Food is always good and customer service has gotten better. Great addition to the Northeast side of Columbia.

I had the falafel gyro with fries and a pomegranate soda. I will not have that again though I have searched some of my local markets for the pomegranate soda. Everything was dry and lacked flavor. While the falafel were piping hot, there was no flavor at all. There was just a sheer smear of hummus, one piece of iceberg lettuce and one tomato cut in half along with two or three cut falafel. No red onion or tzatziki sauce which is what made this so dry. The fries were hot though dry (not sure how that happens) and they had OLD BAY sprinkled on them when he asked if I wanted salt, not old bay. The service was prompt and quiet, no engagement which is typical for a bodega. The seating was standard and clean. I was just disappointed in the meal I chose.

I figured this must be a nice restaurant with sit down tables and decent lighting. However, after opening the door it basically looked like a fast food, order at the counter restaurant, with about 6 tables or so with around 6-7 small chairs around each table. There was one person waiting outside and inside there was one person sitting at a table eating. There was one person cooking and nobody to take orders. We stood there and watched him cook for about 3-4 minutes without him acknowledging our presence. Finally he finished cooking, wrapped it up and gave it to the guy waiting. He took our orders one by one and while he was taking the third order a guy came out to do the cooking. This was about 11:20AM. Three of us ordered Lamb Gyros with fries. We had one order for a hamburber, a chicken gyro with fries, two combination paninis and one other chicken sandwich. The three lamb gyros came out first. They were very tightly wrapped in a thin paper and then with aluminum foil. The lamb was good but getting the wrapping paper off was a mess. Very messy to eat (but hey, it's a gyro) but the taste was good. The chicken sandwich came out around 35 minutes after ordering. The hamburger was out at about 30 minutes. It didn't look like much and the bun was like something you'd buy off the shelf at Walmart or local grocery store...nothing special, just a normal ordinary hamburger bun. It was rated as a 2.0 by the guy that ordered it. The fries were good, again nothing special but there were quite a bit with the orders. We weren't very impressed with the restaurant as far as friendliness or ambiance. Our average overall rating for it was a 2.87 so we probably won't make this one of our favorites of the 179 restaurants we've eaten at in the Cola area.

I am writing to formally complain about an experience I had today, August 13, at the Chick-fil-A…read morelocation on Killian Road. This morning, I went inside the restaurant and placed a simple breakfast order. My receipt reflects that I ordered the grilled chicken and egg white breakfast entrée. I paid with my card, received my order, and left the restaurant to travel to class. Unfortunately, because I was already running late, I did not check the contents of the bag before leaving. My class is approximately 30 miles from the Killian Road location. Once I arrived and opened my breakfast, I discovered that I had been given a bacon and egg sandwich instead of the item I ordered. I do not eat pork. Because I was attending a four-hour class and had no other opportunity to get breakfast, I removed the bacon and ate the bread and egg so that I would not have to sit through class hungry. I attempted to contact the restaurant as soon as I discovered the mistake, but no one answered the phone. During a break from class, at approximately 11:00 a.m., I called the location again and spoke with a young lady who identified herself as Nylani Coring and stated that she was a store manager. Unfortunately, her response to my concern was extremely disappointing. Rather than acknowledging that I had been given an incorrect order, one of her first questions was whether I had eaten the sandwich. When I explained that I had removed the bacon and eaten the remaining portion because I was already 30 miles away and sitting through a four-hour class, I was told that because I had eaten part of it, I could not receive a refund, gift card, or any other resolution. I found that response unreasonable. The restaurant made the error, I received an item containing pork that I did not order and do not eat, and I was already significantly inconvenienced by the time I discovered the mistake. I should not then be penalized because I chose to eat the portions of the sandwich that I could eat rather than go without breakfast entirely. What concerned me even more was the manner in which the situation was handled. Ms. Coring was dismissive and, in my opinion, unnecessarily rude during the conversation. When I asked for contact information for the individual listed on my receipt who I understood to be the Owner/Operator, I was told that she could not provide an email address and that I would need to contact corporate. She later stated that she was communicating with a Front of House Director regarding my concern, but she also refused to provide that individual's contact information. The call ultimately ended while I was still attempting to discuss the matter. When I attempted to call the restaurant back, my subsequent calls were not answered and went to voicemail. This situation is no longer about the approximately $5 cost of a breakfast sandwich. It is about customer service and how a legitimate concern was handled. I understand that mistakes happen, and receiving the wrong order alone would not have prompted me to submit a formal complaint. However, I did not expect a store manager to respond to a customer in such a dismissive manner over an error made by the restaurant. I have always associated Chick-fil-A with a high standard of customer service, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I am requesting that someone from the appropriate leadership team contact me regarding this matter and review both the incorrect order and the way my complaint was handled by store management. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from someone regarding a resolution.

They ended up pulling two tables together in the back left with high top chairs to accommodate us. The waitress was great....came out and gave us her recommendations on what was good....she said the lunch special of Ribs and Wings were very good along with a few other choices. Eight of us went for the lunch special while two of the guys ordered something else....a pulled pork sandwich and boneless chicken wings. The lunch special was excellent!!! Everyone was surprised at. how large the wings were and the baby back ribs were done perfectly with a lot of tender meat that pulled right off of the bone. The selection of rubs and dips are tremendous. It came with a side and optional onion rings for another $1.50 or $1.99, not sure. I opted for baked beans, which were done perfectly...served hot and very good tasting. Several of the buys loved the onion rings and I tried one...very good. I ordered my ribs and wings with the Pub dry rub and dipping sides of blue cheese for the wings and a side of regular bbq sauce for the ribs. The waitress came back occasionally to make sure all was fine and to refill drinks if need be. Outstanding service and the food was delivered rather quickly for such a large group. Everyone was really pleased with this dining experience and I'm sure we'll be returning. We almost missed the place due to the front sign being very faded and. hard to read from the front street....fortunately our GPS found it. I definitely recommend that lunch special of Ribs and wings for $10.99! Kudos to the waitress and restaurant on this visit. Our group rating ranged from a 4.0 (for the pulled pork) to mostly 4.5 and 5.0. Average rating was a 4.65.
