I had Twin State and another company come out and give me an estimate and plan. Twin States proposal was a far better plan and for the money made much more sense. Everything was done exactly as proposed. These guys are the real deal! They installed a really nice interior drainage system with a pump system. It looks and works perfect! We are so pleased with everything! My basement is dry and usable! From start to finish this was the best experience working with a contractor we have ever had! Even on the day they were meant to come over to give us an estimate not only did they call to tell us they would be 10 minutes late (much appreciated but honestly I wouldn't have even noticed), after walking around the house, asking some questions on exactly what we wanted to do they were able to come back with a fully detailed and printed estimate on the spot for us to review. We had gotten some quotes from other painters and none were this organized so we knew the job would be done well and efficiently (and it was). They took great care when scraping and making sure to remove ALL the paint chips (it looked like a haz mat site for a few days : ) The entire job (scraping, priming and painting) took less than a week even with a few afternoons of rain. Tyler was extremely helpful in picking out color schemes (who knew there were SO many shades of white?!) and we could not be happier with where we ended up. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I hired them in the summer of 2021; I had a huge project, a full renovation. I was approved for a FHA renovation loan which they were aware of beforehand. Kelly have experience with this type of loans. Within few weeks of starting, Kelly submitted unapproved invoices to the bank behind my back, made a bunch of financial errors in their calculation, increased their initial estimate fees. The bank became suspicious and delayed funds disbursement which stretched my project. They got money hungry, try to justify their financial immorality in the name of inflation, really?!. Very disappointing! I strongly believe that they saw in me a weak target they could prey on, it's saddening and heartbreaking. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone seeking to hire a contractor. At the very least, don't hire them if you don't live on site. Unless you can be there every day to question their single move. Not a trust worthy contractor.

This winter we worked with Stewart Construction to re-roof our home. I am convinced we couldn't…read morehave had a better end result. We had great difficulty finding a local roofer--with three companies, we faced multiple no shows, long waits for call backs and quotes, and trouble with scheduling. It seemed like none of the roofing companies had time for us. Someone suggested we take an alternate route and work with a general contractor...in comes Stewart Construction. Their quote was comparable to the roofing numbers we had seen, and we were scheduled to begin work two weeks later. S.C. was patient while we deliberated over colors and options, and they discussed in great detail how one product compared to another. We went with a 25 (30?) year architectural shingle by CertainTeed. S.C.'s carpenters uncovered a great deal of rot in the frame and nearby siding (half of our roof was 35+ year old metal w/ no plywood underneath). Working hard in the bitter cold, they repaired the damage at little extra cost to us. The porch section of the roof needed rolled out asphalt, which S.C. suggested we complete in the spring to avoid cracking the material. I appreciated that they were concerned with the manufacturer's recommendations and the longevity of the roof. When warm weather settled in, the guys came back and finished up. Overall, I was impressed with Stewart Construction's communication, respect for their client, and commitment to a job well done. When we do other projects around our home, I will certainly contact them again.
