They are also honest people. We thought we were having sprinkler problems after they were done but turns out it was just the main water valve was not open all the way from something previously done. We had already agreed to let them redo our sprinklers but once he found the problem he let us know. He came over did a walk through and we spoke about what we wanted to do in our backyard. He said he could definitely make it work and would e-mail us a drawing going over our discussion and estimate. We were excited to hear back from him and to get it all started but he never e-mailed us. After 2 days my husband e-mailed him and he never responded to that either. That is very unprofessional. If you can not do the job, then be professional and communicate it. Do not waste people's time. read more

I needed flower beds redone in the front and back yards. Alex came out and gave me a reasonable quote. He recommended placing river/pool rocks out in the beds by the pool instead of the mulch that was there. It looks so much better now! They spent a full Saturday here and dug out all of the flower beds and raised up the existing stone edging (was originally too low into the ground so the mulch would wash out whenever it would rain). Alex and the team went above and beyond for our concrete and landscape rock project. Alex showed up for the initial appointment as scheduled (surprisingly rare in our experience), was knowledgeable when talking about our project, and very fair and transparent in his pricing. His team was able to start quickly after contracting and finished the project equally quickly. They didn't take any shortcuts, doing the little things we didn't expect like drilling in the rebar into existing concrete and dividers between rock types. We had one of the ugliest yards in the neighborhood. Our grass had receded and our bushes were way overgrown. I had been begging my husband to get rid of everything. Alex put down new sod in several places in our front and back yard. He showed up on time and his work looks great. He also explained a very clear schedule for how to care for the sod over the next 4-6 weeks especially (how much to water, when to use fertilizer, etc). I found a new issue with my sprinkler system after he left on the day he performed the work. Despite his busy schedule, he made time to come by the next day (less than 24 hours later) to evaluate what the problem was. It ended up being a simple problem that he easily fixed (it likely wasn't even his fault in the first place, but more of a coincidence that it just happened to occur on the day he put the sod down). Regardless, he took time out of his day to come fix the problem so that there would be no watering issues for the new sod. Excellent customer service. Would 100% hire him again and recommend him to anyone. read more

I am not really sure what has happened to Alex's service and I am giving this review based on my recent experience which was not favorable at all. I found Alex's company on Yelp and saw his good reviews. I called Wednesday and we spoke about my lawn care needs and set an appointment for him to come out Saturday to mow, edge, and clean my flower beds. On Friday, I sent Alex a text to confirm and received a call from him later Friday asking if he could come Sunday because he had to finish a job Saturday. I agreed to that with no problem. He did say that he would call Saturday to let me know if he could make it that day or if he wouldnt be able to make until Sunday. I waited ALL day Saturday for his call. I left him a voice message late Saturday evening AND sent him a text Saturday night. He has NOT bothered to respond to my text or call. Now it is Sunday morning and I am desperately searching for someone to do my yard because I am getting my home ready for my son's graduation party. I think this is a really poor way for Alex to treat a new customer so just beware! read more

We had overgrown bushes, a front hedge we hated, and a couple of unsightly trees in our flower beds, and I came across their website on Monday afternoon. Words cannot express how great Alex 'Guerrero' and his team are. We had just moved into the north Dallas area from a high rise in Chicago. The home we bought is gorgeous but the landscaping left a lot to be desired. A lot of over grown trees, a mess of weeds and overt grown bushes in both the front and the back of the house. We also had major drainage issues that were not disclosed in the home disclosure. Alex and his team quoted a big job of sod replacement in front and back, major tree removal, design work around our pool and designed river rock in several places in both front and back. He also had solutions and quoted French drains (in driveway) as well as around every problem area required. The team was always on time, always respectful and happy to do whatever we needed done. His pricing is really reasonable but beyond that, his manner and personality are the best. It always made the day brighter when the team showed up at the house. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, called on Saturday 8/26 to have him come out to give me an estimate on a french drain install, stated he would come out never did, had to call him to find out if he was coming. I started off a little concerned because I read in one review that Alex had not returned some messages. I initially reached out via Yelp and didn't get a reply, but tried one more time and got a response. I'm so glad I did. He quoted an outstanding price for trimming two very large oak trees and fixing some drainage problems I've had but have been putting off for too long because of the very high prices I've been quoted previously be other companies. The tree trimming was performed extremely well and I'm picky about my trees. Alex himself was out of town when his crew showed up to do the work and I think some directions got lost on the draining work. However, when I spoke to Alex about it, his only answer was "yes, we'll get it done" which meant his crew had to go get more supplies and come again the next day. They ended up spending three days at my house which was way more than I'm sure they wanted to, but they stayed until the job was done (and done correctly) which I'm very grateful for. I have already referred two neighbors to Alex and will definitely be using him again in the future. read more
