This is the second time I've used Kenyon for window tinting, both times the services and actual work performed were exceptional. They are easily one of the cheapest in the Valley and do great work. My issue and the reason I'm rating only three stars lies in the communication and responsiveness I received from the owner. I had an appointment for Wednesday 8/5/2026. I dropped off after hours and utilized the night drop box which was no problem. I let the owner know what I needed and that I'd like the invoice sent to my email and the key left somewhere we agreed to because I wouldn't be able to get the car until after hours. He told me about Zelle payments to avoid a fee, I told him I wanted credit card points so he agreed to send me an email invoice and told me all of that was no issue. We texted about a wrap for a different car to which he requested to call me about, we spoke about the wrap and pricing, then I reconfirmed that I will be picking the tiny vehicle up after hours, he said to Zelle him, I informed him again about the invoice and he agreed again. He texted me asking if I could meet him at 5:30 to pick my car up and to Zelle him the money. I informed him for the third time now that I would like an emailed invoice and I was going to pick it up after hours. He then tells me at 5:15 he is driving back to the shop and what time can I pick it up. I told him I am not off work until 5:30, so the earliest I could be there is 6:10. He responds at 5:47 asking if I can be there at 6:30, I text him back saying I'm already on my way and will just wait until 6:30. I arrive at 6:10 and inform him I'm here and waiting until when he is ready for me. 6:30 comes, no response, 6:45 comes, I text him again asking if he is still meeting me here. 7:00 comes and I call him, he asks "Can we reconvene in an hour", I let him know I've already been waiting 30 minutes past the time HE told me to be here, on top of the 30 minutes past drive it took to get here. He finally shows up a bit before 7:30 for me to pick up. He asks me to Zelle again, I inform him once again I am going to be using a card. He tell me the total and I pay. As I'm leaving he asks me when I wanted to do the wrap on the other car, I tell him based on my experience today I'm no longer interested in his services and don't trust that I will be communicated with properly. We talk back and forth, his excuse is that he was spoiling his girlfriend all day and time slipped away from him. He offered to give me a free windshield visor (for my cracked windshield that I already told him I didn't want) and an unknown discount on the wrap I was no longer interested in. The only time any accountability was taken was when I told him there was a problem after the fact, even a 5%-10% discount for wasting my time would have made up for it. This entire situation could have been avoided if he just sent me the invoice before closing, I could have used a spare key to get the car and then just gotten the key later. He was more interested in selling me a wrap and trying to force me to Zelle than actually providing quality service. I'm not asking for you to respond instantly or remember every detail about ever customer but when I ask you to send me the invoice via email and three messages later you ask me to Zelle, it's obvious you aren't paying attention to anything I'm saying. read more

He FaceTimed me to show examples of his work, answered all of my questions, and immediately gave me confidence. Here's the amazing part: I had never met Vincent in person and had never heard of his company before. While my wife and I were spending the summer in Colorado, we handled the entire project remotely. I had my vehicle windows tinted, I requested Nano tint,15% all the way around. Paid extra to have the factory tint removed because the Kenyon technician advised it best. The work was completed and I also paid extra to have my vehicle delivered to my house. Once I received my vehicle, it was obvious that the factory tint had not been removed, just new tint applied over it. The rear tint and front tint do not match at all. Vincent tried to tell me it was because sunlight was coming in from the windshield, this was so absurd. I showed him pictures and it was obvious what had happened. So he began to make excuses that it was my fault for not inspecting the vehicle at the shop prior to delivery. He advised me to bring my vehicle back in, and they would inspect and correct any problems or concerns at no extra cost. However, there is extra costs. Nearly an hour drive one way, time off work, going back to pick it up once finished. Getting an Uber or someone to drive me since I cant drive both there and back. He was ok delivering the vehicle for an extra fee, but now its an inconvenience for him and my problem. My problem, although he has been paid already for a job that was not done correctly, and excuses. I tried so many ways to help them correct this problem and he still pushes it back on me. Again, he is very good at defending himself with excuses and and not taking responsibility for his work. