I used Klint on a project in Federal Way. He charged a flat minimum fee to repair some gutters. He went out quickly to do the repairs. After a week, I called him to politely and professionally inform him that the end caps were still leaking. He got defensive and changed his tone of voice and said he would go out and take a look at it. Another week went by and haven't heard from him so I gave him a call. During our conversation his response was " I'm not going to go out there every time!" This was the first time I asked him to take a look at the gutters after the repair was completed. He later called me back stating the gutters are fine and said "I DON'T NEED A F@&$ING SPEECH FROM YOU!!!" and hung up. Staight talker in regards to fee and scope. Thoughghtful, high-quality install and asked questions to ensure it was done to my liking. Made a special trip the next day to finish one small detail (a rarity if pay isn't held back). Pleasant attitude on the job site. Most of the above sounds like just a part of doing business, but due to the Seattle market being so hot, customer service and pride of a job well done has declined tremendously. Klint took a deposit for a gutter job. Never showed up to do the work. Never refunded any of the deposit. He is a thief.

From beginning to end their service was terrible. Klint Pittser, the owner provided me a quote for removal and installation of the gutters. The removal was to be done first in the week of Sept. 23rd, to allow for the house to be painted, he missed the appointment three times. After the second time, when I tried to reschedule he told me to "Relax" and did not provide any further information. He finally came out October 10th and removed them. The installation was the same way, he missed the appointment multiple times and I had to keep asking him until he came out and installed them on October 31st and took final payment. Unfortunately it did not rain until a week later and then I realized all of the gutter corners were leaking. After informing him of this, Klint promised he would come out and fix them and again missed multiple appointments. I finally got fed up waiting and went to Mendoza Gutters to have them fixed, which they did the same day they came out. I would not recommend this company and their services to anyone. read more

I highly recommend Klint and Gutters 4 Homes to anyone needing new gutters or gutter repairs. Gutters are not as expensive as many home repair projects, until they are installed incorrectly or with poor quality products. After researching 5 different gutter companies I chose Klint because I trusted what he said the most. I was pleasantly surprised during the installation because Klint made two alterations to roof to siding flashing because they would have otherwise created a water intrusion failure. Klint not only made the alterations he made them at no cost. Klint's motto, is "I install them like it was my own home," and he truly lived up to the standard. Klint was the lowest price of all the quotes I received but that is not the reason you should hire him. His communication was clear and he was on site and completed the work exactly when he said he would be and better than I believe any of the other companies would have. Lastly I appreciate when I asked Klint about gutter guards he said he has tried them all and was happy to sell me one but that all of them eventually fail and I would be wasting money installing them. I needed new gutters, but also needed to stay within budget as I have many other house repairs to do. Klint listened carefully to what I needed and helped match me with options that were both cost effective, long lasting and low maintenance without upselling. Received an estimate from Klint on August 27 2017, it is now June 28 and our job is still not finished. We were told he would start the job on September 6th, we received a text message on the 5th saying his truck was in the shop. On Sept. 8 we received a text his truck was back and wanted to know if we wanted him to come out the next day. the front was done with the exception of a very small area. On Sept 17 he told us he needed to track down his 32' ladder before he could do our very high back section. On October we texted Klint asking when the job was going to be finished he stated the supplier have been out of stock on the gutter coil they said should have it by Wednesday. On October 16 we texted yet again didn't receive a response so sent another text on October 19 asking when our job would be finished he stated he will try for next week his 32' ladder is gone so he will have to get a new one. On November 6 we texted him once again asking for a firm date to finish the job or we would just find another company, his response " I am trying to keep up and needs to get another ladder if it's guttered it's good till I can get back...I'm sorry.. I hope it's not to much to ask be patient I have not forgotten you". I asked what kind of time frame we are looking at his response he will get it done this month or we can just adjust the pricing for what is already done he stated it's not an easy job and he has customers with no gutters. On 02/22 we texted Klint letting him know to forget about the back just finish the front. He responded on 02/26 saying he will get out to get the front done and that what we had paid covers what is done plus the one piece that is still to be done. On April 20 texted him once again asking for a date on April 22 he texted and said he will be by this week sometime and need our address again. On May 3 STILL not done texted him he said sorry it's been busy trying to get it when he is south he has been north all week I will make the trip 1st of the week. May 13th texted him yet again, May 26 sent ANOTHER text he replied and said will do it by Friday on June 1 still not done. He replied to say I ran super late today with no charger for cell I can do it tomorrow afternoon and said don't ever text him at 10:30pm again ever. On June 2 he texted and said I may not get it today having gutter machine issues I'm working on it no maybe this evening if not Monday. Monday June 4th he texts to say don't freak out truck is in the shop I will get to it ASAP. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORKS ENEMY.
