Yay ! I'm officially a home owner in Salt Lake City !! Couldn't be any happier with this location…read moredowntown! Huge shout out to Paul Hasna with Security National Mortgage! Pauls been working with me for 10 +months , patiently letting me weigh all of my options while I change my mind a million times. I found something and they made it happen, all when I was out of the country 50% of the time. I had the best experience possible ! You think you may have an idea, but you don't. Every loan , every home, is different. Paul was beyond accommodating when answering any questions that came to mind, and helped reassure my decisions. I had no doubts whatsoever that I wasn't getting the best deal possible or they weren't working fully on my behalf. I'm walking into a home with an awesome amount of equity already ! I am extremely great full I chose Security National Mortgage. Being self employed sometimes makes you think you have limited options, it's definitely more work and I appreciate all the time that was put into my situation , finding me the best loans and interest rates possible. I am so happy with my place downtown ! Thank you Paul !!

He was able to get my loan approved after two failed attempts with two other lenders. He's very knowledgeable and guided me every step of the way. I would 100% recommend him.

I began my cash-out refinance at the end of May with the expectation that the process would move forward in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, it is now well into July, and my loan still has not been finalized. The most frustrating part has not even been the delay itself--it's the lack of clear communication. For the past couple of weeks, I have repeatedly been told that my file is "with underwriting for final review" and that we are "just waiting for final sign-off" before being cleared to close. Unfortunately, I have heard essentially the same update over and over without any meaningful progress or explanation. Throughout this process, I have promptly provided every document requested of me. My appraisal was completed, the FHA case number issue was resolved, and every time I ask for an update, I continue to receive the same generic response that we are almost there. If there is a specific issue holding up my loan, I believe that should be communicated honestly and transparently. If there isn't, then the file should be moving forward. Buying or refinancing a home is already stressful enough. Borrowers deserve timely communication, realistic expectations, and straightforward answers. Instead, I have spent weeks wondering whether anything is actually happening behind the scenes because I have received very little information beyond "it's still in underwriting." At this point, if I were not already so far into the process, I would have seriously considered taking my business elsewhere. I understand that delays can happen in the mortgage industry, but keeping customers in the dark for weeks with little more than repeated assurances is not acceptable customer service. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and works to improve communication and accountability throughout the loan process. A simple, honest explanation goes a long way and would have made this experience far less frustrating