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I'm sorry, your response is weak and still has no resolution for the bad job you did on my vehicle. "Bring it back and we will fix it" That is your response? I spent over $500 to have my windows tinted, it was not done correctly. People take off work to have things like this done, they drive to and from your location, they have to have someone drive them and pick them up once they leave the vehicle in you possession. All this cost $$. Now you want me to do this all over again because of your negligence. And at my expense.. That's the reason you have a bad review. You were paid to bring me my vehicle and agreed to do it. You also were paid and didn't do what you agreed to. Why are you crying? You got your money. They called me, offered a Sunday appointment. I accepted then after they complained that 'Sundays are really hard for us.' Then don't offer a Sunday appointment my guy. I show up drop my car off, the guy there has no idea what is going on. I'm told "it will be ready in a couple hours" While waiting I get notifications that my car has been left unlocked and one of my doors is open. I think 'cool they are working on it now' After a long while my doors are closed up and I think "I'll be getting a call soon"nope. After 4 hours I call for an ETA - the boss has no idea the guy who was meant to work on my truck never showed up. No idea why my car was left open for an hour. He says 'they may have been prepping it' there was no prep work done. Asks if I need my truck back today. Decide to go pick it back up. I get there, nobody is at the shop a mobile detailers shows up and has to search for the keys. (they were hidden somewhere) he opens the shop to get my keys for me. I still don't know why they had my truck open for an hour without doing any work on it (there was no prep work done as far as I can tell) I know the gas tank was a bit lower and my seats were adjusted weird, but I don't want to speculate. The only good part was they gave me my deposit back they were very adamant I give them before the scheduling. The only explanation is 'Sundays are hard for us' I don't know why they suggested a Sunday appointment then. If you're closed on Sunday don't offer those. I really don't want to hear you complain about Sunday appointments if you're the one who suggested I book on a Sunday. --------------- Immediately after I put this review up the owner of this business called me to berate me about making this review. I'll walk you through my experience so you can see what to expect from this establishment. I was looking for a company to tint my windshield. My go to place does not tint windshields in the shade I was looking for. I call and leave a message. I received a call back right away to schedule for the same evening or tomorrow. I booked for the next evening at 5 PM. I show up at 5 PM along with another customer. Both booked for 5 PM. We check in with a guy who is detailing a car and has no idea about our cars being tinted. He calls the guy who owns this place and lets us know the installer is running late because he had a mobile tint job. He shows up at 6 PM and we had to decide who gets the tint first. I decided to wait since my job was going to take longer. The location of the shop is in a sketchy part. There's nothing within walking distance because of the area. Owner insisted we leave the cars but we don't have anywhere without taking an uber and spending more money. I wouldn't want to walk around there in the dark. The installer starts working on my windshield but right next to my car is another car getting detailed. Vacuuming, dusting, etc. Not a good setup for tinting as you want to minimize anything that could create contamination and stick to the film. The installer cuts the film by hand and it takes him a bit to complete the job. The tint shows a lot of bubbles and contamination but the owner says to give it some time. I reach out and the owner says he needs the car all day for a remove and re-install. The job was $175. I can't spend $60 on uber to correct his mistake. I've been taking my car to made in the shade in Mesa and they tint the entire car is 4 hours. No reason to sit on this one all day. I wouldn't recommend getting any tint here as he does many jobs in a very small shop. Go to a reputable tint shop and pay a little more. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned. Sloppy, inconvenient, and unprofessional. Couldn't have had a worse experience. Dropped my car off for tint and when I got home realized they had pushed the button for my seat heater into the center console. Owner wanted to see it, so I drove back to have him tell me I needed to make an appointment to have it fixed. He said he needed two hours, but when I got there in the morning, he then said he needed until that night. So I was out a car two full days for a simple tint job. The tint job itself sucks. The tint on the front accent windows is so sloppy. The corners are not even tinted, and there is a clear gap where you can see the regular windows alongside the tint. When I noticed all this i inspected further and low and behold they damaged the trim below one of the rear windows. They left scraps of tint in my car and each time I picked it up it was dirtier that when I dropped it off. My mistake for going with a vendor 30 miles from home, but ultimately I drove 120 miles, was out a car two days, paid for a real job and got a hack tint job and my car damaged. Stay away. My experience with this company is mixed. I will tell you, the wrap on my truck looks very very good. Vince, the owner is very prompt in his responses as well. They were given my car for a week, and, when I got there, it still was not ready. I waited in their lobby for approximately 3 1/2 hours. I got in my truck when it was dusk and, when I got home, I noticed bubbling and errors that were completely missed. I did have to bring my truck back and leave it there again to be completed. Thank God, I brought my second set of keys, because my keys were nowhere to be found. Overall, as I shared the product was good. Wow, what a sales pitch! Vince promised to match a deal - "We want to earn your business". I sent over the offer and he accused the competitor of lying about the product that was offered and that I should do my research. When he agreed to match the price, he changed the film that he was offering. I did my research on Kenyon's offer and instead of getting a 10 year film as promised, it was changed to a 7 mil, 7 year film. I asked him about this and he said the other deal was a lie (which could be accurate, but had not been verified). I offered to listen to an adjusted deal from him - no one should lose money on a deal. He accused me of not showing for an appointment, even though