He has been my father's cardiologist for the past couple of months and we are beyond pleased with him. He is very through with all of his patients and spends a great deal of time explaining, listening, and being present with his patients. I didn't realize doctors like him existed anymore! At the end of each visit with my dad, he makes sure we understand the plan of care and we are in agreement. His office staff are very pleasant and a good representation of the practice he runs. I would highly recommend Dr Sheikh for any of your cardiology needs.

In some cases this is great if you're sick, but can adversely affect the current appointments for that day For me, it's more important to find a doctor who will prescribe needed orders and medications than wait times. So I've just managed expectations on that front. I understand some others may feel different.

She caught something I had very early on and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have had a chance get into a program which had a very short time Window to help me.. It wasn't obviously apparent what was wrong she gave me every test she could to find out how to help me. Her entire office is so efficient so kind so empathetic and so helpful. She switched me to Melissa in the MD's office who was even worse than Tasha. She had major attitude and refused to give me an appointment but gave me the number for the billing dept 954-351-4702 ( in case anyone else needs help) Phyllis in billing confirmed that my insurance was ok and pulled up records of my previous visits. She called the MD's office and they did not answer. I feel sorry for people who are ill and trying to get medical care from this organization. I reminded them I was self-pay, so there was no need for my Driver's License. (I've been told insurance companies require doctor offices to be able to prove a patient's identity). Person: It's the law. Me: It's a law that I have to give a doctor's office my driver's license? Person: Yes, it's the law. We have to verify your identity. Me: I told you who I was. Person: We need to verify it. Me: None of my four other doctors have required my driver's license. Person: That's our protocol. Me: So is it a law? Person: It's our protocol. Me: I'm confused, is it a law? Person: I don't know. Me: I'm not comfortable giving my social security number or a copy of my driver's license when it's not needed.
