Hotel staff is very nice, rooms are nice and clean. I just wish the gym had more. A cable machine and some yoga mats would be fantastic. Definitely yoga or stretch mats would be nice.

Nice and clean hotel well located right next to an exterior shopping mall. Free wifi and free breakfast. Very kind staff. Large rooms. I stayed in room 405 and it's pretty spacious, it has a living room, office space+ a fridge. I really enjoyed it.

We stayed over one night here -- just a quick stop-- and it worked out great. The hotel is cheerful and comfortable. The reception desk staff was very personable and even wrote his name --Ryan! -- on the keycard envelope for us; I haven't seen this done before. We wanted to stay in for the evening & watch the Golden Globes & this could not have been any better! First of all, our guest room was extremely nice--very large and attractive. I thought it was super for the cost: $165 with all taxes. There was a big sofa and a table and refrigerator. Next door is a big shopping center so it was easy just to walk over & pick up soup & salad & bring back. It was cool that evening so we were cozy & comfy in our very nice hotel room! I recommend the Hyatt Coconut Point to all my fellow Yelpers!

    Very dirty comforters

THIS HOTEL IS FILTHY. I had a horrible experience here, we had to change rooms 2 times, the first room smelled musty and had stains everywhere on the sheets, the ceiling also looked like it was about to collapse with a huge crack. The second room was even more disgusting, there were hairs all over the sheets and the comforter was covered in what looked like mold. There was also what looked like bodily fluids all over the bed skirts. The rooms are so dated and have a motel vibe. Please see attached pictures.

This hotel is at a mall. It's nice. Free wi fi,free breakfast and free parking. The hotel was clean. I was supposed to stay at Hyatt in Ft meyers they couldn't accommodate me. So I'm 20 minuets from where I want to be. I booked the other hotel because I had an event 2 miles away. This hotel is very nice. My only complaint is I turned the thermostat up and it won't stay at what I set it at the room was freezing despite me turning off the air conditioning.

The hotel was nice in a great location near the mall with friendly service. We were able to walk to a Starbucks and the mall.

They were so respectful of the guests and kept our tables immaculately cleared. Access to the island by boat was a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. Plus, the captain and boat crew were focused on ensuring patrons had a positive experience by slowing for bird and dolphin sightings and their willingness to take family pictures. In addition, our room was incredible with three balconies and two amazing views. The gym was also nice; all the machines were clean and working, plus it was well equipped. For such a fancy hotel, I was quite surprised there was nowhere to find water. I expected a fruity water station somewhere near the entry, a standard in high-end hotels today. I was also surprised the concierge could not provide a running map. Even with the local construction, the path right out the front door is nice and separated from traffic. I found the run to Target (for a cool coffee drink) was perfect for a 5-miler. Surely the 10-mile option would include even more treats. Having the front doors opened every time anyone approached the front of the hotel was a nice touch.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA…read more I initially contacted Expedia to cancel my hotel reservation after realizing that the hotel was significantly farther from my destination than your website had led me to believe. I was informed by an Expedia representative that although I was past the cancellation deadline, I could request hotel approval and would only be charged one night's stay. Following this advice, I contacted the hotel directly. The hotel manager informed me that because the booking was made through a third-party service, they were unable to cancel the reservation and instructed me to contact Expedia again. I did so, and Expedia reached out to the hotel on my behalf. Despite these steps and the assurance I received from your representative, I was ultimately charged over $500 for the full stay, even though I did not stay at the hotel at all. This directly contradicts what was communicated to me during my initial call with Expedia. I later received a $50 credit toward a future booking, which does not adequately address being charged in full for a stay I never used, nor the incorrect information I was given by customer service. I am requesting a review of this case and a refund consistent with what was originally explained to me, or at minimum a reasonable adjustment to reflect that I did not stay at the property. Unfortunately, I was pass the cancellation date and didn't mind pay for one night as originally agreed to with a representative

We interacted with Jalyn in person, and Stefan via text at the front desk. Both were very personable and professional. We brought our two cats with us on the trip, and there is a $75 pet fee which was a lot lower than other hotels we looked at. They also allowed two pets per room, when other properties only allowed one. That was our main reason for picking this hotel. The beds were super comfy (we were in a King Size room), the lobby was well maintained with fruit infused water and great coffee (with little flavored creamer pods, which I appreciated). After the great check-in process with Jalyn, we headed to our room to get our cats settled. In the first room we were in (201), we noticed a weird sticky liquid leaking onto the carpet from the air conditioning unit. Since we didn't know what it was (condensation or Freon or what). we didn't want to chance it with our cats in the room (possibly licking it) if it was a chemical. We called down to the front desk to voice our concerns, and they were very apologetic and completely understood our concerns. They moved us to another room (222), with the same layout and bed size and everything. This new room did not have the leaking air unit but it did have its own issues. The box spring was torn under the bed so our cats were getting into it (and again, we weren't sure of the safety of that, if there are nails or splinters inside there). After they kept getting in there no matter what we did to block it, we stopped by the front desk to ask for a stapler to reattach the boxspring fabric ourselves. They did house a lot of displaced folks during a recent hurricane (which is awesome of them), along with their pets so maybe another mischievous little guy did that boxspring damage. The other issue we had was that the toilet would clog very easily with the smallest amount of toilet paper. We got a plunger from the front desk to try to fix that problem, but it seemed like it was definitely a plumbing issue that should be looked at. And on the last night, while trying to get some sleep for a super early flight the next day, I saw my two cats both freaking out and chasing something. It was a large bug coming out of the bathroom that then scurried into the front closet. It was either a roach or a palmetto bug, but whatever it was, it was not a nice sight to see and I did not get a wink of sleep after that. At 4am, I tried to make the coffee in the room's little kitchen area, but the coffee maker was the kind that took coffee pods and the little basket of coffee items only had packets of coffee grounds, not pods. Another letdown, for this tired girl. Overall, the hotel's main areas are pretty nice, the staff members we interacted with were amazing, but the rooms (the most important part) left a few things to be desired, unfortunately.
