Just happened to come across this place while we were in town. The jeep and humvee with a mounted machine gun caught our attention. Also, noticed they had an outdoor axe throwing target and decided to go inside. As we stepped inside it wasn't too busy. It was clean, nicely lit and was very organized. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. They had a variety of guns, and for kids they had GoatGuns and other items. They had a bathroom for customers which was well kept and clean. I didn't have time to actually go axe throwing or go to the shooting range but plan to next time I'm in town. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. Had such a good time. Has a pretty cool look outside, draws you in. I'm a total amateur to shooting guns, very little experience but luckily I had a great instructor, Randy, to help me. He was informative, courteous and gave me a great recommendation for which belt-fed to try out. Showed me exactly how to hold each gun safely and comfortably, never treated me like an idiot or anything, he was great. Really chill vibe which helped with having such a good time. I shot a bunch of guns and it was a total blast, especially the big ass belt-fed gun. It's not cheap, but hey either is ammo and upkeep, so I get it. Nice little gift shop as well, got myself a shot glass. I had a great experience and If I ever end up in Williams again, I'd love to bring a friend or family member here. read more

I say, What a jolly good sporting gallery this establishment is! On my travels across historic route 66, I stumbled across an advertisement stating "Shoot Machine Guns!". I was intrigued so of I went. Staff could not have been nicer and more informative; As an Englishman I had never shot a machine gun (outside of the service) but they were more than accommodating. Prices were also quite affordable to fire three machine guns and one assault rifle. I will certainly return upon my next visit to the Arizona Territory! Good show, lads! read more

Excellent. We were visiting Arizona and walked by Gunfighter Canyon, and stopped in to find out the details. Cody was there to answer our questions. We told him we would come back and give it a go. We came back on Friday and Cody was there to help us. My daughter, future son in law and myself chose our arms. Cody instructed us on proper firearms safety and handling even though we are experienced with firearms. They got us squared away with eye and ear protection and we headed into the range. Cody was very helpful explaining the different nuances of the different firearms we were getting ready to shoot. Then the fun began. I shot the mp5, the scar16 and the Russian made ak47. I highly recommend stopping in here if you enjoy shooting sports. This was a very fun family experience, with memories that will last a lifetime. Cody was very easy going, professional and an excellent gentleman to work with. I look forward to my next trip to Williams Arizona, and will be definitely stopping in at Gunfighter Canyon. read more

He was well versed in gun knowledge, very thorough in physically helping you set up the mechanics when you're shooting, and overall had an enjoyable and comforting demeanor and personality. I felt very comfortable shooting automatic guns when I've only shot a handgun once prior to coming he Things to know: instructor comes with the guns you buy to help you with the mechanics of shooting the gun, guns come in packages of a few types of guns, facility is not huge from outside but gun range is super clean and easy to navigate. Vacationing in Williams as a gateway into the Grand Canyon. After taking the family to downtown Williams shopping, I needed my own "me" time. Saw the advertisement of Gunfighter Canyon when we checked in, I was curious to see what it is all about that deserved a perfect rating on Trip Advisor. I walked in and met a friendly and knowledgeable person, Reid. He answered my questions and showed me around, including the packages that are available. Surprisingly, he was able to accommodate me right away. I chose the Pick-3, including Thompson submachine gun, The Master Chief and the Uzi. Oh my goodness! What fun! As an Air Force Veteran, I was completely comfortable with each one of them. The Thompson was heavier than I imagined. After short 4 bursts with all the guns, Reid let me "rip it". What a rush! My favorite is the "Master Chief", powerful and loud! Reid is a great instructor and was very easy going. Again, he is knowledgeable about the arsenal that they have. At the end of the experience, I was a very happy man. Considering the cost of the ammo and being able to try different firearms, I'd say it was money well-spent. Highly recommend this experience and kudos to Reid for providing the instructions! Update: Second visit! Took my 2 boys back to the Gunfighter 2 days later so they can experience the thrill. As expected, they were both ecstatic and said this experience is a highlight of their trip. I specifically looked for Reid again and he was great and patient with the boys. We had an amazing time to sum it! Longer version; we were drawn in walking by when we spotted their hummer with a fake mini gun on display. There's axe throwing and an indoor shooting gun range. They have lots of packages with firearms to use but feel free to use your personal one if you have it. The staff were so much fun, we kept feeding off our hyped energies. But they aren't all personality, they are men of substance! Very informative and helpful. We used their 249 SAW and our own pistol. It was a perfect outing for me and my husband. read more

What kind of person always wants to shoot a machine gun in a safe environment without joining the military or crazy militia groups? Yup, that would be my son and myself. We were on Covid vacation in Zion and the Grand Canyon to get away from Cali and wanted to have a new experience. Luckily for us everyplace was empty. We found this place online and it had the best ratings and deals, so we bought two packages and went to get our machine guns on. The instructors were all super nice and ex-military with plenty of experience. They helped us through the whole event very patiently and made shooting guns as fun as it could be. The place wasn't full of the gun weirdos that you run into at your local gun shops, it was just normal people. My son is 14 and will never forget this place. We got to shoot multiple machine guns in the only place they should be shot besides war. When were done I we sere suppose to meet my wife at a brewery, but it turned out to be several blocks away. The manager offered to drive us over (during covid and masked up) to the brewery and dropped us off. I forget the names, but super awesome dudes!!! Thanks again guys! read more

An outstanding range. I travel 30 miles to this range from Flagstaff. The staff are masterful, friendly and helpful. No fancy mood lighting. No fancy display cases. Just clean and bright. Nice range of supplies. Nice range of rentals. The targets are not paper, so they hang still and straight from the hangers. Williams is a convenient town with nice places to eat and a Safeway. I'm new to the area, have been to other ranges here and I signed up for a membership after my first time here. This is my range. read more
