The smaller playground for toddlers has a climbing structure, seesaw, swings, and some pretend play structures. The older childrens playground has alot for big kids to stay busy and playing: slides, climbing structure, monkey bars, sliding zipline, and swings. They even have a water play area that is active during the warmer months of the year. Their restroom area is clean and the picnic areas around are well kept with adequate waste receptacles. There is plenty of parking around the park as well. Overall, this is a great park to enjoy with your family, especially when the weather is nice and warm!

I hiked through Eaton Park to Big Canyon Park to Crestview Park. It's a really pretty park and super family friendly. I'd recommend visiting this park if you live in Redwood City. There is parking at the entrance and has beautiful views at the north end of the park with shade from eucalyptus trees.

Kids and their parents have been really respectful of masking up and being cautious. Nice, neat soccer field with a rubber track - great for doing your laps while being able to see your kids. Umbrella shaded picnic tables - good for lunchin' before or after playtime. Garbage cans at the ready. Exceedingly safe, apparently -- I left my diaper bag here once with my phone in it O_O and found it untouched in the same place that night! Dogs allowed, but not a lot of walking space for them. Everyone seems to respectfully pick up after their dog, which is great. Cons: WINDY!!! If it's windy in flatlands, it is VERY WINDY here! I thought I was dealing with a breezy day close to downtown, but you come up here and I half expected farm animals and fence posts to be flying around! Small parking lot that is often packed on the weekends. Expect to park roadside on steep hills at popular times. Playground is pretty small compared to some of the bigger ones like Burton in SC or Red Morton's Magical Bridge.

As a hiker, be aware of your surroundings and stay on one side of the path, and be ready to move out of the way when a bicycle approaches. Sometimes bicyclists can approach from behind. The marsh gives off a not-so-pleasant smell. Scenery is ok; not spectacular but you'll see the bridge along this trail. No shade so wear a hat and bring water if you're planning to take a longer walk.

Overall this is a great park in our community that is best for walk and to spend time with family and kids.

Great little local park. Was in Foster City over Thanksgiving '12 to visit family and visited this…read morepark three days in a row. There are multiple inlets to it from the surrounding homes. There is a nice gazebo, and a half basketball court (with a shorter than standard basket I think). Swings (both for babies and bigger kids - 2 each), and a jungle gym with a couple of small slides are at the other end of this small park, built over wood chips, which I prefer over sand. Great for strollers or bikes since there is paving around and in between the grassy areas. Very shaded, lots of nice trees. Only one caveat - it's built over a sewer, so it's a bit smelly near the swing/jungle gym area sometimes.
