Very Good Chiropractor- Hard to find someone that really knows what he's doing- Great Office and Great Staff

If you have any ribs out, Dr. Gus is YOUR MAN!!! I'm so glad I found him. Before my visit, I was having intense back pain, which was caused by my ribs being out. Even though I work from home, I almost called out because I just couldn't concentrate due to the pain. It hurt to move, sit and breathe. Instead, I headed out to see Dr. Gus during my lunch break. Dr. G prepped my muscles before the adjustment. He massaged them out so that my body would be more responsive to the adjustment. Sure enough, he adjusted me and I heard them all adjust back into place. It was amazing! He said several ribs on my left were out of alignment (like four) and a couple on the right. I had IMMEDIATE RELIEF!! I was so happy. I could take deep breaths again, move freely and was ready to finish my day at work. He even double checked using another method to ensure they were all back in place. I'm so glad I went to him. I believe if I had gone to another chiro, I would not have had the same relief. My ribs come out a few times a year. I travel a lot and have been to SEVERAL chiropractors. When I called, all the chiropractors told me they adjust ribs. Their adjustments would provide some relief and they'd tell me that they adjusted them but I knew "they didn't get them all"...and I often left feeling incomplete. I would typically have to return for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th visit (which I felt was reasonable), find another chiro or live with it. So, I was thrilled to walk out of Dr. G's office pain free from one visit! I'm so thankful for Dr. G. He saved my time, he saved me money and he saved me from intense pain. As for rib pain...hopefully you'll never experience it but depending on how many are out, or which ones are out, it could be excruciating. All the things that normally feel good (like foam rolling, deep breathing, rolling on a ball, massage) don't feel good and won't relieve the pain. Breathing hurts, especially taking deep breaths. Getting out of bed was the worst...I had to give myself a pep talk before getting up. Twisting and turning was super painful as well. The pain feels gnawing, sticky, and Wicked. Before going through the process of chiro hopping, I'd recommend saving yourself time and money and going to Dr. G first! read more

Wow, is all I can say! My back had been hurting for a couple weeks and I was having trouble sleeping due to the pain. Yesterday morning, at about 11:15, I called and talked to Crissy who told me they had an opening for 12:30, if that worked for me. When I got there I was impressed with how nice the office looked. Crissy gave me a couple forms to fill out and got me right in to see Dr. Gus. When he came in I described my symptoms and previous experience with chiropractic care (about 40 years worth). After a few minutes of dialogue, Dr. Gus went to work on my back. He started by applying some liniment and massaging my very tight muscles. After getting things loosened up, he went about adjusting my spine from top to bottom. I came away feeling like new. Not that Dr. Gus needs another amazing review, but I feel compelled to try to help anyone suffering with any issues. I've been in 2 major car accidents and continue to add numerous sports related injuries. I'm holistic, generally never go to a doctor, and don't believe in the Western medicine philosophy, very hesitant to try anything that was forced or where I couldn't heal my own body. I found him after my second car accident and 4 months of excruciating pain. I refused to get steroid shots and take pain meds, but I had hit my limit and I wanted my active life back. I have been to so many chiropractors throughout my life. The last one was an upper cervical chiropractor and after four years, I saw little improvement and eventually the adjustments stopped holding. After my first visit with Dr. Gus, I knew my situation would improve. He gave me so much confidence and reassured me that I did not have to suffer and live in pain and discomfort. In the past, after being adjusted I would experience terrible headaches for at least 24 hours. My sister-in-law was visiting from out of town and threw her back out after taking her daughter to Disneyland and carrying her all day. Come Saturday morning, she could barely move. I called around to a few places and it seemed like most places could not see her because they do not take new patients or were full. Chrissy told me they were full, but told me to leave my number in case anything opens up. Within an hour after first calling, she called me in and we went straight there.
