I typically do not post reviews unless a facility goes above and beyond. This place is the top echelon of gun ranges while still being competitively priced. I generally have a 4 part rating system for anywhere I go, which consists of these factors: 1. Employee's Customer Service/Knowledge 2. Ambiance 3. Price/Value 4. Extra mile - bonus amenities 1. GTC's Employees - they are helpful, engaged and most importantly they are knowledgeable in all things gun related. I do not think there is a question you could ask them that they would not have an answer on within a second. I am very new at this but I pride myself on geeking out online for hours to learn every bit of knowledge I can. These guys added tips and tricks regarding gun-building, creating bespoke gun accessories and other ideas that I would have never thought to google. I have been to GTC twice and both times were illuminating with the level of knowledge the employees are willing to share. Most importantly, at no point during my interactions did they ever seem annoyed with my novice questions. ***** - Five Stars for a staff that is top notch and helpful 2. Ambiance - This place is brand new and exceptionally clean. They have an outstanding range system and every conceivable thing you would want to buy (or rent) in the gun space. Full rifle setups, silencers, body armor, you name it they have it to buy or rent. Also, the hours of GTC is very convenient as they are open late for the people who cannot get out of their office early to shoot. ***** - Five Stars for every imaginable amenity and great hours 3. Price/Value - they are on par with the standard prices in the area, which means they are an incredible value. You spend the same amount of money here for a superior experience. When i compared the price for rifles they are actually cheaper than a few of their competitors too! Its like getting Wal-Mart prices for a Neiman Marcus experience. ***** - Five Stars for exceptional value 4. Extra Mile - this is where GTC differentiates itself from its competition. Below are a list of things you can do here that go above and beyond: * Rapid fire allowed (and encouraged) * use of cameras encouraged * draw from concealed carry allowed * you can test suppressors for a very low price before you order one * the range is segmented into different rooms. One room for rifles another for pistols - they even have a quiet bay where new shooters can feel comfortable and not have to deal with people (like me) shooting their AR's and louder guns * you can choose to rent almost any modern gun imaginable and as an extra bonus they are organized in a way that makes selection much easier than other ranges. The customer service is terrible. I was in the store on 6/16/2020 and was told that I could by-bass the line for the range if I was shopping. On 6/19/2020 I went back with my rifle, and thinking I could shop just like I did 3 days prior, I started looking at merchandise. I then asked the bald headed guy with the rainbow beard how long the wait would be? When he told me an hour and a half I told him to put my name on the list at first, then I went back and told him not to worry about it. I didn't have the time to wait. So I asked him if I could look around the store and shop, like I did 3 days prior, and he said no. He said something about too many weapons being in the store. I told him I could go secure my rifle in my truck and then shop? He said no. So I asked him why I was able to do this 3 days prior but not today. The bald headed guy with the rainbow beard then told me "I was being a DICK". He then took my drivers license and went to the back. When he returned he said I was banned from the store. I then asked him, "this is how you treat police officers and military veterans?" At that point he said I could return the next day. I was apologetic to this guy and told him I was sorry if I came off wrong, that was not my intention. I was just wondering why I could shop in the store 3 days prior and not that day. He never provided an explanation and continued to tell me I was being a DICK. Had I not been a police officer but just an average Joe citizen, this guy would have banned me from the range for asking a question about why their policy changed. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Guardian Training Center. I will also be letting my fellow veterans and Law Enforcement friends know about my experience. This guy was the "DICK" and I sat there and apologized as he called me a "DICK" because I did not want to create a scene. As a police officer, I am trained to de escalate situations, not escalate them. So I let this guy go on his power trip. I have spoken to several people who have had very similar experiences. These guys are racist af I've been a member over two years, I've had multiple guest kicked out for nothing. If I come with a female it's fine, if I come with another black male we always do something wrong. Even though we are experienced enough to hit out target we all have licenses to carry. It's always a problem. I came to buy a 43x once and wanted to sell my APX9 to a friend with a clean background not even a parking ticket. After my purchase from them I asked about a transfer for the APX9 they saw my Haitian friend with Locs and told him he had to leave the building without any explanation mind you he doesn't drink or smoke doesn't have a record. So what was the reason guardian? I can only assume it's because we're black, I can go on about bad experiences with you guys but I'll wait for you to respond to this, then we can get into what happened yesterday and why I'm no longer a member and I don't think any person of color should visit your establishment. Took my Father here for his birthday, and Man I will tell you. The customer service here is absolutely garbage. It trickles down from the management. Jay the idiot that thinks he's in charge because they gave him the glorified title of Range Manager has got to have zero customer service skills, and probably zero social skills too. We complained because they kept having us move lanes and then once we moved lanes we weren't allow to shoot certain calibers in those lanes. Very confusing, and when you have a lot of gear it is really difficult to setup and re-setup. Takes time away from practice. When we asked for a refund, we were told by Jay to hit the road. And no refund even though they shorted us about 45mins, we paid for 2hrs. This place is very unorganized. I saw 6 employees including the manager Jay standing around twiddling their thumbs while there was a huge line of people waiting. Lady by the name of Cheryl had a bad attitude and should not be working with customers if she cannot be polite. And whoever is above Jay the Range Manager needs to do a thorough investigation on how he's treating customers. He shouted at me multiple times when I asked him for his name, I am top executive at a Fortune 500 company and if I was running reload gun range, Jay would be immediately involuntarily separated from the company if I saw the interactions between him and customers, like the way he treated me and my Father while we were there. Absolutely appalling behavior. I will be submitting a formal complaint to the owner of the company regarding Jay. We had one other interaction with an employee there and he was also rude I do not have his name. I will not be back and I will let everyone I know not to go here for their firearm/range needs, there are plenty of other ranges nearby that want your business and will treat you a lot better. