My experience with this location. I had several watches that needed battery swaps. The store was…read morebusy, so I patiently waited. When it was my turn to be assisted, I explained what I needed. The employee told me to stand to the side while they helped two additional people. SMH. I went to another employee that was not occupied with customers and began receiving assistance. Then the employee that would not help me left her customers and came over to tell the employee that began helping me to only take 4 or 5 of my watches. I left 4 watches. I would not have left any and I shouldn't have, but I was recommended this location from a good friend, so I did. I was told upfront that it would be a wait because of the holidays. I got a call a week later to pickup the watches and the batteries were swapped successfully. I took my remaining 10 watches upstairs to another jeweler for battery swaps and he finished them all for me, no questions asked, in less than 10 minutes, half the cost . Moral of this story, go with your gut. When you are treated in a weird and unconventional manner, just move on without incident to the next business that can serve your needs.

For some reason every item I saw in there (no matter what it was) kept coming up at $24.99. I don't know about that. Most of the rings in there were priced at $9.99 and their necklaces were priced around $17.99. Everything in there was very classy. I walked out with a $204 bill. I've never had particularly kind service here but today took the cake. The start of the checkout process was something of an interrogation involving every bit of personal information they could possibly ask for. They asked for things repeatedly and asked me to double check everything (lots of mistakes). After that, running my card was something of a fiasco, the first two times it didn't work at all even though it went through the whole process (I'll have to check for excess charges now). To pile insult upon tedium, the manager helping with the transaction looked at me and said "well you're a testy one aren't you?" If that were ever an appropriate thing to say to a paying customer who had complied perfectly with your Byzantine instructions, I'm sure everyone would agree that it is incredibly tacky to say after the payment has been received. It is my deepest regret that I did not get the name of the short white lady manager.

A pawn shop is required to match at least 10-20% of silver's melt value. After calling out the appraiser on the $10/oz he keyed in, he proceeded to stutter and trip over his words when I asked him to explain the value. The older guy spoke up and said they don't pay over 50% for silver after he realized I wasn't new to this. They are absolute scum as a business.
