Interesting thing happened to me today. Did the background check on the Argentine mauser on Friday April 2nd. This gun store called in my application and not to my surprise I got a hold on my mauser till the 7th. Well, I went in today to check the status of the mauser and see if i got a proceed on the rifle Cause, when I left Friday she ( the store owner) asked for my number to give me a call if i get a proceed later that day or week... Well, I drove by the store today to see if there was a status change... You never know... People do forget to call folks. Anyway.... I walked into the store and ask the owner if there was a status change on my rifle.. She told me that they sold the Mauser on Saturday the 3rd... Needless to say... I was bummed out and unaware of this stores policy... read more

OK so I had been all over town looking to buy a 9mm and looking at mostly GLOCK but after dealing with the nice lady at Pistol Parlor, I ended with getting from Pistol Parlor a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield M2.0 9mm. I was much more pleased with this gun than anything I had looked at including a GLOCK 9mm I had in the past as the size, weight and feel of the gun is better than any expectation I had to what I was going to be able to get during these bad times. I was also not just surprised but happy that she had put aside a box a bullets as during this time, pistol ammunition was unavailable everywhere I looked, but had changed weeks later. When I was leaving Gary had come in and got me a great holster plus I have been back since and gotten a speed loader which works so much better than trying to load by hand. I also talked to Gary about getting Mod parts for the gun and he said that not only would it be better that he do them, mainly the Monarch Trigger System as with my bad hands I would be more at comfort to having them do it rather then something going wrong. Since buying it I only wish I would of gotten it with the "Crimson Trace Laser" from the factory but will probably end up getting the bolt on one. Look forward to doing business with them in the future, but first need to go to a Shooting Range and try this out. read more

I finishined the paperwork quickly and the store called in my application and not to my surprise I got a hold on my mauser till the 7th. I figured this would happen as the ATF is inundated with applications. I've had this happen on occasion but its rare and I usually get a proceed a day or 2 later. Sometimes its the stated time like in this case. I went in today Monday 5th 2021 to check the status of the mauser and see if i got a proceed on the rifle Cause, when I left Friday she ( the store owner) asked for my number to give me a call if i get a proceed later that day or the 7th when the rifle was slated to be released... Well, I drove by the store today to see if there was a status change... You never know... People do forget to call folks. Anyway.... I'm not a gun owner, I just was with a friend that needed to get some information. She'd heard the radio ads and thought the voice was trustworthy and that is how we ended up in the store. First off, we were greeted by a plethora of puppies and dogs that were cute as cute can be. The woman that helped us was beyond pleasant, she was so knowledgeable, with two women that knew less than nothing about guns or shooting. My friend not only got the information she was looking for, she learned of possible alternatives on getting a gun from Maine to AZ. When she complimented the radio ads, the woman was delighted! It was her husband who's voice my friend admired. If I ever were to buy a gun, I know this is where I would look first. read more

Went in to buy some firearm accessories and was blown away with the customer service there. We ended up talking for 30 minutes with the employees about guns and the beautiful Jack Russell Terriers behind the counter. They had an excellent selection and were very knowledgeable. Prices seemed very reasonable as well. They are also able to transfer eligible firearms to CA, so that's a plus as well if you want to buy a gun here. read more

I brought in several guns i Inherited to sell on consignment. I relied on the gals expertise to price them. She said they made a percentage and understood they needed to make a profit of the sale. I knew from internt search a had a pistol that was advertised for 1k but from her book she said 650. Couple weeks went by i came back to pick up guns she said she had the pistol sold for 650. Got home they had it listed for 950. She took my her percentage at 650 plus what they listed way beyound....Initilally what i thought. Becareful something dishonest going on here read more

We are traveling through AZ and needed a few AR magazines. We called the first Gunshop on Google and noticed that it was less than a mile from where we are eating breakfast. We called to make sure they had magazines in stock and the lady that answered was extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!! The shop parking lot was very easy to get in and out of (that was a HUGE deal for us considering we have a 39' RV and inclosed trailer!!) and a VERY CONVENIENT location off of the main streets and the hours are very "traveler" friendly!! The shop was super cool with about 100 different taxidermy animals! They had everything we needed and more!! Very friendly people... AND GREAT PRICES!!!!This is definitely one of our MUST STOPS while traveling!!!! read more

People working there are very helpful and knowledgeable. Reload supplies, hunting gear, AR15, Rifles, Handguns (revolvers, polymer/semi-auto), gun accessories, ammo and lots of puppies :) I bought my Glock 17 from there and could not be happier! My purchase took less than 20 mins. Its sort of a small place. First timer of purchasing a firearm. I was NOT Intimidated at all. Will be back. Thank pistol parlor! read more

Gary I hope that this finds you. I came in Monday to have a colt model 80 .380 mustang +2 because the sear had been broken. Your front desk employee was no help saying that if you guys couldn't find a sear than it was basically a paper weight, far from the truth. You are a custom gun guy so what's the problem ruffs guns took 5 minutes to find out I had a ton of options anything ranging from using a sig 238 sear which fits perfectly buy a sear that needs fitted or send the gun back to colt, we sent it back in free of charge. Unfortunately I used to purchase ammo from you and so did my friends or anyone I sent that way. Now I'm under the impression you can only engrave outrageously priced Kimbers and have no smiting experience whatsoever which I know to be untrue. So instead of calling me back just to say hey its probably better you go somewhere else, instead of just leaving me in limbo and never returning my call. I never expected the part to be at your shop day of and for you to say that over the phone make me think you only deal with mass produced guns which quite frankly is sad. Perhaps ill revisit but for now ill not be recommending your business to anyone. read more

I drove up to check out a "new place" that I've not been to. I needed some information on pistol ammunition, a specific semi-auto and reloading gear. I talked to the owner, a woman, that identified herself by saying "it's my shop and my opinion is what counts, not yours..." cutting me off before I could even finish my comment. First off, she was rude and had a very cocky, know it all tone and attitude. I've been buying and selling guns for 15+ years. I own three AR15's and two AR10's, a .338 Lapua and seven pistols, all semi-autos, one revolver, a S&W 500 magnum (.50 Cal) beast. The gun stores in Chino Valley go out of their way, even checking supplier's websites when they need to. All without the attitude. Flagstaff is a 90 minute drive - one way for me. I sure as hell didn't need to drive for 3 hours there and back, to talk to a rude woman that says "her opinion is the only one that matters". What a load of crap! If you can, just go to Chino Valley!!! Visit "Mazy's" or "Tombstone Tactical" for a great selection of guns, ammo and gear, without the "I'm right and you not" attitude, typical of rookie's out to prove something!! I suspect my knowledge on guns and ammo was taken as a challenge that intimidated her. Avoid the place and don't waste your time and gas to drive up from the Chino area!! read more
