Had a walking tour with Tim. We were lucky enough to be the only two on the tour, and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Not scripted, just information shared by a very knowledgeable and passionate scholar. Any and every question we asked of Tim was met with wonderful information. Tombstone is so much more than the 30 seconds most of us know of from the movies, and that's what Tim wants everyone to know. I can't recommend this tour enough. Our guide Laura was super knowledgeable about the towns history and major events that took place around downtown Tombstone. I've been on many tours in Tombstone and this one is by far the best researched one. The stories of events are thorough and the paranormal parts are entertaining even for those of us not truly into that. read more

My husband and I had such a great personal tour with our host Laura. She took us to places we would have overlooked if we tried this on our own. We learned of true stories and news accounts about several ghosts stories and historical events. I loved learning the deep history to the towns ghosts. I had goosebumps! real ones! This review is for the Gunfight show and Trolley Tour: If you're coming to Tombstone, you're probably in search of a tourist type affair. Why not check out the Gunfight show and trolley tour? It's cheap and entertaining, and it offers a $1 beer with your ticket stub, as well as small discounts at various shops and bars around the small town. The trolley tour gives some interesting historical information and our guide/driver had a sense of humor too. I was looking for the tourist experience, and this was a great part of it. They hound you a little bit for tips, but I understand that this is their livelihood in a dying tourist town. It was cute and entertaining. read more

The tour guide was trying very hard to be entertaining, but she was a little difficult to listen to as she aggressively yelled. My husband was very turned off by the way she rudely addressed those that wandered up to see what was going on without a ticket. The tour started late and ran long. It didn't end where we were told when we called on the phone, either...not that it covers very much area, but we were a couple blocks away from our destination running late when we left. My husband & I had booked the paranormal tour and ghost hunt at the Birdcage, but needed to run to our hotel room between this tour and that one which we had planned based on the schedule but because the tour guide was still talking when we were supposed to be checking in down the street we were forced to thank her and leave in the middle of her storytelling in which she attempted to "guilt" us into staying by letting us know we'd be missing information. It was really really uncomfortable for us. I don't recommend this tour. I give it 2 stars because they tell a lot of stories & we found a discount online...you get what you pay for. read more

If you take this tour ask for Jake to be your guide. He is so knowledgeable and takes pride in his job. He is very entertaining and had me rushing to each site just to hear more history about Tombstone. I also went on the ghost hunting tour with Jake where you get infrared temp guns and emf readers. My daughter had a great time meeting one of the local ghosts who is very social and likes to play with the emf reader. I had a great first experience in Tombstone, and can't wait for my next visit! read more

Laura was an awesome guide. We do tours in many towns and this was one of he best ones we have been on. First, Laura has a broad and in depth knowledge of Tombstone and it's personalities. She has worked in areas where she could research first hand the truth of the ghosts and spirits , as well as the true history of Tombstone. Second, she has equipment for participants to use like paranormal investigators use. And third, Laura has many great stories to tell of the not so traditional ghosts of Tombstone. No Birdcage or OK Corral here, but you will get the gallows and areas of Hob town, where Chinese immigrants settled. read more

Lets see...a guide that smoked like a chimney, ignored us and roped us in with cash only purchase of tix, no way to dispute. I spoke with owner a week after and he refused to refund me for the 5 people on our "tour. what a terrible experience in an otherwise great city. AVOID!! Rip off. Promised devices that never showed up(supposedly in for repair?) and owner said they don't have devices at all...etc.... read more

My Husband and I took this tour Saturday January 15th. Tickets were $30 each. A group of about 20 people. It was more of a walking History lesson in the dark. If you are looking for a ghost tour I wouldn't recommend. We walked around the block, we were giving a thermometer and a EMF detector, went to a couple "hot spots". We didn't go into any buildings. It was educational but not Ghostly/paranormal by any means. The guide was Nice as could be. Most definitely not with $60 bucks by the end of the tour a few other couples (along with us) couldn't wait to turn in our gear and head out. read more

I would give negative stars if that were an option. I left multiple messages with this company and never got a response to my concerns. I paid for a tour (4 tickets) which was clearly advertised to be a "ghost hunt" and would include use of "ghost meters" and "infrared thermometers." This was a historic tour but there was no equipment used and no effort to ghost hunt. The tour guide didn't even bring any equipment. Pictures shown to us on a staff cell phone with a shattered screen does not constitute a ghost hunt nor the use of advertised ghost hunting equipment! To me this was false advertising. Then at the end of the tour, the guide stated she doesn't get paid to do the tours and asked for money. The tour cost $138 for people and the guides don't get paid??? What a lie. I first just asked for a refund for the difference between this "ghost" tour and the regular tour. I never got a response. This tour is NOT a ghost tour, NOT worth $30 and only lasts one hour. Then you get asked for more money at the end. read more