I clearly stated when I would be there in the afternoon and not the morning. Three times he told me to get lost. I got several quotes and Kenyon was reasonably priced but what really tipped the scales was how personable and polite they were. They weren't pushy but happy to give me honest recommendations for my vehicle. They take great pride in their work, they made sure it was done right and my car looked perfect before getting it back to me. I really do appreciate the time and care they took. Took my brand new Tesla model Y here to have the windows tinted. My appointment was at 9am, arrived at 9:05am, and they didn't start my car until 10am. I chose to wait in the office as the job should've only taken 3-4 hrs. An hour in a half in, I was informed the tech had cracked my driver side window, I couldn't believe it! How disappointed I was. Vincent did arrange to get it fixed same day. However, this is when it turned into a nightmare of an experience. I was told it would be done by a certain time as I informed him I had my kids that afternoon and my son had baseball. Vincent said, "no problem, I'll have it done." He had one of his guys take me home, which I thanked him for and shouldn't have been an issue considering the situation, but it turns out it was as later on Vincent tried using that in his favor. Never heard from him, but sticking with the schedule I informed him I loaded up my kids into an Uber (I spent $45 for) to go back and thinking I was picking up my car. I arrived and got nothing but attitude in front of my kids about my car still being at his glass guy's shop. He accused me of rushing him, which was never the case. I told him I needed it by a certain time and he said he'd have it done by that time. I then proceeded to get the runaround about him needing my car for another 4 hrs after the window got fixed, this just didn't work for me. I agreed to bring it back the next morning. That said, my kids and I then loaded up in Vincent's car to go to his glass guys shop to pickup my car, which we waited there for another 45 mins. Finally, I got my car back. I took it back the next morning and again a late start, however, they got it done. The tint was one of the worse jobs I've ever had and I've had many cars with all of them having the windows tinted. Oh and even after all this he still wanted me to pay him $310, so I essentially paid to have my new unbroken Tesla window replaced with aftermarket glass that I also wasn't happy about and was told it would be original Tesla glass... again not true and found that out by the glass guy. Even after all this, I reached out to Vincent to give him a chance to make right with redoing the tint on all 4 door windows and windshield that all had bubbles and blemishes even after 10 days. The responses I got felt like I was breaking up with a girlfriend, nothing but excuses and aggressiveness. I just didn't want to deal with it anymore and ended up taking it to Scottsdale Xpel Tint who did an amazing job in replacing all the tint and with much better quality. Even they couldn't figure out what kind of tint was put on my car as it came off fairly easy and was super thick than what the normal tint thickness is. Vincent knows this review is coming and most likely will be replying in a condescending way as he has on other negative reviews. He did tell me he wouldn't be bothered by my review because he gets enough Groupon business mostly for details, which is hard to screw up. So BEWARE if deciding to use Kenyon Auto on any car project for you. I really wish there was more I can do than leave this 1 star review, which he doesn't even deserve. read more

I gave this business a chance based on reviews and how quick they could put tint on my car. First install had scratches(hairs) and bubbles so I took it back for a second try. Second install still had bubbles after 2 week curate process and jagged edges on tint. After 2 failed installs I asked for my money back and they claimed it was not their policy but never informed me of that policy or had me sign anything prior to payment or install or after. My experience with them was Terrible. The manager cursed and yelled at me and my wife on the phone and based on his worker he hired, he fights with them and does that to them all the time. I have message proof from the worker which has said he was quitting after he attempts to finish my car , but told me hes not the right person for the job and told Vincent to hire someone else to do it right as Aiden was not satisfied nor was i of the work that he attempted he was hired to do my vehicles stating that he has never worked on the wrap material that i paid for but the manager Vincent  (480) 232-6812 insist just finish the job to keep my money . I asked for refund once he told me they were incapable of wrapping my vehicle but he said you not getting anything back and said he'll just rip the wrap off and keep my money if i was unsatisfied with the product. It was half done and still not finished after keeping my car for 2 weeks . I just want a refund or some money back as this was such a waste of money and i don't know what else to do as the owner refuses to finish the job or give me my money back. also i ask for refund and manager refused . So i was scammed end of the day as i HAD to redeem my groupon voucher and could not request a refund through groupon anymore and manager refused . He assured me me the work was going to be goo but the work that was done looks terrible!!!! this job would require him to start completely over! To rebuttal you called me telling my you ordered the wrong material and then said a ppf person will do the job(didnt). You called me to tell me the material came in , you called me to tell me the estimate was 5-7 days , you told me on day 4 it'll be done day 5 , and you told me it only needed the front bumper done , but as you can see the prep work wasn't done therefore the entire car is peeling.
