Hold the heck up!!!!! WOW. Listen, I really don't give 5 star reviews very often, but Cork and Crust definitely earned it! I came here with a friend after a random Trader Joe's excursion and we were hungry, looking for food that was in the area at ~8:30pm. Boom, enter Cork and Crust (thanks, Yelp!). I will tell you that the location is a bit small, and seating may be a bit tight depending on how many you have in your party and how much food you're ordering. However, there were two of us and we sat at a 2-seater in the back of the restaurant, both ordering pizzas and drinks, and we were fine! We were able to sit wherever we wanted (it wasn't busy, just a few folks in at the time), and the staff was SO SO SO friendly and accommodating. Big time family vibes. Promise and Trish took care of us (and our shenanigans) for the evening, and they were so great! We were so conflicted (mostly my friend LOL) on what to order, so we had lots of questions and just general foolishness. The ladies were so helpful (especially Promise) in literally pulling up a chair and sitting down with us to discuss the menu and answer all of our questions. We ended up ordering the lamb sliders for our appetizer (came with 2), and they were so so good (I am not a lamb fan), although just smidge moist (you have to eat them fast so the meat doesn't soak through the toasted brioche bun). We also both ordered a drink (that I literally cannot remember the name of - Flying Dutchess??? IDK! Don't be mad with me! LOL). But it was somehow like a lemon ricotta cheesecake, but in a cocktail. I can't explain it to you, but you should try it. SO SMOOTH (also from a person who does not like alcohol). It's like a vanilla, earl grey, lemon vibe and it is such an interesting drink with a smooth transition through flavors. 10/10. I ordered the Bianca 5- 'The Anthony Bourdain' Pizza (sub the mortadella because I don't eat pork, with pineapples), and let me tell you somethingggg! That dang gone pizza was SO GOOD. My friend ordered the Bianca 10 (I didn't try this but she said it was delicious). My friend was so impressed by the food and just the experience overall that she asked the ladies if she could talk to the Chef, so he came over (very nice and humble human), and he explained a bit about how they design the menu and what kind of foods they use. So interesting and honestly just such a cool vibe. I will also offer that the restrooms are gender-neutral and clean! They also have baby changing stations in them, and they have feminine products as well (how considerate!) I will DEFINITELY be back here because this place was just so cool. I really enjoyed it, and this is also coming from a person who would NEVER choose pizza as a first option for food! I intend to check out some of the pastas on the next visit!

Hubby and I came back for dinner in house.. OMG. This paired with their Riesling was sooo delicious. Didn't get pics of the app or hubby's shrimp and mussels pasta, but it was divine. Service was spot on, and it is cozy with a quiet vibe after 8pm.

UPDATE February 2026: Finally stopped in for dinner. I came in for the highly recommended meatloaf...had a house salad, their Hawaiian pizza with an adult beverage. Food quality was very good to excellent. Service was very good considering they were very busy (every seat was taken) with just two wait staff persons. No changes to the interior since my first visit. This place is a gem and you just need to go!

I'm a little torn and wish I could do a 3.5. One pizza was good and one couldn't hold the toppings and there was only two! We tried a white pizza (I believe the number 3 without mushrooms) and that held the toppings well. The red sauce pizza that had sausage and pepperoni and the toppings fell off the pizza when we tried to eat it. Service was okay as well. The one lady was more kind and one didn't seem happy to be working there. It was also a little warm inside. Maybe a little ac issue? Not lots of seating inside, maybe about 12 tables and a five person bar area. Little tight for seating as well.

Southern Cesar salad - small size

My husband and I had a lovely dinner tonight! I've been excited to try this relatively new restaurant after discovering it on Instagram. The first time I attempted to dine in was on a Friday night and it was busy! I learned that dining room and bar is relatively small- so reservations are encouraged. We got a seat at the bar shortly after 7 on a Thursday, two of five seats! They have a fantastic cocktail menu that my husband loved. We started with a small southern Cesar salad which blew us away- very unique flavoring on a classic. We both commented how we couldn't get that anywhere else and how great the cornbread croutons were. For dinner, we tried the Warwick pizza... again great tasting, good ingredients. For dessert we tried the honey bun bread pudding. It was good but could have been made heavenly by introducing some creamy element (ice cream, icing, etc.) we agreed we could take a smaller portion size if it meant getting a little something to top it off! Notable drinks were the Elvis old fashion and the strawberry bourbon smash. I'm curious to try even more items on their menu next time! The pasta dishes looked great. The bartender and staff were polite and attentive, really all around a good dining experience. We will be back!