Save your money.... $30/person and guide told us we couldn't see the train station because of Wild pigs, he didn't point them out just said he saw them so we are skipping that part. Was a triad of convincers to take the tour then two disappeared with the cash and the third obviously less experienced gave the "tour". At the end told us he doesn't get paid for giving the tour and asked for a tip.... yeah that was not happening. RIP OFF! I can read history books and walk around, tell stories and look in windows after dark with a flashlight on my own. read more

This was more of a history tour. While we enjoyed the tour, we really wished it was more creepy-ghostey and seemed a little pricey at $15 for just a short jaunt down Allen Street and back at sunset. Our host was plenty nice and knowledgeable, but all in all the tour wasn't what we'd cracked it up to be. read more

Get your money back before you start!!! The first thing we were told by the tour guide is that he made no money, that was to set up the tip at the end. The worst ghost tour or any tour of my life. They don't even bring you into a building. I knew as much about the history as this guy, well close. When the guy sat down at the end and said thank you, I thought he was joking. It ended 40 minutes before we were told is was to end. Sad that this was a total ripoff in such a interesting town. Oh they give you ghost hunting equipment to use during the tour, the same that I owned. I found more interesting readings in 15 minutes on my own the day before. read more

We all loved the tour. Besides being freezing everything was so interesting. My kids wont stop talking about their paranormal experiences and it was really fun to play with the equipment. Cool history lesson as well. We will be back. read more

Just terrible. Save yourself, please don't go. I would rather take a beating from a UFC fighter than sit through that again. No amount of alcohol or drugs could make that interesting. There's not anything even remotely "ghost like" seriously if you took a date there she would leave you so fast. The guides mean and the tour sucks. This was an entertaining tour that lasted about 45 minutes for $15. We walked around with "Mickey Tucson" who is also an actor in a few shows in Tombstone. He was very knowledgable about the history of Tombstone. He discussed 10 different supposed ghost sites and gave the history of why people claim to have seen apparitions and orbs associated with them. He was willing to answer any questions at the end of the tour. Even though the tour wasn't filled with too many proven facts, it was an enjoyable way to spend an hour. read more

Having just moved to the Tucson area from Virginia, I was excited about the prospect of visiting Tombstone and experiencing the "ghostly" reputation of this town. A group of our family members were equally excited to go, so we got tickets to the Gunfighter and Ghost Tour. Unfortunately, our expectations were never met during the entire tour. Right from the beginning, our tour guide acted as if she had something to prove about herself. It was more as if the spotlight was turned on her versus the tour surroundings themselves. The spooky factor was relatively non-existent. We simply walked a few blocks down the main street of old Tombstone and she spewed out random historical facts about our surroundings while interjecting more about her personal information and experiences. A few of the other tour members were so disenchanted that they walked away about half-way through the tour. We were never permitted to go inside of any of the supposed "haunted" buildings during the tour which was disappointing. Additionally, at times, our tour guide seemed more like a sales woman, trying to get us to go after the tour to some of the stores to buy things from her "friends." In reality, the highlight of the entire visit was waiting inside Big Nose Kate's for the tour to begin.(The food and the service were great there!) Quite frankly, I would rather be dragged behind a horse naked through the cacti and sagebrush around Tombstone than to suffer through this tour again. Take my word for it... you won't stand a "ghost of a chance" of being scared or even satisfied with this tour. Please accept this review in the "spirit" in which it is given. read more

I have been on a dozen or more ghost tours around the country. This one is by far the worst. The tour started late and ran late and the guide - Lisa - was immediately rude, unlikable, and a terrible storyteller. There was no rhyme or reason to the tour itself, and if you are expecting ghosts, look elsewhere. Lisa spent more time trashing Hollywood movies than she did sharing history about Tombstone. It was the most uncomfortable hour of my life, and I ended up faking a phone call to leave early and avoid a confrontation with her. I ended up at the Birdcage which was much more on par with what one is looking for in a ghost tour. In short, too expensive, too scattered, and a terrible tour guide. read more

This is a walk around and listen to story tour. Some interesting stories are shared but you stay on the street and don't go into any buildings (at least on the 6:30 tour). There are better tours in town. read more