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could because they're not even worth the 1/5 (20%) rating that's required to write a review. Where to start? - Staff was extremely rude and frustrated when a large group of my friends walked into the building. They raised their voices yelling across the store to ask who needed to sign a waiver and then rolled their eyes when 2 of my buddies raised their hands. - Once we got our waivers signed the process to get into queue for a shooting lane was extremely slow - we stood there for 40 minutes while their slow computers were trying to process. I dealt with a heavy set guy with a multicolored beard (I think his name was Doug) behind the counter who was also equally unfriendly and rude. When we asked to speak with a manager as to why the process was so slow, Doug grinned and said he was the manager in a condescending tone. - There was a dog jumping on my friends laps and they had pet allergies. Probably best not to have a dog run around your building without asking patrons first. - Their website broadcasts that they take COVID very seriously. They weren't mandating masks and their staff wasn't wearing them either. Absolutely ridiculous, why put it on your website if you aren't going to adhere to PA laws. - I haven't ever felt the need to write a review in my life and this place really sunk to a new low. I absolutely will never go back and will make sure to tell everyone I speak to how disgusting of a place this is. Sad I wasted my time on a beautiful day, stuck inside with rude people. I'm sure the owner of this establishment will comment on my review because after reading similar reviews he responds in a very rude and negative manner. I've been shooting firearms for most of my adult life. I'm so thankful that Guardian opened near me so that I have a safe, clean and modern indoor range close by. Previously, I've been a customer at Classic Pistol in Southampton and Clayton's in Horsham. The facility and staff at Guardian blows these places away! This facility is very friendly to new shooters - women especially. This is the only place I've taken my wife (not at all a gun person) where she feels safe and comfortable. Guardian has a monitor/instructor in person in every bay while you shoot which helps everyone stay safe and they're there to help if you're having a firearm problem or have a question. They use active targets that can be programmed to turn and face you at intervals you desire at ranges up to 20 yards. I like the fact that they allow you to draw from a holster (once reviewed and certified) and shoot rapid fire as you would need to in a self defense situation. I am a certified shotgun instructor (hunting and clay targets) and even though I have all the basics, I wanted to improve my pistol accuracy so I recently took Guardian's Pistol 1 course. Reid ran the course and I watched as he and our other instructor provided very personal and individual attention to each of the 11 shooters in our class. I came away with some great new (to me) info about trigger and sight control as well as practice drills to further ingrain some new, positive habits to help me. I plan to join the facility later this month and also take more classes as time allows. If you like shooting, this is THE BEST facility in SE Pennsylvania! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I used to love this place after today. I witnessed an employee (could have been an owner or manager as well but I am not sure) SCREAM at a woman in front of every customer and employee in the place. I do not know what the man was screaming about but the woman remained calm and did not scream back. My first issue with this is I do not understand why a man would ever scream at a women like this. Not only that but the man did have a gun on his person (as you know, all employees carry a gun at them at all times). So not only did the woman probably feel threatened because she was being screamed at by a stranger but imagine how she felt knowing she could not stick up for herself or protect herself and her daughter because the man was armed. I AM DISGUSTED. None of the other employees stepped in to de-escalate the situation or calm the man down.... NOT. ONE. EMPLOYEE. Any employee/owner/manager of an establishment with products that are obviously dangerous in the store should make it their NUMBER 1 priority to keep their customers feeling safe. I mean HELLO THIS IS A GUN STORE AND YOU HAVE AN ARMED MAN SCREAMING AT A WOMAN. THIS IS DISGUSTING. I will never ever ever return to this establishment and will never recommend it to any of my friends or family. My first visit here was a during the pandemic just to look around and I decided to come back purchase a membership...I recently purchased an AR from them, I originally went to a competition however the vibe from the salesperson was like he didn't want to be bothered, so I did him a favor and left and drove over to GTC. The person behind the counter (i forgot his name) answered all of my questions and asked me questions to make sure I knew what I wanted. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in the complex that day and I was unable to make my purchase as the computers were down, but I was back that Friday and Steve (i think that was his name) was there to help me and he made a ton of recommendations with no pressure and even recommended that i try the rifle out just to make sure I was ok with it (time wasn't on my side at the moment) before i made the purchase. I went on and purchased the rifle that day including some accessories and was back the following week to shoot it and again I was greeted and spoke to ( i believe the owner with a dye in his beard) and 2 others behind the counter who made some other recommendations and offered me to rent before I buy. Each visit to GTC, i've never had any negative encounters and I would recommend this place to someone just starting all the way to professional without any hesitation. read more

