Gus's New York Pizza is my home away from home. Being from New York - while visiting the area, I was craving some authentic New York pizza and landed in the right spot. Everything here is super fresh - and so tasty. I especially love their garlic cheese bread and salads. The wings are juicy and crispy and I love the mango habanero sauce for little kick. You must try one of the speciality pizzas - we really enjoyed the white pizza but also got a regular slice with pepperoni. The burgers are really juicy with the perfect amount of char and we really enjoyed the crispy fish wrap too - actually one of my favorite bites of the night. Aside from the food being really good. The owner is so super friendly as we all our servers - everyone went out of their way to make a time the extra special. This visit was a major let down. Normally the food is really good but this wasn't the normal quality of Gus's pizza. My mom and I went there yesterday I had gotten an individual pizza with mushrooms and she had gotten an individual pepperoni pizza. Once our food had arrived my order came as it should have been but my mom's order came out wrong. She had received a plan cheese pizza and it was sent back. When the pizza arrived it was obvious that all the cooks did was put pepperoni on the already made pizza instead of making a new one. It was sad that the best server working that night didn't take care of us because it would totally be a different experience. I'm going to start off by saying I'm a regular and I'm not using my real name to avoid conflict. I went in a few times this week and sat at the bar like I always do. I noticed there's been some changes made behind the bar. The service is terrible. I came in last night (1/31) and sat at the bar. The bartender had a bad attitude and other people at the bar were also voicing the same opinion. It's unfortunate when you come to an establishment that has always had great bartenders and great service and then changes are made that disrupt the whole atmosphere. I was ignored and I felt like a burden to be there. I really don't want to go back. The 2 girls that were always behind the bar were a big reason I've come in for so long and it's the same for others as well. it's just a disappointment. I hope this puts things in perspective from a regulars point of view. I really don't know i'll be back. And lastly, I've never been to a restaurant that allows the employees to vape inside and behind the bar. read more

The hubs and I enjoy picking up pizza here when no one feels like cooking. They are also available on DoorDash and maybe ubereats. There's a small bar area with seating available upon entry in addition to a large family style table by the door for bigger parties. The times that we went in for a drink it was semi busy as there were 2-3 waitresses taking orders and bringing out the food. Locals come in for food and conversation. There is plenty of tasty options to choose from on the menu. Their wings are great, crispy, and fried fresh. Fish and chips were rock hard, and I'll be passing on that in the future. Bacon cheeseburger was ok, but the bacon was forgotten, and the cheese was more in the wrapper than the meat. Their slices of cake are awesome! It's a must order whichever one you choose. I've had the chocolate and banana slice, and it's just moist with amazing flavors. Onto the pizza. Some people like the crust thick and the hubs enjoys filling up on a little more bread so he definitely gravitates to Gus Pizza. I wouldn't say this is NY style pizza. It does have the large factor, but not the thin, and foldable edge crisp. The cheese is thick and chewy. There is an automatic 18% gratuity applied to your check regardless of how many is in your party when dining in. There is also another option below the automatic gratuity for adding additional tip. The pizza is delicious! Perfect size for a personal pizza. Be warned there isn't much sitting space though.

First off, I was impressed with our server's attentiveness despite our choosing to sit outside at the tail end of the lunch specials period. I'm sure she had plenty of inside prep duties to attend to yet still managed to return to us multiple times during our visit. Outside, we got to sit next to a mural of various New York cultural iconography but was bemused by the presence of Batman and Superman in the mural despite every nerd worth their weight knowing neither hero is a New Yorker. Lol. My food was great. The beef and lamb gyro was loaded and tasty. My potato salad was subtle in its flavor but really good... and a hearty sized portion. Wife Unit liked her sub but thought she preferred another locations slightly better. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy Gus's pizza. We have one near our house and order ALL the time. I went out this way and called in an order to go. The women said it would be about 15 minutes for the pizza. I arrive about 12 minutes later. I sent my daughter in to grab it with cash.. she walks out with just the pizza. I said where is the change? She said the cashier said that was all, just the pizza. I said no go back in to get the change. The lady gave the $5.25 change to my daughter. The pizza was $14.75...
