Lisa has become so integral to our family, regularly going above and beyond to ensure Josie is happy and healthy. We recently welcomed a newborn into our family, and we credit Lisa with making sure our dog feels happy, loved, and well-exercised throughout the transition period! (Lisa even got us adorable matching outfits for our dog and baby.) It might not be the least expensive option but it is worth every penny knowing our dog is getting the best care/attention. My dogs and I LOVE On The Move! My travel schedule changes constantly for work and they have been able to accommodate every single last minute change. I don't know what I'd do without them!! It is comforting to know that the same girl, Alyssa, comes out each time and writes me a note to share how the visit went. I also love to get text pictures and funny tidbits about the goofballs. I can tell she truly cares about Cooper and Ferdinand and gives them lots of love, treats, and attention. We typically have 30 minute, mid-day visits and sometimes an additional visit at 5 or 6pm with dinner if I have a long work day. I've been using OTM for 3 years when I have to be out of town. I have multiple senior dogs and cats and have been very satisfied with the care they get. I get updates with pictures after every visit and know my crew is getting the best of care. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We opted for sitter to stay overnight from 8 PM to 8 AM, and two visits during the day. Great communication - we received texts and pictures every day! Came home to very happy & spoiled dogs! My instructions were ignored and I came home to a big mess. My cat couldn't get to his food and water because my instruction to keep the kitchen door to the basement open for him was ignored; the door was closed. I wondered how many times it had been reversed and he couldn't get to his litter box in the basement. My elderly dog was in the living room and had peed all over the carpet. I had asked she be behind a baby gate to the bedroom hallway so she could go into any bedroom, but not have access to the living room. Because she is older, I thought she might have an accident and I wanted to prevent a mess in the living room. On one of the mornings the sitter was over two hours late to take my dogs out and feed them and my cat. I was sent videos of my older dog listless and I considered coming home early. My sister went to my home to check on my pets. She said they were fine, but later told me that she felt they seemed a bit stressed; she knew I would be home the next day and didn't want me to cut my vacation time with my family short. The sitter couldn't get my older dog to go out one day and then the younger one didn't want to go out either. There was also a mess in the room my dogs stay in and I wondered if the sitter had ever cleaned up a dog mess. At least there were no accidents where any of my pets were hurt or got away and they probably would have been more stressed if I had boarded them at a kennel or at the vet's. I was not offered any kind of compensation or refund. read more

We use On the Move petcare every time we leave town. They are a great service and are very reliable. They have a very, very quick response time. I love the notes we get after each visit. They are also very flexible and attuned to your pet's needs. For example, when we were gone for a longer stretch of time, the sitter recomended longer visits based on our cat's behavior, and they were able to make that change easily. I also feel like the folks taking care of out cat genuinely enjoy spending time with him, and it feels good to leave him in the care of people who genuinely appreciate him and care like we do! read more

Great service, great people! My wife and I had never employed a dog walking service (though On The Move does much more than that) and weren't sure what to expect. Prior to starting their service, they came over to visit our pups while my wife was home to introduce themselves and get to know our dogs. They asked a lot of questions and it was clear that they were thoughtful and caring about our pets and our house! Each walk/visit includes a detailed note to discuss what they did and if there were any concerns about our dogs. Its fun to see these when we get home from work! We receive an email note after every visit, many times with a picture of our pooch. In all honesty, I never thought a dog walking company would be so professional and sophisticated! All of the billing information is online, you can add and remove walks with ease and they are incredibly responsive to emails. Great service, very reliable. I have a cat with chronic asthma, which requires the inhaler twice a day everyday. And On the Move Pet Care let's me go out of town for the weekend or longer vacation with no worries. Their service charge is very affordable, the sitters are willing to learn more about your pets! And they always take pictures of you pet and keep you updated! Im glad I found on the move Pet care and they are the only one I will always get pretty sitting service in town! Definitely recommended. But be sure to have an extra set of keys to your house/apt since they usually hold on to the keys. I didn't have a spare key the first time I used the service and had to pay extra just to get my apt key back (key drop off service) . I wasn't informed about this at all so I had to go make a copy of my keys by the time I needed the pet sitting service again. But they are nice people and work hard, trustful :) I'd recommend to use their service with no doubt! read more

We have been with On The Move since it's inception in 2013! Bethany came to our house and met with us, to learn about our dogs (really, they're our kids, let's be real), and we came to an agreement on what we were looking for and what she had to offer. Fast forward now to 2018 and our original girls have passed on and we are now onto 3 new ones! And OTM has been right there with us every step of the way! Two crazy dog moms with special needs "kids", and they have always been respectful of our force free training methods, kind and courteous to our ever changing needs, more than understanding about last minute cancellations or "oh my god I forgot to request this date, can it be done?!?", and honestly they are almost like family to us! The last time I wrote a review was in 2014...4 years later, still love these guys! I refer everyone to OTM! Aside from great care for us and the kids, Bethany is wonderful at having fun with social media (like them on Facebook; she does treasure hunts in the summer!) and many of the dog-walkers/pet visitors do send photos of your kids during the day and may even text you updates! 5 years with Bethany and On The Move Pet Care and we wouldn't change it! read more

They took the time to come out to my home first, taking extensive notes on what a visit would entail & where everything was. We came home and she had even done a few stray dishes in the sink--she also kept the whole feeding and litter area so clean! I really can't say enough great things about this service. My husband and I both work strange shifts and sometimes we need help taking care of our chocolate lab. When we decided to sign up for their service, Bethany, the owner came out to us on a Sunday and had us fill out the paperwork. There were so many questions about our dog's habits, schedule, personality traits, specific training goals, etc. It was very thorough and well thought out. Since having the dog walkers come to our home, I'm even more impressed. They are available any time, even with relatively short notice. All I have to do is send an email requesting times for him to be walked, and they respond almost immediately letting me know he will be taken care of. Their rates are also completely reasonable. They have a system where you pay monthly for all of the walks/services they have provided. It's very streamlined and makes everything so much easier. We will definitely continue to use their services in the future. They are a great choice for busy pet owners. read more
