One star for probably being the least professional mattress company (Even worse than Mattress 1) I…read morehave found in town. I have purposely waited two days to write this review, so it is just that, and not a rant.
This saga started Thursday when we needed a king bed urgently for one of our vacation homes we manage. As this place is geographically the closest, we decided to give it a shot. It was an off the wall sort of place in a run down strip plaza, but looked OK nonetheless.
We ordered a king set to be delivered to the home, no later than noon on Friday. Elias said that will not be an issue, and that it will likely be delivered same day. ....so, come Friday morning, we start calling customer service as we had not heard from anyone. No call on Thursday, and nothing on Friday to set up or confirm delivery. After 8 calls of nobody answering over the course of two hours, we finally had someone answer to say "they are not accepting calls at the time." Yes. Seriously. Eventually, I was able to get back through to Elias (2pm) at the store. I explained that we needed this bed and that as it had not been delivered and we could not contact anyone, we would need to cancel the order as we are going to just pick one up somewhere. He tried to back peddle and say that he could not and I had to call service. I explained my ordeal and told him that HE would have to call service to cancel or find ETA on bed. If it did not arrive before 3pm, we had to act. We had a check in at 4pm. I told him I would give him 20 minutes otherwise I would consider the order cancelled. So 45 minutes later, I called him back (to his surprise) to cancel, AGAIN. He told me he could not cancel and gave me 4 email addresses to send it to. Apparently, one of them struck.
About 20 minutes later, I received a call from I think Karol. She was not happy. She explained that I could not cancel and I HAD to accept the bed. I explained to her how we were given the runaround, and she pointed me to an invoice they emailed AFTER the purchase stating a 5pm delivery. I again explained we would need to cancel, and if she did not, I would have to dispute the charge and I would advise others to avoid this place.
At this moment, the gates of heaven unleashed a fury unknown to me before this. She started screaming at me "GOD HAS PLANS FOR YOU!!!" "GOD IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU." At this point, I certainly was not going any further. This is some batshit crazy going on. You can't write this stuff into a movie. I also got a little agitated at this point and expressed my point of view. Call done.
Lastly, I decided to drive over to the neighborhood to let the guards know to turn away the delivery. The driver was already at the gate, and when I informed the guard (3:19pm), he assured me that they would not let them in anyways because he was driving without a valid license. So great to know that our bed was being delivered in a large truck by an unlicensed driver.
I now think this store is a scam. The sales team did not know basic warranty and coil information, and the receipt has none of this, or even brand info on it. The "service" team is nothing more than a junkyard pit bull designed to call and try and intimidate customers. I would much rather spend thousands on beds elsewhere, and I would recommend you do the same.
