Gusto and Relish is a funny name. I think most people would like it, I just have an aversion to the word "gusto". I just don't like it for no good reason. The shopfront is quite imposing, but inside it's all very light, bright and airy, with big wooden tables for those who choose to sit in. I got a latte and a roll and sausage to go. They make their own sausages, so I really wanted to try them out. Although expensive, it was really nice - the sausages had a little spice to them, which I alway love. The latte was nice and creamy too. The sit in menu looks good - they have soup, open sandwiches and some light meals. There's a specials board too, which I assume changes on a daily basis. It's a very good deli, with passionate owners, just a bit expensive to be eating here regularly.

My escape from New York toasted pastrami and rocket with mustard and pickle. Awesome

This is a gem of a cafe and the best children's menu I have ever seen. The food is excellent. It is a little pricey but worth every penny

First you go down an alley, only to reveal a secret enclave of an antique store, corner shop, and the tearoom. The square itself is fun to explore and great for photos. Once we sat down in the charming tearoom, we were greeted by a friendly and accommodating server. We ordered the afternoon tea. There was a perfect balance of sweet and savory with yummy finger sandwiches and delectable scones with clotted cream and jam. This is a lovely afternoon tea spot for all ages!

I had their house chai and their London fog, both of which were creamy and SO flavorful and served in the loveliest teapots. The finger sandwiches and cakes were also really good and I actually did leave full, as did my travel companions. The servers were friendly and checked in often, and the place itself was actually fairly big (had 2 floors and we sat in a corner on the second floor), but it had a quant feel. The cost per person was reasonable in my opinion at £16 per person for a mini pot of tea and selection of sandwiches and tea cakes. We really enjoyed our experience there and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a lovely afternoon tea!

We also shared a giant endless pot of tea. This place is really a special place, the day's menu is full of charm, and the service is excellent. When I was there, the dining area was quiet with plenty of available seating, definitely not a cramped place! I hope to return sometime, it was a great experience, food and all. I liked it so much I picked up a couple of their shirts to keep the memory.

The wife ordered their "Fisherman" which is pan seared Scottish coley or pollock (for 27 GBP). The battered fish with the chips was more delicately done here and delicious. As an aside I tried several times to find a place here in Glasgow or in Edinburgh that did a "special" fish and chips, that is breaded with crumbs and not battered, but apparently no one does that healthier old school preparation anymore (and I need to inform my old work colleague who hailed from Glasgow and gave me this inside tip that it's not practiced anymore). I also had a Chieftain IPA. The side of peas were dryish and not flavorful and small portioned and not done as well and tasty as I have had in London or Perth, just saying. We also had their sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert and that was good. The fries were mediocre. Server was friendly and attentive. 4 stars overall and a nice local flavor Glasgow outing.

I also added cheese to make it even more juicy mmmmmmmm The portion is great and the food itself was good! Especially for a hangry person like me. The staff members were kind enough to bring me a whole jug of iced water because it was literally roasting under the sun! That's service right there haha The price was about £12.95 I think. K yes super pricey for a neighbourhood cafe restaurant but at least it was well made. Just don't go over err'day and order a beef burger! I drove past this place a couple of times and me and a couple of colleagues decided to give it a try. The decor is light and airy with a feel of being at the beach (well for me anyway) lots of light blues. It is small and I can imagine could get pretty busy. We arrived and got a lovely window seat. The staff were friendly, helpful and fun. I ordered the cheeseburger minus the bun and it was delicious I especially liked the chillislaw. The tomatoe sauce comes in cute little jars. We all enjoyed our food, the only downside was the price as I feel it was slightly over priced for what we had. Over £10 for a burger. But that aside I will defo go back again.

Oh dear, I've clearly not been paying attention! What I do know is that they have a wee makeover recently and it's worked, because the signage caught my eye and I knew I needed to pop in to check it out. I visited for afternoon tea with Donald M but I'd just eaten, so I only fancied a tea rather than anything to eat. It's a lovely space - the colour scheme is amazing and gives it a pretty cool vibe, very sleek, modern and classy. There's a huge display case of fresh salad items where I assume they can whip you up whatever you fancy. There's bagels, panini, sweet treats and soup - your typical lunch offerings. I opted for a cup of tea - berry - and enjoyed it in the snug window seats which are a great idea. They're padded and cosy and great for people watching and chatting away. The staff on were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and not rushing us when they were getting close to closing time. This is a great spot in Finnieston and would make for a great cafe to pop by for lunch when you don't fancy a sit down restaurant meal in one of the many restaurants along the strip. I'll be back for lunch very soon! Note: they take Swipii card.

I find it a shame that there is nothing different on the menu, as everywhere I go in the area I seem to see the same menu on offer, panini, jacket potato, and soup.
