I was in contact with them on any changes and everything was set for 9:00 on Tuesday morning. Truck came in on a Monday afternoon and arrived at 9:00 Tuesday. But no Junk Hunks. I received a message that they would be there between 11 and 12:45. And I told them we needed to start and to call me before coming to see if we still needed them. We of course my son unloaded the whole truck by himself. I believe I should have received an apology and my deposit back. Not a happy customer and I will never use them again or suggest anyone use them. ​

They arrived here in late afternoon and they were able to remove my piano more quiickly than I thought could be done. They were polite and genial. They my home clean. I would call them in the future if I needed their services. The cost was very reasonable for a piano.

Glad that they took care of my needs but left me a bad case of buyer's remorse at the final cost. I was expecting at most to pay the $750 full load charge but was hit with two surcharges based upon ostensibly the weight/size of several items and the need to utilize a small portion of a 2nd truck. These surcharges were communicated and took the total cost close to $1200 and all for a 10x20 storage unit that was only 75% full. Besides the surcharges, I was disappointed by two things. First the need for a 2nd truck. Items were thrown in haphazardly which if organized better it could have all fit in the 1st truck. Secondly, I naively thought that that furniture items that could be easily repurposed would be donated elsewhere. An antique bench, schoolhouse student desk and another desk were thrown into the truck and I am sure ultimately a landfill somewhere. They were convenient and fast, but far too expensive. I will not use them again, nor can I recommend them. No apology or further contact is necessary unless it comes with a partial refund. Otherwise it is just lip service.

They also did some junk removal for us, which was fantastic for a couple moving out of an apartment where they don't have bulk item pickup. They wrapped the furniture very well, transported it down a singular elevator in our apartment complex, and moved it all into our house safely and efficiently. All on a very hot day! This particular move felt a bit more complicated than the type of moves I'm sure they usually see. Within the span of a week they moved my mother out of state to an assisted care facility and my family ( also out of state) to a single-family home. The guys were all extremely pleasant, showed up on time, helped pack, and facilitated trash removal. I never heard one complaint, and in fact, in the span of the full week I never saw any of them take a break. They worked full power every time I saw them. I feel confident in saying if you choose this moving crew, they will handle your move with professionalism and care the way they have done mine.