This was our first visit. We decided to stop by one day after we noticed it driving by. It was freaking delicious!!! My husband and I shared the Chicken and Pancetta Amatriciana. The portion was large enough to fill us both up! The place is small but intimate. The only seating available when we arrived was at the bar so we sat there. When a table became available they asked if we would like to move, but we were already comfortable at the bar. We will definitely be back!

    Watermelon on the charcuterie board

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now.. I used to think they were not open a lot because the interior looked so dark from the outside -- even today when walking up to the door it looked closed despite the lit open sign. Don't be like me... just go and walk in, no regrets b except that I hadn't come in sooner! We got the charcuterie board to start, all the selections were very fresh. The prosciutto was delectable. The watermelon (I believe was pickled) was surprisingly delicious. Like many things new if it doesn't look familiar you have your guard up. Again don't be like me- eat the charcuterie watermelon immediately. For drinks we had a Sly Clyde original cider poured and a Takumi Spritzer- I can speak to the drink, very light and refreshing with just the right amount of alcohol. We ordered the blackened shrimp risotto and pork belly and waffles. The risotto was good, the blackened tuna was a bit peppery. Still delicious. The shrimp were fat and juicy- some of the best I've had in recent memory. The pork belly and waffles had a great presentation. The pork was juicy but not greasy- I know some pork belly can be that way. The waffles had a little sweetness to them and just the right amount of crunch. The goat cheese topping, blackberries and drizzled honey were perfection in combination. Highly recommend this dish and would absolutely order again. Both ladies who took care of this evening were friendly, and gave great recommendations and their feedback on things they have had. No complaints at all on service. Be sure to check their hours as of this review their hours are Tuesday to Thursday 4-10pm Friday 4-10pm Saturday 12-11pm Sunday 12-8pm If you follow their Facebook you can find the hours, current menu and some delicious content of some of their dishes. My hats off to the chef at this location- I want to try everything on their menu. Whoever their Chef is- needs to be on Top Chef, cause one of the best dishes I've had in a while.

Vane in from fishing trip, wanted good pizza, some locals recommended. This place is a gem. Excellent service, exhibition kitchen so we sat at the bar. Barmaid made great drinks but my can cider was dry not sweet as expected. The pizza was sun-dried tomatoes Quattro formaggi was delicious. Hands off to pizza maker, good sauce, crust , and cheese. Barmaid forgot to add the onions but was good nevertheless. Will be back in a month.

What a wonderful spot for a delicious meal and a cocktail! Great service! Delicious pizza..they have a plethora of white pizzas which I adore and a fabulous menu. Glad I found a new local favorite spot nearby. The aromas in this small bistro were delightful making for a very enjoyable ambiance! Highly recommend you give this cozy little gem a try!

    Honey Bun bread pudding

We went to Cork and Crust this past Sunday and it was amazing! We got these three pizzas (Wagyu, New Orleans, and Exotic mushroom with kale), the Bread Board (with amazing corn bread (with a hint of orange) and focaccia and amazing kimchi dashi butter and a mustard type butter. They also let us try their honey bun bread pudding (also amazing)! Great service and the owner/chef (I think his name was Mike) gave us his back story and love for food! New favorite neighborhood spot!

They were also out of the snake river Wagyu ribeye and strip steak. We were told they didn't receive a shipment of meat. The food was really good regardless of that, luckily they had three orders of lamb chops left so some of us ordered the rest of that. I like that when you order a steak it already comes with two sides. Other steakhouses you would have to order sides à la carte. The cocktails were amazing and service was great. Only thing that was a little weird was we had two birthdays and asked the manager if they happened to do a complimentary birthday dessert or something for the two birthday guest. He responded politely with we don't do any birthday desserts but you can order champagne since it's a celebration. Mind you it's a party of 12 and each couple's bill was at least 250+. Nonetheless, we had a great time and money was well spent, definitely worth trying out!

