Guy was our DJ for the wedding in Ondine Sausalito, June 2015. My husband and I really enjoyed working with him. My husband and I came from very different cultures so we would like to have all kind of music during our wedding. However, both of us do not have a lot of music idea to give it to Guy. After first meeting, we just gave him a rough idea that we would like to have American Pop, Japanese, Taiwanese and Persian music. Guy helped us to find all musics we want and played during the wedding receptions. Our guests were very surprised that they were able to hear so many up-to-date songs from different countries. Our guests say they really enjoyed the music. I also liked the lighting he brought to the reception. It created a fun and party atmosphere. Another strength Guy has is he is able to pronounce ethnic name very well. We had some Chinese, Japanese, and Persian name and he pronounced it perfectly. I am very pleased! :) In addition, I think Guy is very organized and easy to communicate with. He was the best vender among all for my wedding. Guy Angelo ROCKS! He is very detail oriented, follow up/ through on everything/ helps you out when you need it. Guy adapts well to his guests, can read a crowd very well. He'll play the music you ask for. Guy even makes suggestions when you might want a song and he know's a better version such as Sinatra or Harry Conick and which is better for a specific crowd as he did at our wedding. I recently posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a DJ. I wrote that My son is coming home from war in Afghanastan and I am looking for a Dj for his homecoming party. I stated in the ad I have 300. for a DJ. Out of 86 request's for a DJ I responded to Guy's email. He seamed professional at first. He said it was much lower than his average states however he committed and sent me a contract. I spent time arranging this with him through email as well as the phone. I was truly counting on him. Less than one week before the event, while we were down in San Diego for my sons arrival, I received an email from GUY with an excuse he had to cancel. Hopefully things will work out and one of the other 85 DJ's will take this on but in the meantime I feel frustrated since I had thought this portion of my sons party was covered. The only thing I can say is Guy Angelo is a DJ you cannot count on. He may leave you stranded at the last minute if he can't live with the price agreed upon...And for someone with his life on the line to protect Guys Freedoms. My Husband and I just got married at Ondine in Sausalito. We met Guy one night when my fiance at the time brought me to show me the venue. Guy was working downstairs at Horizons and he kindly let us into Ondine, as it is only open for private events. In checking the place out he mentioned he was a DJ. He was really nice so from that point on I had pretty much decided we would hire him. Last night was the most amazing night of our lives. We supplied Guy with a ton of our own music and he did an amazing job fulfilling each and every one of our requests. Not to mention the fact that the dance floor was packed until the very last song!!!! He went over the time line with me personally over the phone which was great because I didn't have a clue how the whole thing should go down. I hired Guy for A/V needs on a recommendation and he exceeded any and all expectations I had. We gave Guy the outline of what we needed for sound and video display and he put together an amazing setup for a reasonable price and stayed at the party all night to help man the show. DJ Guy Angelo is deadly on the decks, a gentlemen, and a scholar. I co-hosted a Backward Skate themed party in the city with him and we always had the room moving. He brought lights, equipment, video projectors, and his A game every time. He is a phenomenal DJ who can play most any genre for hours on end and has a great feel for a room. We found DJ Guy angelo on Craigslist and he was one of our best vendors for our wedding. He's a super responsible guy and was super responsive to all of our emails and last minute changes. I've been to weddings where they spent 3 or 4 times more on their DJ and had problems with electronic equipment and lame music. Guy Angelo kept the party going late into the night and all of our guests were asking for his name. The best part was that he was totally willing to work with all of our last minute requests, from our entry into the reception which we added the day before to our slideshow. Got married last October, and had Guy DJ our wedding. Will just say that we couldn't have had a better DJ/MC even if we had hired that dude from the Wedding Singer! Guy had great equipment, was there promptly and had everything set up ready to go with no issues! We worked with him sometime before, he is very hands on about everything you might need, and when he announced the wedding party he had the crowd roaring with his awesome introductions of our wedding party! We are old school, so when he introduced my best friend as "the guy who got busy in a Burger King bathroom" had everybody rolling on the floor! He also has a great voice and does sing, so that is something you can ask him about, great vocal talents! He played all the requests we asked for, and the people were very happy with his work, and we as the Bride and Groom were very happy as well! In fact he has promised us if we ever get divorced he would do both our next weddings at 25% off! lol just kidding about that part, but he really did bend over backwards to make sure that everyone had a great time. Guy was DJ at our wedding Sausalito in June 2015. I could not recommend anyone more highly than him. He is an absolute professional. His price is very reasonable and he brings along all the equipments and lighting necessary. He has a huge array of songs to play and very accommodating as what songs to play and when to play them. We met him in person prior to our wedding and after that we had number of emails and phone calls. He was always available and willing to listen to our ideas. He played songs throughout reception. Guy Angelo Sound is the BEST. During my interview with Guy, it became immediately clear that he knows his stuff. His most important assets are his listening skills. My fiance and I were looking for a Tex-Mex wedding theme for our May 19 wedding and needed his assistance to select the appropriate music for our event.
