I found Guiterrez Window Tinting on Yelp. I'm so happy I went there! Having no experience with window tinting -- I stupidly hired someone who said they could do it at my home with inferior store bought product for a small labor fee. It was a disaster. When I called another shop I saw on yelp for an estimate to resurrect the job they made a big issue about that and wanted to charge me extra for removing the adhesive residue. Then I called Guiterrez WT and they said no issue just bring it in. They patiently spent the time I needed to determine the best darkness of tint for my vision issues. Charged me the standard fee with no extras (there was no residue issue). It's a clean shop with a simple air conditioned lobby and TV. Very easy process. Really awesome staff all around. I can't imagine a better place to get your windows tinted! Especially if you're a single woman with little car knowledge. Really stand up guys -- so polite and honest. I'm thrilled. Stay away from Gutierrez Window Tint located at 3140 North 35th Avenue #5, Phoenix, AZ 85017 . They tinted my windows on my truck with a bronze colored tint instead of black tint that was chosen. Took my vehicle back to get it corrected and they refused to fix it or refund money because they said it did not look that bronze to them. Had to pay another tint shop to fix my windows. Brought my vehicle back to them with the fixed windows to show them the difference between the bronze tint they used and the new black tint. Owner asked to see my receipt, then walked off with it and kept it so there would be no record of the transaction. Had to call the police. This is a shady business that has a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, save yourself the headache and go to a professional company that will guarantee their work. read more

I asked for a quote and Gutierrez gave me three choices and I went with High Performance film, (lowest price and the same price I paid for my first tint 11 years ago). He also gives me a quote for removing the old tint but I was cheap so I removed the tint myself after looking it up on youtube. I got the back one out easily but the side windows gave me a lot of troubles because there are a lot of glue left, I spent about 5 hours to complete job. Please let him remove the old tint for you because I don't think it's worth it. I was so happy with the job Guitierrez's team did so I brought another car for him to tint a day after. On my 2nd car, there looks like a couple water drops or air bubbles on the my window so I thought I need to bring car back but after a day, the air bubbles or water drops were gone. I highly recommend Gutierrez and if I could go back I would go with Carbon tint because it has UV protection. Thank you Gutierrez and your team for a job well done! read more
