I didn't mind so much getting a guitar that had minor issues, what I really hated was the attitude and unhinged behavior of the owner. It's a very "old-school" approach in the guitar and music world for older men to act belligerent, as if they are the only ones in the world with any common sense, when in truth they are simply the loudest and most arrogant. Times have changed and I hope the owner, instead of arguing with this review (which I imagine he will) goes to therapy and learns how to converse respectfully with others. Also the negative reviews where he says "you're referring to a different store " are BS, they are absolutely about this shop and he is trying to gaslight.

I will start off…read moreby saying that Jake was an absolute rockstar and without him my wedding probably would've fallen apart, so I'm very thankful for him. But the reality of it was that we had paid for a rental package for my wedding that included a wireless handheld mic, a stand for the mic, 2-12 in speakers, stands for the speakers, and the necessary cords. The day of pickup (the day before the wedding-per the rental agreement) they helped put the items into my car and we drove home to set up for the wedding. When we get home and started setting everything up, we noticed they did not include the stands for the speakers, they gave us a body pack mic (which isn't what we paid for nor is it feasible for a wedding with speeches and a ceremony with multiple people speaking) and the mic didn't even work since the inside was corroded. After realizing we didn't have most of what we needed we called the store and luckily for us Jake answered. He came all the way to our home at 10pm with everything we were missing, including the correct mic and made sure everything worked properly before he left. I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am for him and what he did to correct the problem. Unfortunately, the day after the wedding and dropping off our rentals the person who assisted us had no interest in helping us bring the rentals back into the store. We had no idea where to leave them and they were clearly frustrated that we had asked for their help. My husband cannot lift anything due to doctor's orders so I needed help and to be met with the employee's frustration after everything we had dealt with this business was just so disheartening. Overall, I just wish there was some better communication throughout the store. Everything just felt disorganized and it was obvious from the beginning. As someone who also works in customer service, I hate to even leave this review but the amount of stress this caused us was overwhelming. But I do want to give another shoutout to Jake because he really made it happen for us, and I will always be so grateful for him.

I've been here a couple times as I've needed a good ukulele. The selection is outstanding--I can't…read moreimagine finding more choices unless you go to a dedicated uke shop, and those are rare. They have a few cheapies (the typical ukes that are more like toys), many entry-level and mid-level instruments, and quite a few high-end instruments in exotic woods. They also know a lot about the different brands, and materials, and strings, and they have just about any modification or accessory you need: straps, cases, capos, strings, options for a setup or add electronics, and so on. Their prices are almost always competitive with the big online retailers. As a bass player, I can also attest to the good selection (albeit Fender-heavy, which is fine with me) of guitars and basses. They are a cut above any independent music store I grew up with in terms of quality and price, and their service and attention to customers puts them above the big guitar chains. Highly recommend!
