My daughter and I arrived at 8a.m, checked in and was asked to complete my online forms which I completed in 5 minutes. I let her know I was done and she said the other staff member would get me set up. We waited in the lobby for 50 minutes. During that time, every other patient who walked in after us was called back within five minutes. Eventually, I approached the front desk to ask when I'd be seen, only to be told they were waiting on me to complete the new patient forms. I had actually filled them out right when I arrived and notified the staff, but apparently, there was a lack of communication. Because of the delay, I had to leave without being seen--despite being in constant pain and having scheduled this appointment a month in advance. I also had my daughter's appointment scheduled right after mine, which we had to cancel as well. I requested my ID and insurance card back and left disappointed. Dr. Rose clearly has a very busy practice, but it's frustrating when poor administrative coordination prevents patients from receiving care--especially those who arrive on time and are in need. A suggestion for the front desk staff: If you're holding a patient's ID and insurance card, and they're expected to complete online forms, check in with them after a few minutes. A quick confirmation could avoid unnecessary delays like this one. It was very disheartening to watch every other patient be seen while I sat there unknowingly overlooked. I took time off work. Unfortunately, I'll need to find another orthopedic specialist. I had high hopes for this visit, but I left feeling dismissed and upset.

While I understand that patients are responsible for knowing their insurance benefits, I also expect a basic level of communication and customer service from a medical office. A clinic should have a system to track the number of authorized visits and alert patients when they are approaching or exceeding their coverage limits. Instead, I was left feeling like the responsibility was shifted entirely onto me for an issue that could have been prevented with better internal tracking and communication. It is frustrating to receive good clinical care but have such a disappointing experience with the administrative side.

My relationship with him started in April 2023 after suffering a level for AC Joint separation from an inline speedskating crash. He was very conservative and did not initially recommend surgery which I very much appreciated. After further review and discussion we decided that surgery was necessary to put my right shoulder back together. The surgery and the follow-up PT he recommended was perfect. My right shoulder is fully functional. In July 2025, I suffered an broken clavicle and scapula of the right shoulder from a cycling accident. Went back to Dr. Petrie. He again evaluated my condition very conservatively and advised that surgery was not necessary this time. In fact, I think the surgery he did in 2023 made the shoulder stronger so the injury was to unrelated areas, i.e. the clavicle and scapula. We did multiple follow ups to ensure the clavicle and scapula were healing well. Back on the bike again. Dr. Petrie is on my speed dial as, while I'm 69, I'm still cycling like a youngster and may need his care again. Would not consider anyone other than Dr. Petrie.

On a followup before my MRI the doctor didn't even remember he had ordered the MRI and was mad that he thought someone else had ordered it. And until I showed him the order, that had his name and signature on. After my MRI I allowed them to push my appointment back and reschedule me for another week later cause the doctor was gonna be out. Then now 2 weeks later they tell me they don't have my MRI and don't know why, so they would request it. After that I get another call back saying they don't even have anyone that would be able to read it for me cause no other doctor in their practice can take the 5-10 minutes to let me know what it shows. So now I have to be delayed further, looking for a new orthopedic after I have already spent over a month using this office. Usually when a business apologizes for the inconvenience they cause, that business tries to step up and fix things. They wanted to do nothing but wipe their hands of things and not do a thing to help get me taken care of. If I had known this was the type of place in the beginning I woulda never have chosen to use them, over all the other better choices my workers comp gives. I SHOULDA GONE STRAIGHT TO KERLAN-JOBE and DOCOTR KHARRAZI, which so many firefighters have used. Just seems like this place is over hyped and not worth it. With as many doctors that show at this location seems like it's just laziness for no one to step up and help.

It's rare to find a truly top tier orthopedic dr (and who has been head team doc for the Chargers, etc) who will take so much time to do a detailed exam, very thoroughly review the MRI, and in general take his time and be thoughtful. I very highly recommend Dr Gazzaniga. His staff was great as well.

I can"t truly thank him enough for how much he has assisted my 15 yr old with an injury he has endured for over 8 months. We tried everything from 37 PT sessions with 3 different PTs, MRI, 3D ex rays, Cortisone injection, visits to an orthopedic surgeon, 8 blood tests. ibeen some highs some lows with tears in between. I started seeing Dr. Wishmyer a little over a month ago for issues with my hip and leg. I struggled to walk without a limp for the past two years after a femur break and change to my hip alignment. Dr. Wishmyer has helped realign my hips and adjusts my hip joint and knee to help with pain management. I began walking normally again from the start of my treatments with him after previously continuing to limp with other chiropractors. He also gives your spine a full adjustment from the neck down in order to give your body the best release and alignment. All of the staff, including the two girls up front, are welcoming and warm and help you with any questions you may have. She truly cares about her patients' spinal health, posture, and overall wellness. My first visit with her was incredible--she spent an hour and a half educating me on my spine's health, took X-rays, and explained the importance of spinal alignment for overall well-being. Unlike other chiropractors who make random adjustments without x-rays, she works with intention. I'm so grateful to have found a doctor I can fully trust and hope to continue my journey with her as I address my severe gut issues.
