    Oreo milkshake

Flavor of the chicken was pretty decent & it was juicy which I like. The fries were okay, some were a bit soggy. I enjoyed the milkshake. It's not a bad size for under $3. Would I come back? Possibly so long as the line isn't ridiculously long. I placed my order online and still had to wait at the drive thru since the dine in area was closed. It does seem like they're more known for burgers though. *FOOD DID NOT COME WITH A DRINK*

Came back to try the milkshake and hot fudge cake. Oreo milkshake is literally all milk. So bad. The hot fudge cake tasted like a Suzy Q and there wasn't much ice cream or cake . Not worth the $7

The cheeseburger reminded me of Sonic. The patty was precooked, not much flavor, and way more bun than meat. It was underwhelming overall.

My food was ready really fast. Which is probably why my fries were not very hot, but they were still good. My burger was great and the lady who took my order at 11 at night was awesome and patient. I've always loved Rushs!

I know, that sounds strange but this chicken Parmesan was one of the best I've ever had. Another great thing was the pasta. Perfectly cooked angel hair. Al dente, not mushy - which is difficult to get right. IYKYK Angel hair overcooks in 30 seconds flat! The 2nd entree blew my mind! It was the smoked and fried half hen. The aroma of this dish when they served immediately had my mouth watering and my tummy rumbling loudly. The crust on the chicken was perfect. Thin and super crunchy with amazing flavor. The meat was tender, juicy and smoky. It was served on top of a crispy cornbread cake studded with fresh corn kernels and fresh jalapeño. The field peas were very well seasoned, and although I didn't see any ham or bacon, I suspect they were seasoned with some sort of pork, but I could be wrong. I was also very pleased to find that they had a Chenin blanc wine on their list that night because it's one of my favorites white wines but really hard to find. Well, I hope you find this review helpful. Both dishes are worthy of being permanently on the menu

I wish I would have asked the server for a new drink because it was bitter even after a shot of pineapple juice. The ginger beer was strong and overall the drink was bad (hence 4 star). Service is always a perfect 10 and it's close to other places to run errands and walk off the food!

Rachel was quick, witty and so sweet and had a way with the kiddos my daughter loved her. We started off with the cast iron goat cheese as the appetizer- solid and even the kids loved it. For our main course my daughter went with the grilled cheese from the kids menu that came with fries and a coke, my son just got a burger with everything but tomato from the regular menu and devoured the entire plate, I was torn between the Mediterranean bowl or the Baja bowl however Rachel recommended the honey harissa bowl with a crab cake and let me tell you it was amazing! Literally tasted so fresh and delicious, my husband was going to go with the steak however they unfortunately were out so he went with his second choice which was the creole shrimp and grits which he cleared the plate but that too was sooo delicious. All in all this place was a solid 5 stars all the way around from, service to atmosphere and flavor and just the freshness of the ingredients they use here. Our waiter recommended drinks for us to start off. I had looked at the menu already so I knew I wanted to try the tuna tostada for an appetizer and my girl got the brick oven broccoli. The tuna was so fresh and melted in your mouth and it was perfect with the chili lemon mayo and capers, giving it a nice pop and spice. The tostada was cooked perfectly and had the nice crunch. The broccoli was cooked well , not hard but not soft and had some spice to it. I ordered the hanger steak with sweet potatoes instead of fries and omg it was so good. I got my steak cooked medium well, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved the Parmesan on top of the sweet potatoes. It was the perfect pair. The drink I got was a white sangria which was sweet but not too sweet. You could def taste the wine and all the fruit flavors. My girl go the oven brick salmon and that didn't miss either. This experience was a 10/10 for me.

The only downside about my born day is the close proximity to Valentine's day. Which can sometimes make the planning around the commercialized love day tricky... especially when it comes to restaurant reservations.... Womp womp. Backstreets Grill said they could accommodate a party of 8. They were clearly busy and with our party size we could understand. Nonetheless, we had a very loonnngggg wait, which was frustrating and deflating. We waited 4x the time the young ladies initially told us upon arrival. However, once we were finally seated things started to turn around slightly. I say slightly because we were seated on the enclosed patio, with a portable heater but several people were cold. Just to think they kept asking us and others if we wanted to sit outside. (It's February @ night). Now the food: Some of the dishes were more favorable than others and I must admit all of my personal choices were great. Appetizers: -Mussels - White Wine (My Order) -Fried Oysters (I tried) -Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna -Lump Crab Dip (I tried) -Tomato Parmesan Soup (My Order) -Side House & Caesar Salads (I tried) I personally had the Mussels, which were perfect, and the tomato parmesan soup and both made you want to lick the bowl. The broths were so good. I tried the fried oysters, they were also very good, but the presentation was a little messy. The Lump Crab Dip and the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna completely fell short and were not memorable at all and both of the side salads were sad. Entrées: -Cajun Chicken Pasta w/ Blackened Shrimp (My order) -Buffalo Chicken Pizza (I tried) -House-made Meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes & vegetables -Pork-chop w/ mashed potatoes & green beans -Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla w/ Fries -Ribeye w/ Truffle Parmesan Fries My sister and I both ordered the Cajun Chicken pasta, I added the blackened shrimp to my order, we were both extremely happy. The dish was not spicy but it was well balanced. The recipients of the Meatloaf, Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the Quesadilla were all also pleased with their dishes. The folks that ordered the ribeye and the two pork-chops were not impressed... the dishes were just ok. Our server Adrian, was pleasant, but you can tell he was very overwhelmed which sometimes didn't translate well. As the night went on we understood he was being pulled in multiple directions at once and he did good despite of it. Overall I enjoyed my celebration and experience @ Backstreets Grill. Just A Note: I notice that they can get busy so be ready to wait. Even smaller parties were forced to stretch their patience.

The menu strikes the perfect balance: an excellent selection of small plates (the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes are addictive) and truly outstanding entrées. Whether you're craving a perfectly cooked filet, fresh seafood specials, or one of their thoughtful vegetarian options, everything comes out flavorful and beautifully presented. Portions are generous without being overwhelming. The bar program is top-tier; cocktails are creative, balanced, and made with premium spirits every single time. The wine list is equally impressive and fairly priced. Service is the gold standard: attentive and knowledgeable without hovering, genuinely warm, and quick to offer great recommendations. They make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. On a nice evening, grab a table on the patio overlooking Five Points. People-watching, string lights, and that lively-but-not-chaotic energy make it one of the best outdoor dining experiences in town. My wife really enjoyed her pork chop because it had the flavor of jerk chicken, full of meat very little fat with large shell macaroni light cheese.
