I needed to board my cat, Honeybucket, for a week and was dreading taking her to the vet or worse, Petsmart, where she'd spend the entire time cowering in a tiny, exposed, and impersonal cage handled by who knows how many people. I am particularly sensitive to what goes on at "luxury" pet hotels - they hire teenagers at minimum wage with little experience. Sure these kids may have grown up with a pet, but come on, we all know that mom was really the one who took care of Fido or Mittens. A quick google search introduced me to Cheryl and I immediately sent her an email. She was quick to respond with pictures, brochures, forms, and a little about the bed and breakfast. I met with her prior to Honeybucket's stay and was impressed that every cat got their own private space and with how IMPECCABLE her house is kept. Talk about amazing odor control! I was completely at ease with entrusting her with my cat. I really liked the fact that she requires proof of vaccinations. She will take care of your cat EXACTLY per your specifications and with lots of love - the perfect balance of professionalism and compassion. During the week, Cheryl sent me updates and pictures which is above and beyond what I expected. Honeybucket had completely settled in and was so calm that Cheryl was able to give her a nail trim without any growling or biting! I know that Honeybucket was treated well because we've been back home for a few days and she has not retaliated for being "abandoned." You absolutely cannot find a better place to board your cat. My spouse and I have used Cheryl several times for home visits for our two boys. We typically space the home visit days out over our vacation, since they don't really need a personal visit every day. This tends to work out well for us. Older cats or households with single cats might need more frequent visits. They get lonely! :) Cheryl comes in, spends a few minutes with the boys, scoops their litter pan, leaves food for a couple of days, checks the mail, and then locks up. We can always tell when we return that she's been there to look in on them. They're usually fussy when we've been away, but especially fussy when they've been totally left to their own devices for the week. Cheryl's prices are also very affordable. I understand that she also boarding in her own home, kitty condo style, for those that need to be away for an extended period. While we haven't ever used the home boarding service, we would most certainly feel comfortable leaving our boys with Cheryl. We'e always had the impression that she really loves animals and treats her wards as her own. For what it's worth, I rarely give five star reviews because I feel most of them are totally inflated. Cheryl's Kitty B&B is the exception. Keep Cheryl in mind if you need to go away for a few days. She's worth every penny in peace of mind and the five stars.

Kara is an experienced professional who has been in the pet grooming industry for over 14 years and has recently decided to begin at home pet grooming. How it works - Kara comes to your home with all her supplies and sets up shop right in the comfort of your own kitchen. She has all the professional accessories and gear which is quite impressive. She uses your kitchen sink to bathe your pet and then sets them on her grooming stand to dry them quickly (with her number of professional dryers). She then proceeds to cut your pets hair to the length and style you desire. What is so awesome about her service is you can sit and watch her work so you know your pet is safe. But what is even better is she talks with you the entire time and explains to you what she is doing and why. She is very informative and teaches you many things from information about your pets breed, flea application and overall pet/care information. She is very kind to the pet and they feel very comfortable having her handle them.

Every single time, he is given a bath, nails trimmed and given a hair cut PERFECTLY! Kara comes to do at home visits, which makes my life a million times easier, as I don't have to drag my cat down three flights of stairs and into a car, across the city. She simply grooms the cat in the kitchen sink, or whatever large basin/sink you have available. Figaro would rather see Kara 10 times than see the vet once, she is that gentle and loving with him. Kara listens to what each pet wants and makes sure they are comfortable at all times. Somestimes if Fig is a little grumpy, we do not get his belly or tail trimmed, which I appreciate not forcing him to do anything he does not want to partake in. She is a wonderful and amazing person, and I always look forward to our chats while Fig is getting groomed. She has a ton of professional equipment, and uses whatever works best for your pet (ex: The louder blower dryer actually worked better than the quieter one for my cat, but I am sure with others it would be the opposite situation). She is knowledgeable about animals/breeds/etc, and is more than willing to share any information and suggestions. But since day one I have had no complaints about this place. My dog gets SO excited she doesn't even look back at me. She's never come home hurt or sick. She comes home and sleeps like a baby! My dog is skittish so I wasn't sure how her first ever grooming would go. Let's just say I am beyond happy! They far exceeded my expectations! I was able to get Phoebe in quickly. I waited less than 2 weeks to get her in. Her hair was very long and was becoming very matted from baths. I couldn't believe my eyes when I picked her up! It took 4 hours because of the work ahead. They have a system that just texts you when your dog is ready to be picked up. My dog looked absolutely gorgeous! The work that Jerrica did was top-notch. Phoebe looks like she's pageant ready! Haha!
