I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Overall, Munz was professional, honest, communicative, and highly skilled from start to finish. I could not recommend this company enough. They fixed everything the other group messed up and then completed the job that was intended. My parents had their cedar shake siding replaced with Hardie siding and their house looks brand new! Freddy, Dastan, and Talay were a great team. They worked so hard every day they were here and were meticulous in their work. They were so helpful with other things as well. A few times they would see me trying to lift something heavy and one of them came right over and said let me get that for you. Freddy was such a sweet guy in charge and if you ever needed anything you could always just give him a call. The guys cleaned up every day after they worked even when it started to rain on them which happened a few times. These guys were the best and we are so happy with the work they did.

They sent out two people to assess the issue and they said they'd be back to replace shingles and caulk. Two guys showed up early, before the next round of rain and took care of it - also didn't mind my questions and gave me a full recap of what they did, which I really appreciated. Everyone I've interacted with from Tufano couldn't have been nicer to work with and although I hope I don't have any reason to call again anytime soon, I know they'll provide great service and a reasonable price if we need anything further.

We did have an issue with the window manufacturer who could not make our front window correctly. JL came out multiple times to address the issue. Even after the manufacturer came out and measured they still did not get it correct! This was the window manufacturer NOT JL. JL stood behind their work and stayed with us until it was all done. JL had the window manufacturer remake the window in a new frame. That worked! If you are looking for a home improvement company filled with honest people , call JL Roofing and Siding! I appreciate Mauricio, Byron and their team so much!! They took a stressful situation and made it easy on me. By the way--their prices were phenomenal! I had an absolutely nightmare experience using Al's roofing to fix a leak and would recommend…read moreanybody read on before making the same mistake I did. The photo is of my ceiling following Al's 4th attempt to fix a leak. I hired Al's Roofing to fix my roof after noticing water stains on a bedroom ceiling. They offered me two solutions, $750 to fix the leak or $1,850 to "fix leak and other not properly made areas." I chose option 2 as I wanted to avoid future leaks and headaches. After Al's telling me the leak was fixed and cashing my check, I paid $2,460 to replace the damaged ceiling. Fast forward through a couple rain storms, and I noticed water stains in the exact same spot as before, except now it had progressed from water stains to full on water bubbles in the paint. I called Al's to come out and take another look, and they claimed to have fixed it, yet their 2nd fix ending up causing even more water damage as future rain came. More rain came, and more water bubbles kept occurring my ceiling. I called Al's to come back a third and fourth time for further attempts to resolve the leak. After the fourth time, I realized Al's is incapable of fixing the leak, so I had multiple other roofing companies come out to take a look. Both mentioned the attempts to fix the leak, as well as the fixing of the other "not properly made areas," were done poorly and below their standards. Expressing my severe displeasure with the service provided and the inability to fix the leak, Al's offered me a lowly compensation of $750 which was the initial quote to fix the leak. Despite my request for a full refund based on the fact the additional work couldn't be ruled out as having exacerbated the leak as well as not being done to a high standard, Al's refused to provide good customer service, insultingly suggested I just go through home insurance and pay a deductible to fix my water damaged ceiling. After multiple months of dealing with Al's Roofing, I am $3,560 poorer and have a worse bedroom ceiling than what I started with. I can't in good conscience suggest anyone ever become a customer of Al's Roofing, as I know I never will again.

Only Apex was able to accommodate our work schedules and meet me after I got home from work. James came to our house to give us a quote, and spent the next hour plus to review the work Apex does and the products they use. He also showed us the entire process in videos he had on his phone. We cancelled our other roofing quote appointments and scheduled the work with Apex that evening, and it took place the next week. They encountered more problems than anticipated, they stuck it out and completed the job in two days, even though they were scheduled for just one. Once they were finished the work, they cleaned everything up and moved our deck furniture back to where it was before they started the work (as an aside, our deck has never been so clean). Apex is affordable and was a true pleasure to work with. We had complete peace of mind through the entire process and knew that everything would be completed with excellent workmanship and professionalism. Look no further than Apex.
