The service was great. We were offered a glass of champagne, espresso, or bottled water. And before I even got home, Sophia texted me asking how I liked my purchase. I bought a new Ophidia bag here last week. Located upstairs on the second floor at Bal Harbour Mall. I had a good experience here. 2 sales people were helping me (they were a little busy when I arrived) and my time spent there was pretty short because I knew exactly what I wanted. I purchased a pair of shoes that retailed for over $1,000.00 recently. The sales associate, Monica V., was very quick to accept my purchase via text, but then completely disappeared after numerous attempts to procure a receipt and shipping information. In fact, it took three emails and four phone calls and I still couldn't garner a response. I'm a longtime Gucci client and the lack of customer service from this location speaks volumes to the ineptitude and lack of customer obsession from this branch. Trust the other reviewers when they share their experiences that this store should be avoided at all costs. The Beverly Hills location and all others will likely understand what a good customer experience entails because this store lacks it in spades. read more

Fairly late review: I decided to buy myself a new bag as a birthday present. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. When I entered the store I was ignored for the most part. I just got off of work and probably looked a bit plain. I don't see why that would matter, but it's the assumption I made. The store wasn't busy at all. I had two employees look my way and turn around to precede with doing absolutely nothing. I had decided purchasing online would be less of a hassle. As I was about to leave a friendly sales person (Kim) asked if she could help me with anything. I showed her the bag and wallet I wanted to purchase. She looked very surprised. "Oh my, your so decisive, it usually takes people quite a while to decide what to purchase." She gave me her card and packed up my new bag and wallet nicely. The previous two employees that ignored me were in shock. Their faces said "oh my, I lost a sale". Kim made sure I had a nice experience and was extremely professional and personable. Very disappointed with the service. I went in with an issue I was having with a Gucci purse and the person assisting me basically told me that there was no issue, that the leather was soft and would wear. No way, you don't buy a leather bag from Gucci and expect the leather to fall apart in 3 months with light use. I left frustrated after seeing I was not getting anywhere. I was told I needed to polish and care for my leather, lmao. I have several much more expensive bags from other brands for many years which have never had any issue after extreme use. I've purchased 3 handbags here in the past few months. I received great service on each visit, but sales associate Viktoriya is the best. She is very friendly, genuine and down to earth. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and offered me a drink. She then spent a lot of time showing me their products, and explained the various ways the product can be worn. For superb service, ask for Viktoriya! To the reviewer below that complained about Gucci being "too affordable" because the store is too crowded with browsers and "hookers" spending their weeks income.....You sir are a snob who is probably up to your nose in debt! Your money isn't any better than anyone else's! And one more thing, until you can afford a personal shopper, you can suck it up and wait like everyone else! read more

There has got to be a system to filter out the people who are NOT going to make a purchase. My wife and I walked in here after recieving stellar treatment at YSL across the way and it was like walking into a macy's. Too many customers, very crowded store, not much action at the register. Some customers looked genuine but many, I will say most were just window shopping and taking precious sales person time. We actually had to wait ask a question. The varience of the crowd will lead you to believe either Gucci is having a sale or it has become affordable. I will presume those people are drawn here by the name rather than the Gucci timeless pieces and iconic fashion. This is a very large store and is stocked rather well. I would say they are larger than the Merrick park store. You will find strippers here blowing their weeks pay just to say they own a Gucci item. read more

Horrible experience with sales associate Bernie. I purchased 2 pair of shoes, however, 1 was not in stock at the time. Therefore, I had to wait for the shoes to be shipped. I was informed by Bernie that I should receive the shoes in 3 days via ups. I waited 2 weeks before I decided to call and check; left several messages but she never returned my calls. On the third week, I finally got the opportunity to speak with her; she then informed me they wasn't sure of my shoe shoe size. I confirmed my size and she said she will call me back immediately but the shoes will be shipped and again I will receive them in 2-3 days. I waited another week....that makes it 4 weeks! I then decided to contact a supervisor yesterday 12/11/15 and he said he will get to the bottom of the problem. I then received a text from Bernie cell stating that I should receive the shoes today. Let's See... Additionally, I just noticed that this lady didn't even give me a receipt for the other shoes. She only placed the shoes that I received that day on the receipt....Therefore, she could have easily said, I didn't pay her. The worst part about this situation is that she told me that she prefer I pay cash when I tried to pay with my credit card. BE CAREFUL!!! read more

Please, do not let Moses assist you he is rude and unprofessional. I am sure why Gucci hired him as he does not covet Gucci's principals of quality and service. I called to check the status of my order, he told me he would call FedEx, but he never got my information to see how I wanted my shipment modified. He kept cutting me off on the phone. He told me he could not give me my order number over the phone, but yet I was able to give them my name, address, and credit card information. Bought a pair of mens shoes. David, the sales associate was nice and checked availability, as well ad hold them for me. The store was filled with people. I can see how the sales people would be frustrated. My complaint is that my credit card has a faulty-at-times magnetic strip that takes a second or three swipes to go through. Seems that Gucci has a "one swipe only" policy. I am not kidding. I explained but said something about fraud prevention. I was very embarrassed. My wife paid with her "functioning" card. My wife was a regular Gucci's costumer, but I have to be honest, after been treated as a dumb by the Gucci's customer service We're very disappointed with this brand and their products quality. Will never ever buy any Gucci's products for the rest of our lifes. She bought a Gucci's handbag at their Bal Harbour Mall store. She used it very few times. About 8 times. Suddenly, one day the purse had some rain drops. My wife dried the handbag by fesh clean air, but After it the handbag started to stains it's surface. So I left her handbag at Gucci's Bal Harbour store and after almost 3 months analyzing, the costumer service told me that the Gucci's handbag it's not waterproof and it's not their problem. This it's the most stupid thing I've ever heard about a handbag or any product. Where in the product or in it's manual says the handbag is not water resistent? Where in the warranty says so? (Because my wife never dived with this handbag , obviously!!!) How can Gucci sells a "good quality image" having products like this and worst, treating their costumers this way? Do they think it's my wife's firt purse? Her first Gucci? NO, IT'S NOT!!! BUT IT'S GOING TO BE THE LAST ONE!!!! If they REALLY have all of this quality, this never should happen. Is This product made just to use as a decoration? So I paid more then 800 bucks to use less then 10 times my handbag. Paid almost 100 dollar per use. Very goo deal!!., They pretend to be a luxury brand, but they just sell cheap tacky products for high prices. It' better to buy at Chinatown NY. I can bet It WILL be the same product.