This place is the most disrespectful establishment I've ever seen and is a disgrace to law enforcement and military. Many of the staff claim to be involved in the military but prove to be phonies and talk down on you. Doug (color beard) might even be the least of the problem as all the managers and the owner like to pick fights with customers. I asked what he does to color his beard he said it's none of your business but I can tell you that your business is my McDonald's is getting cold I should have been eating it 20 minutes ago. I laughed. He then asked my name again after having my ID in his hand as well as my membership he told me he thinks I am trespassing and local PD will show me out soon. I thought he was joking as I have been nothing but friendly and spent a fair share of money here. The staff is just beyond rude and on a busy day I've never seen such intolerance for minorities as many people of color and ethnicities came to the shooting range on a nice weekend. Awful crude jokes about skin color under their breaths trying to seek approval and laughter from other staff members. It is no wonder the turnover rate is through the roof. They know their stuff inside and out, and they make learning actually fun. After spending some time at Guardian, I'm never going back to a regular range again. All around a very good range. For lack of a better term, they are very 'relaxed' on the rules. That's probably a bad way of putting it, because safety is clearly a priority, but the range officers really do not bother you as long as you're being safe. They allow rapid fire as well as holster draw, which isn't common among other ranges that I've been to. They ensure a pleasant shooting experience for all levels of expertise. I've been to ranges that were a little cheaper, but the extra few bucks is well worth it for the comfort level that they provide. And I do mean extra 'few' bucks. The prices are still very reasonable at about $20 for an hour. Ammo prices are pretty good, and the rental selection is pretty extensive, if you're looking to try some different weapons out. All in all, a great experience. I've been there 3 times now and will certainly continue to go back. Clean environment, friendly and approachable staff, good times all around. First time visit - came highly recommended from a friend who is both military and law enforcement trained, and accompanied us there also. Took my son and nephew and we all had a ball. Front counter staff was very personable - not uptight or rigid. Spent most of my time in the Pro Shop talking to Steve and Mike - both were top notch and know their stuff with the firearms, accessories, and recommendations. Their prices are excellent and comparatively, are hard to beat. You can bring your own ammo and buy rounds there at extremely reasonable prices as well as rent firearms to get a feel for something you may have an urge to purchase. The RSO was pretty aware but mostly hands off unless there was an oversight on our part and it was just a mention and that and he pretty much kept an eye out but let us do our own thing. Great time overall and will definitely be making this a regular stop!! read more

I attended the Bug Out Bag course at Guardian Training Center taught by Mike Holden on 2/1/2025. Before this course I have researched this topic and put together several of these emergency bags and felt fairly confident in what I have assembled. That being said, this course was very valuable to me. Mr. Holden gave great information on bag contents, set up, and, very importantly, planning. There was an opportunity to see an example of a fully packed bag as well as bringing in my own bag for Mr. Holden to review and offer suggestions. As a result of this course I will make some needed additions and changes to my bags. I recommend this course for anyone considering putting together an emergency bag or anyone who already has one, but wants some additional input and feedback. read more

First, even at a non member price of $20 an hour, this is a great value. I remember shooting 25 years ago in ranges outside DC that were old and dirty and they were $10 an hour. This place is spotless, has a great ventilation system, and programmable targets. There is always a range officer in there and at least every time I have been there they have been knowledgeable and polite. Second, they haveLOADS of guns for rental. If you don't own one and want to experience shooting- they can set you up. If you are thinking of buying, here you can rent one to see if it is the right fit. My husband & I absolutely love this place. I've never handled a gun before (hubby did once) & I was extremely nervous going in my first time. From the moment we walked in everyone was very helpful & extremely knowledgeable. They helped me choose the perfect hand gun for me to try. When we were taken back for our weapons/shooting lesson I was so nervous. The gentleman training me was very patient. He could see my hands were shaking and he gently put his hand on my hand lowered my hands down and told me to trust him. And he would not allow anything to happen to me. That alone relieved so much anxiety in me that I was able to focus so much more. That was a year ago. Now we go every weekend. I'm so happy that we decided on this place. read more

After a lengthly absence from target shooting i was finally able to return to the range. I purchased a block of time from Guardian Training Center, packed my bag and went on Thursday afternoon. The facility is magnificent! From the entrance to the shooting bay, everything is bright, clean and comfortable. The staff is efficient, professional and friendly. Being a rookie at this facility I had a few question about policies and procedures. All were answered and I was off to the line. The range was pristine. I went to GTC the first time a little while after my 18th birthday to shoot a rifle for the first time and had a great experience. I had a carbine lesson with one of the staff and he was very helpful with learning proper form for both standing and seated shooting. I am now 21 and have been back multiple times even though it is far from me it is worth the drive 100%. Facilities are the nicest I've seen in an indoor range and staff are very helpful. They have a very wide range of rentals to choose from along with a well stocked shop with everything you might need. They also have a great selection of courses for new and experienced shooters.
