A local distillery for bourbon in Sedan. KS. Our cousins who live in Coffeyville told us about it.

We chatted with her grandpa who eats there a few times each week. Her banker, farmer, entrepreneur father, who grills the steaks, came out to say hi, too. Other times when we have eaten there, my spouse and I have enjoyed the steaks and various potato preparations; all delicious. Tonight, being Thursday night, we chowed down on Kat's homemade lasagna, asparagus, and house salads. Everything was scrumptious. Our server was very attentive, and we had another wonderful meal. The decor features many authentic photographs that depict life in this small town through the decades. Kat's grandma, bless her soul, captured a sense of understated elegance that makes the restaurant a home away from home.

Wife had the steak kabobs with grilled carrots. We both had leftovers for at least another meal. The owner who also cooks the steaks stopped for a visit. We finish with the cherry cobbler which had ice cream. Everything was excellent. We love the restaurant because it looks classy and unlike other steakhouse is quite so you can talk. The second server was friendly and did a outstanding job.

Just a few examples: Shawarma to Stitzel, and Spring rolls to Bao Buns. Some of her favorite ethnic foods from around the world. A big beef patty with cheese, dressed with L,T,P&O. A side of crispy fries completed the basket. I noticed something different about the burger on the first bite. The tomato. The tomato had an unmistakable home-grown flavor. If you know, you know. I asked. Sure enough, grown in her husband's garden. An excellent burger. Great food, great owner and from looking at the pictures a fun place to spend the evening.