The food was seasoned to perfection, with portions that were completely satisfying. The wine pairing was exquisite, and Alexa's recommendation was spot-on. The house brownie-cheesecake was also outstanding--rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overpowered by chocolate. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by a mistake with our appetizer, the Duck Confit. Alexa handled the situation professionally, courteously apologized, and did everything within her ability to address the issue. However, I was disappointed that the restaurant manager never came to our table to personally acknowledge or apologize for the mistake. To make matters worse, there was no acknowledgment or farewell from the host as we exited. This was my wife's birthday dinner, an occasion that deserved a higher level of attention and hospitality from the management team. Alexa demonstrated what exceptional customer service looks like, but the lack of management follow-through and acknowledgment ultimately affected our overall experience. For these reasons, Steak & Tonic receives 3 out of 5 stars from us. The food and Alexa's service were excellent, but management's handling of the situation fell short of the standard I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Very disappointed with the management Team. V/r, Eddie Velez evelez.131@outlook.com

The food, as it should be is the star of the show. I ordered the Duck, which was the best duck I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Some places can over cook it in an attempt to get that crispy skin, but here it was cooked to perfection. The skin was crispy, meat flavorful and juicy, and not overly greasy. The sweet potato puree was excellent and elevated the meal. The drinks menu was really good. Our friends are Wine Connessiuers and we're impressed with the selection. Not a Connessiuer myself, though I do enjoy a nice red every now and then, our selection was really good. This has been high on my "want to try" for a long time and finally saw an opportunity with an available reservation, went for it and am so happy I did. I dined solo, which I rarely do, but this was the perfect place for it. It was apparent that most people dining were regulars. The owner was chatting with just about everyone and diners were popping over to other tables to say hello, as well. Felt like a very small town. Service was perfect - not overbearing, but perfectly timed for a good flow throughout dinner. Their menu changes often, so some of the items I loved, may not be available - but it does seem like their fried oysters are a mainstay and holy moly, they were delicious. I had one cocktail - I believe it was called Watermelon Sugar. It had vodka, aperol and fresh watermelon. Refreshing and smooth. I tried two apps: the fried oysters and the bao buns. Both were fantastic. Perfectly prepared, so much flavor. I think that next time, I would stick to the appetizer section and try many rather than getting an entree. I got the scallops, which were delicious, but the apps wow-ed me more. Prices aren't low, but you get what you pay for - really high quality dishes with lots of thought and execution embedded. I don't say this lightly - this has been added to my top 10 list in all of Hampton Roads!

We arrived at 6:30pm for our reservation. We walked in and was greeted and the next gesture was the hostess asking for $10 each. I was a bit blown away because I didn't understand what the $10 was for because we just walked in the restaurant and it was only a handful of people inside including an employee sitting down eating ... and the workers still setting up and what appeared to be the entertainment that was setting up as well. The hostess mentioned entertainment was taking place around 7:30 or 8:00 ... Okay but it was not even close to that time frame so not sure why money was taken or asked for in advance. My bestie and I were going to dine if anything share an appetizer and have a drink ...definitely wasn't going to be there for any entertainment because we both were underdressed so that was a bit of a turn-off but he was excited to try the restaurant so he paid the $20 for us to walk in and sit down. The restaurant was wide open so we decided to sit at the bar instead of a table not sure if he was greeted at the bar because I went to the restroom. Nevertheless I came from the restroom and sat at the bar with him and not even 2 minutes later I was greeted with gnats and the smell of bleach such a turn off not sure what's going on here or what happened but I was ready to go. My bestie wanted to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt but 5 minutes later I still was turned off and was ready to go. Well... go at your own risk. Parking is available on the street as well as a parking garage is available within walking distance. We were in and out by 7pm. $60 spent I order an old fashioned I know I finished that in about 15 seconds because I didn't want anything to get in it so from what I can recall it was good.
