This GC location is amazing! I've always shopped different GC locations and have always received satisfactory service but felt I had to post a review of the incredible service at the Jackson location. I placed an online order for a Gretsch guitar sold from this location. Prior to placing the order, I called the store and spoke with Matt, who was very friendly and provided me details of the actual guitar and convinced me to buy it....so I went with his advice! As normal, after placing the order, you wait anxiously for your item. I made a follow up call and spoke with Tyler (I believe that was his name), as well as Alex to check on the shipping status. Both were awesome and helped me out without hesitation, Alex even called me back just to give me an update later on in the day....incredible service by all of these fine folks! I have always been able to get great guitars for less than full retail and no interest financing was available if I wanted it.

I've been in here a few times and it's always disappointing. The staff is not friendly at all and comes across as arrogant and condescending whenever I try to ask questions. Guess what, if you work here you're supposed to know about the product and share that information with customers. I made my final visit, won't happens again. read more

Very nice place. A little smaller than other Guitar Centers, but they have all the things that 99.99999% of all musicians want. Unfortunately, they didn't have a U-Bass, but that's a rather esoteric thing to purchase. Staff was friendly. It's a good music shop. read more

I love this location! The people are nice and helpful! If you ever need something, this is the place to go! They have a HUGE selection of guitars and basses, which, for a bass player who likes tons of tones like me, is pretty amazing! I went in to buy some strings and got exactly what I wanted, but I did do some research first. I like the ranges of prices in guitars, I saw one that was $100 and I also saw a gibson for almost $5000! They have pretty much everything, AND everything they don't have they can order online! Store smells horrid, employees never offered assistance and stood around bs'ing. We left.

I could not get back for a return due to health issues and I'm very disappointed the could not do and exchange after 45 days. That is a terrible policy. Do yourself a favor and buy online and avoid Guitar Center. read more

I ended up buying a guitar from Lakeland Music, but I did find something I wanted at Guitar Center. A guy named Noah was extremely helpful, answered a bunch of my questions, compared a couple guitars for me, and helped me narrow down my choices. I will definitely go back there when I end up upgrading to a new electric bass. read more

A family member recently gave me an acoustic guitar so that I can learn to play, and as someone with little to no instrumental experience, I wasn't sure what I needed to get the guitar strung. I brought the guitar in and spoke with a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman named Brandon who not only strung the guitar in short order, but also showed me how to do it myself. He also taught me several neat tricks to make it easier and quicker. Everyone from the front desk to the back counter was extremely pleasant and helpful, and it seems as if everyone here enjoys the work they do. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
