I won't get into why the decision was made at the last moment, but I will tell you what happened next. When I informed FQP of our decision, they were naturally disappointed. After all, they were loosing money for a three night gig. But the first thing they ask me was if I would like them to manage the people as they arrived, not knowing of the cancellation. These guys made a tough evening go a little easier. I will never forget how they stepped up. Again, very professional.

The pool was ok but the chairs around the pool are terrible. Our unit did not provide beach chairs or an umbrella. We were in Condo 602 and it was a dump. Not worth the price! See pictures! Downstairs has a huge covered deck with electric grills, patio tables, and faucets and showers to clean the sand off before you go upstairs. The room had beach items (chairs, toys, etc) and there was also a community collection of beach items available on the deck. Pool area was nice and the pool was heated. Loved coming down the elevator and walking right onto the beach. Had an assigned parking spot under a carport. Plenty of visitor spots. Mile and a half from John's Pass. Room has plenty of necessary amenities such as tons of comfortable pillows, washer /dryer, towels, dishes, etc. 7-eleven within walking distance where we got delicious coffee and donuts in the morning, enjoyed on a bench beachside. Will definitely be returning next year. This is my new spot for Madeira Beach vacations!

We have been living in Madeira Beach for more than 6 years. The man in charge of delivering our…read moremail has always been nice with us. So much that we even used to give him cookies for Christmas. Always greeting us with a smile in his face, a very nice person. But, for whatever reason, that person stopped doing our route and now we have been assigned a new mailman, and that person is the most self-entitled and rude person you can meet. Two weeks into the job and he was already complaining that we don't empty our mailbox as often as he would like. We told them we both travel during the week and, at the very least, we empty it once a week. Instead of understanding, he said he was not going to deliver any mail to us again. I went to the post office and talked to his manager. He attended me and was very nice and understanding at all times. He said he would talk to him and, for a couple of months, everything seemed to be back to normal. But today, we hear a load bang on the door, I go out, and there he is again, shouting at me, literally "I've had enough, I'm not delivering any more mail to your house!". When I tried to talk to him, he called me an "a**hole", and when I said we never had a problem with the previous mailman, he replied "that's because they weren't doing their job". Well, maybe that's true, but he kept his clients happy and the business running. But this guy... totally horrible. He's lucky he works for the government, because in a private company, any employee that treats clients that way would be fired right away. Totally horrible experience.

This condos have a beautiful view.I love that there is a very different view from all sides. The…read moredown side of this place is a lot of the units need to be updated. The buildings are older. You have to wait on the elevators and some buildings only have one elevator. The stairs are on the far side of the building. So it's a lot of walking to get to them from half the units.(terrible if you are carrying a lot of stuff) Also the prices are expensive because you have water views. There is parking under the building in the shade, which is a plus. They do have tennis courts, more than one pool, rec center, concrete walking trails, and guard gate.
