I've never had a primary care provider who did such a thorough initial assessment. I'm able to easily get an appointment, visits were on time and Dona takes her time to address my concerns. I had been unwell for over 6 months and no one could figure out why. Dona was able to order testings, refer me to specialists and we finally figured out why I was sick. I've had some chronic health issues that no other providers cared to treat. Now I'm on meds to manage my symptoms. Centered Health also has TENS pain relief therapy that really helped me with neck and back pain. I also get Vitamin D3 and weekly weight management injections. Give Centered Health a try. I went to Walmart where the prescriptions were to be sent on August 14, 2019, and they didn't have them and Walmart said that they would get in contact with the Pahrump SMA and have the scripts filled. Each day, I either went to Walmart to see the status or called SMA to see the status or went to the clinic to get a paper copy. I called or visited every week day from August 13 to August 30, and I never got my prescriptions due to Southwest Medical Associates not sending the prescriptions. Additionally, I was never able to speak to the doctor or the supervisor of the Pahrump SMA clinic. Finally, on August 31, a Saturday, I went to Las Vegas SMA urgent care to get my prescriptions as the Pahrump clinic is M-F. I am being billed for the $40.00 co-pay despite telling the Las Vegas Urgent Care the problem and that I should not have to pay it. I got a bill and believe that I sent them a letter and now I am getting past-due notices. I called the billing department, who had no authority to do anything and would only transfer me to the supervisor. I hung up and hoped to speak to the Pahrump supervisor and they would only let me talk to customer service, who took all the information and said that they would get back to me within 24 business hours. Waiting to see what happens. I will never use Southwest Medical Associates again because of the roadblocks that they put up.

Recently I learned my past 2 PCPs were overdosing me with medications. Even the Pharmacists never said a word about the high dosages Rx'd. This town's medical care sucks big time. I wonder if Vegas is any better at this point. All I know is Intermountain Health isn't worth anyone's time, much less considerations Stay Away for your own safety.

I scheduled an appointment specifically to establish care for my 3yr old son. At no point during scheduling was I informed that their providers do not see pediatric patients for ongoing care but for episodic events solely. There were 3 opportunities for them to clarify they DO NOT provide the services we were seeking. We were checked in, charged, and seen by the provider, only to be told during the visit that she could not help us because she does not provide the type of pediatric care we were seeking and " would not know which labs to order for his specific demographic", I genuinely appreciate the honesty and accountability from the provider as a medical professional myself. Had this been communicated when the appointment was made ( 2 separate accounts) we would never have scheduled the visit. To make matters worse, when we contacted the office afterward to express our concerns and request a refund, we were told that "services had been provided". While we technically met with the provider, the purpose of the appointment could not be fulfilled from the start. We left without establishing care and without receiving the service we scheduled. What was most troubling was the unprofessional way our concerns were handled. Rather than listening and attempting to resolve the issue, the conversation became emotional and confrontational by the billing department (Amanda); ultimately showing greed instead of appropriate patient-centered care. Mistakes happen, but accountability and professionalism matter. Families seeking care for their children deserve accurate information before being charged 100$ for an appointment. I will NOT be recommending them to any of my patients moving forward. If proper facility management was conducted this review would have never existed.

He also has depression which he has no medication for the depression so he is depressed! He's waited patiently for over 2 mos. to finally see Dr. Michelle Stacey and yesterday when he finally got into see her, she finds his heart rate to be 35 which is normal for him ( he's always had asymptomatic bradycardia ... all his life! ) so she does an ECG and misreads the ECG and misdiagnoses him to be in 3rd degree heart heart block ! She FAILED to simply LOOK AT HIM AND SEE HE IS NORMAL, he's walking , talking , works a job which is physically taxing... every day ... and SHE DID NOT LISTEN TO HIM when he told her ... this is my NORMAL ... then she FAILED to check his history which clearly states that he has already been worked up several times by cardiology at St Rose Hospitals for asymptomatic bradycardia and found this to be normal for for him, Plus she herself has been his Dr for several years now, & has seen him in her office previously with asymptomatic bradycardia ! Dr Michelle Stacey looked at my X-husband ( who is not dizzy and had not even one single symptom, he had no chest pain and is walking and talking and physically, HE HAS NO CARDIAC SYMPTOM ) and she told him he would " DIE IF HE DID NOT GET INTO THE AMBULANCE AND GO TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE SHE HAD A CARDIOLOGIST READY AND WAITING for him to have an EMERGENCY PACEMAKER placed in him!" She said that if he would not get in the ambulance, then he needed to sign an AMA ( Against Medical advice form ) and she would then refuse to take care of him! ) So he gets in the ambulance which takes him just blocks away to the hospital ( Siena ) where they do a complete Cardiac work up on him and find the same diagnosis that they found 3 years ago ... "asymptomatic bradycardia" And they did another ECG on him and found him to have absolutely NO HEART BLOCK , and a NORMAL bradycardia ECG ! He went back to Dr Michelle Stacey so he could get the care he's waited for now for greater than 2 months and her Nurses tell him " SHE's TOO BUSY TO SEE YOU NOW!" No Apology ! No Care ! But her people said that she'd call in some prescriptions for him... as of today... no prescriptions called in!!!! BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR ! SHE IS A DISGRACE TO HER PROFESSION!!!
