The water is shut off several times a month at random times. The roads flood so deep all the time and you would never know if your lot will be underwater until after you move in. The GM is overwhelmed and NEVER responds to emails. Park inspections are a joke, there is supposed to be a standard and they gloss right over material defects as I tried to buy twice in that park and both times they passed the park inspection as I scratch my head looking at the obvious defects of these homes. The pools are way too small and are basic the main pool by the entrance is still rubble. Security guards at night are always sleeping when I drive in.

Well, she sure was right. Pull in slots and you pull right up to the water. They have boat slips and many sites you can have your bot right in front or on side of your RV. They do not allow tents. The woman who helped me during several phone calls asking for info could not have been more helpful or friendly ! I finally met her to reserve my same site for next years Labor Day because they book up quick (they only have 5 'ultimate' sites, I can't speak on availability on other sites. A quick 5 minute walk and you are over at the Nauti Parrot dock bar which has good food, good drinks, and live music. The only downside is the pool is *very* small. And was full both times we went to go and opted not to. Glass is not allowed but with all the people with Dixie cups / coolers and kids I didn't feel being that crowded in a small-ish pool.

The resort is just beautiful, it's surrounded by water on three sides and the view out our RV window was breathtaking. The pool, grounds and restrooms were always meticulously kept clean. I can't start saying enough good things about the staff, Stephanie (the resort manager), Denise (the office supervisor) and Gary and Kevin (the hardest working men I've ever met) pour their hearts and souls out to make sure your visit is a pleasant experience. We travel a lot and have stayed in many places but this one beats them all. I have to take two injections twice a month for an illness I have. It's shipped on ice and has to be kept cold. I notified Stephanie that it would be arriving the following day. The next morning I had a knock on my RV door, when I opened it Gary handed me my medicine. To me that goes beyond great customer service, it shows they truly care about their guest. Don't let me forget to mention the little tractor. If you don't want to back your travel trailer Gary or Kevin will put it in your spot with the tractor and not leave until you are 100% satisfied that it's exactly where you want it and it's level. In my opinion this is the best RV Resort in the Fort Myers and Sanibel area.

About the resort itself it's packed You right on top of your neighbor you're facing each other so there's no privacy You have to hear people's arguments people's everything they do You hear and you see and you're kind of forced to eat with other people and congregate with other people that you may not want to be with. So think twice about coming to this resort it's not my idea of a good vacation. I also found the management to very much by the book to the point where it becomes annoying. Also know it's impossible to park here they are annual people that live here that think they own all of the overflow parking spots and park their golf carts in them to reserve them while they're driving their vehicles to the store or wherever. I complained to the management but nothing ever happened these people are allowed to do whatever they want because they are annual guests. They think they own the park and that they have reserved parking spaces. I guess it's up to the management to put them in their place but I haven't seen that since I've been here. I ran it to one person name Ken he started physical fight with me over a parking spot and threatened me. when I complained to the management nothing was done about it. Apparently he's got special parking space just for him where he takes up not one or three parking spaces he doesn't want anybody park next to him on either side so he parks in the middle of three spaces so there's just enough room to get in but you can't open your doors I was yelled at very loudly by the staff because I parked in the unauthorized parking spot. And the staff can be very rude at times. so I probably will never be coming back here as a matter of fact I know I'll never be coming back here again and would not recommend this to anyone if they are from a city or any place where people are packed together like sardines.

There is no security or monitoring of anything going on at the campground. I don't mind drinking & partying but quiet time is from 11pm-7am and people are going at least until 1-3am. If we hadn't been flooded in for a few days I would have pulled out early.

I offered to send some money for the cancellation and Anita at the front would not have it. They even rescheduled us for now. The shower facilities are clean and well maintained. Some of the best rv sites I've ever seen with a fair amount of privacy. The birds are super cool to look at and admire. The speed limit is a strict 7 1/2mph which means you don't have to worry about being knocked off or mowed over on your bike. The beach is about a 10 minute walk or a short bike ride, beautiful beach. Overall beach feel to this campground. We will be here for another 2 weeks and cannot thank periwinkle park enough for an amazing affordable Sanibel experience!

Each time, we were assured that everything was set. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, we were met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Erin yelled at our kids and even pushed one of our young boys out of her way, which was completely unacceptable. What was even more disappointing was the response from the General Manager, Tyler. Instead of helping organize the situation or offering any support, he repeatedly told his staff, "Don't be discouraged--this is more money for us." Hearing a manager make that comment multiple times while our group was struggling was incredibly frustrating. At no point did he step in to resolve issues or show concern for the experience of the children. To make matters worse, many of our kids were refused skate mates because staff said they already had too many in use and needed to save some for other customers. This left several children without the assistance they needed, despite our group being scheduled and confirmed in advance. I am genuinely disappointed that I chose this venue for our group outing. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and dismissive attitudes from Tyler and his team turned what should have been a fun day into a stressful experience. I would not recommend this location to anyone planning a group event, especially one involving children. We expected a welcoming environment and received the exact opposite.
