I needed a 240 volt line installed at my house for a hot tub. After some initial research on Yelp, I called Guiding Light and scheduled an appointment with Brandon for the following week. Brandon came by and assessed the job and gave me a no pressure bid. I also got bids from two other electricians which were in the same ballpark as Brandon's. I decided to go with Brandon because I liked his vibe. He came to my house a couple days later, walked me through what he was going to do, and then got to work. He completed the job as explained. A couple months later, I was having an electrical issue in my bedroom and called Brandon. He was on another job and said he could stop by in a couple days. When I explained the issue in more detail, he said it could be a potential fire hazard and came over that evening to troubleshoot. He eventually found the problem and fixed it. Brandon recently installed new exterior outlets for landscape lighting and a water feature. He took into account my concern over placement and visual appearance and explained very clearly what could and could not be done per Building Codes. He came up with a well thought out proposal and even went to the trouble of finding bronze colored outlet boxes for me. He went out of his way to route the underground conduit so that one of the boxes could be hidden behind a fence post. He was meticulous and efficient and even stopped a couple of times to show me placement options as the job progressed. We have further work that we would like done in the house and I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else. Brandon is very knowledgeable and quick to respond. He added a couple of switched, outside lights on motion senors and it was quick and very reasonable. He charged for actual parts.
