In which they let me know it's from another business but I forgot the name, however, really good donut. For our drinks, I got an iced pumpkin latte and my husband got a honey maple latte. Both were perfect. Generous amount and perfect sweetness! So there's a really cute library in the back that catches my attention. I immediately go there as we wait for our order and picked out a book that I immediately start to read. As I'm reading, the owner (wife of the guy I believe I met at the counter) says I can keep the book! Excuse me what?! I was so happy lol what a gem of a coffee shop. For my daughter I ordered the waffles with berries. This was slightly smaller than I expected but delicious. So sugary and flavorful. And I had a honey cinnamon latte which I also felt was full of flavor and had lots of cinnamon (I've had this in other places where I felt the flavor and cinnamon were lacking). That being said, it took 24 minutes to get our food which I think is a bit excessive for this environment. There was only one girl working when we were there and lots of people. Also, the bill for all that (plus an apple juice) was $53 and change including tip! (I paid that same amount recently at a cute sit down restaurant where the meal was big enough to have plenty of leftovers). The ambiance had a clean, minimalist aesthetic with pretty decor pieces. It was very quiet too... about halfway through my visit, they turned on some music, but it was still a quiet, calm environment with the music. The cachito was that good. I didn't try anything else, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but for the cachitos alone, I'd happily drive from Miami Lakes all the way to Kendall again.
