We have had Mike come the last few times and he's a really kind sweet guy who goes over everything in detail and honestly I think he goes above and beyond. The service also includes spraying for ants and stink bugs and I have significantly seen less of them inside since we started with them. Honestly I'm very happy, they're easy to get in touch with and reschedule and they let you know when they're on the way. Highly recommend.

The technician was supposed to show up anywhere from 9 to 11 AM but did not show until after 12:30 PM. I used PTO time that equates to over $150 at my work that is now lost due to Guardians error. All I received was a "sorry" from their call center. If Im running a company and there was an error on behalf of the company. I would do better than just a sorry. If the shoe was on the other foot, then I would've been out money. I take it professionalism is a thing of the past.

His solicitation consists of a hanging mechanism that he attaches to the outgoing postal flag and thereby affixes to the side of one's postbox. See photo. The business owner &/or his representative went out of his way to manipulate our outgoing flag and apparently jam his solicitation onto it -- It took some effort to dislodge the item without actually tearing it off. Your flag could easily be left in the neutral position, rather than in the up position: The unfortunate result is that your outgoing mail might never be picked up because of this rogue business's savage marketing scheme; and, the solicitation is affixed such that it obstructs the postal box/house number from clear view. P.S. Any attempt to contact the business owner to address the matter of postbox tampering is futile: Try calling the business number and you get a robotic message that blurts out the effect of, "All calls to this number go to voice mail. Leave a message."

Can not give this company a high enough rating!! We had a minor mouse problem on our home and Encon…read morewas recommended by a friend who had them deal with a large mouse problem at their home. I was not familiar with the company, but spent some time on the phone with one of the technicians, Rob, who gave me all the details about the services, plans & pricing on his off time! After speaking with Rob, I called the Encon office on a Wednesday and was able to schedule a visit for two days away on Friday. Rob came right on schedule and went through the entire house, checking for signs of mice, sealing up small openings that could be causing the problems and explained everything as he was doing it. Rob placed multiple bait stations in areas he suggested as an expert including some small spaces, behind appliances, the laundry room, basement, crawl space & garage. Even tho it was his first visit he did a quick spraying for bugs in the basement and walked the permittee of the house using steel wool and spray foam to seal up any open spots he saw that could be contributing to the problem. The plan I chose was the one year which was so reasonably priced I'm not sure how Encon makes any money. It includes today's visit, plus 2 more scheduled visits, PLUS as many other visits we need to deal with the mice and any other pests we encounter over the next here including pretty much ever bug imaginable (except bedbugs, mosquitos, ticks & termites which they do treat for additional fees). We have been trying to call , email since December 1st with no call back or email response . As stated above we paid in full and he has blown us off ......unacceptable !!! DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS COMPANY !! I have contacted the BBB and will do whatever possible to get a refund he breached his contract .

We continue to have bats in the attic, and recently one entered our living space. As a result, my son and I had to undergo rabies vaccinations, leading to thousands of dollars in medical expenses and a very stressful experience. Now, after all of this, the company is claiming my warranty is void because I had a new roof installed and did not notify them immediately. I understand if this was their first visit and I had forgotten to tell them but this has been an ongoing issue and it feels like an excuse to avoid taking responsibility. I hired this company to eliminate a serious health and safety issue, but they have failed to do so. The service has been ineffective, and I cannot recommend this company.

Nevertheless, roofer found a lot of carpenter ants causing a lot of damage to the home in the same area that was one of the two hotspots noted to Griggs & Browne last year. Will see if Griggs & Browne will cover the expense or not to restore the house and will update.
