done and provided pre and post walk throughs. The remediation involved drilling and pumping solution around the perimeter of the property and direct spraying of highly active areas. I don't usually write reviews, but Guardian Pest Control has this one coming!! I called several places to get an estimate to eliminate our sudden mouse problem. From the very start, with Angela the phone elf the service from Guardian was prompt and highly professional, the "other guys"... not so much. I was given a quote immediately and had an appointment booked for later in the afternoon of the same day. Tyler and his trainee Tanner arrived 37 minutes into their 4 hour window, so VERY prompt. They were clean, polite, professional and quick. They surveyed the house, told me what they were going to do and did it, answering my questions (lots of them) every step of the way. I was so impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and customer service that, immediately after they left, I booked a recurring service to ensure this never happens again, and before you start rolling your eyes (I see you, yes you in the back!) nobody tried to sell me this service on top of what I already paid for, I asked if they had it available. My dogs immediately went through the house and back yard sniffing everywhere Tyler and Tanner went, including where Tanner sprayed repellant around our foundation, no ill effects. They assured me their stuff was pet safe and in fact my dogs aren't even interested in it. Guardian Pest Control is the real deal and has a customer for life! read more

Today we received an outstanding service on our residential community from John. Upon entering the management office John arrived with a friendly and professional demeanor. After introducing himself and the company he went over expectations for the day and the treatment plan that would be most effective for our community of 175 units, in great detail. John serviced 15 units efficiently and communicated well with residents about their upcoming treatments. Once the service had been completed and John surveyed for trap boxes around the perimeter of the community, he returned to the office promptly to wrap up his service notes. John was very thorough in not only explanation but documentation, which has allowed our management team to address the community and their questions about treatment confidently. He really gave us all the peace of mind that our last contractor could not provide. One thing I like is a business that can give you a price over the phone. Another is when it's the right price, which I know because I comparison-shopped. The biggest name in town wanted over $100 more, and in my opinion, there probably isn't anything one place knows about pest control that others don't. We ended up with bed bugs and our landlord hired Guardian Pest Control to exterminate. Patrick was great!!! Very professional and I trusted him in our home. This would've been a 5 star rating accept that the email correspondence with one of the managers wasn't the best. There were supposed to be 2 weeks between treatments and we had to wait a month which caused my home business to lose hundreds of dollars. Then there was confusion about whether or not there were 2 or 3 treatments needed with different managers communicating different information. read more

Professional, friendly, reliable and successful in controlling mouse, roach and bed bug problems at our apartment complex (multiple units). Before I hired Guardian, I was hesitant to go with poison for the mice problem we had, thinking it would kill the mice inside the walls and create smell and dead mice everywhere, pet hazards etc. But whatever they did made the problem go away without new one surfacing. Beyond that they gave good tips on preventing those pests from coming back, so far so good. Great Pricing, great service and they stand behind their work. Guardian Pest Control (Eric and his father) exterminated bedbugs effectively for 3 apartments in our 3-unit property in Providence. They did everything exactly as explained and eliminated the issue as promised. They even came out an extra time at no charge to accomodate a tenant's schedule. Their pricing is drastically cheaper than Orkin and Terminix -I paid about 1/3 of what I was quoted by Orkin and Terminix. They also did all the work for me where Orkin and Terminix require that you handle the prep work. Lastly they did not try to intimidate us by making the problem seem bigger than it was (definitely a tactic used by terminix). They are reliable and conscientious! What a refreshing group of people at Guardian. I had them out last year to treat a small outbreak of carpenter ants on my patio and again this spring for carpenter bees (which I had never encountered before). They were not patronizing, they explained treatment, thoughtfully had me stay indoors during application outside and followed up by giving me a "buzz" to make sure problem was solved.
