This particular location is in the Waterworks shopping center. Compared to the competitor Dick's Sporting Goods, Dunham's Sports has an interior design that does not look as nice. However, I actually preferred this Dunham's Sports over the Dick's Sporting Goods nearby. I shopped throughout this Dunham's but mostly in the women's section. I felt impressed by the selection of women's clothing, and I found many shirts that I liked--for example, a green sweatshirt that was half-off for $15, a short-sleeve t-shirt for $15, a hoodie for $20, and a flannel shirt on clearance for $11. All other departments were also full of quality merchandise. I was familiar with some of their brands (e.g., Under Armour, Levi's, NordicTrack, Wilson, adidas, Nike, Bauer, and Skechers). Areas of improvement for this store: When I was looking at the women's sneakers, an employee walked right by me and did not say hello or offer any assistance. Some prices were low, and other prices were moderately high compared to other retailers.

I am mostly interested in less common vintage guns. Each time I have found outstanding deals on vintage firearms. Most recently a Stevens Crackshot, a The American Double Action in 44 Webley (small gun, huge bore and perfect grips), a Forehand and Wadsworsth 32 S&W (perfect grips) and a Winchester 250 lever action. With all of those great oddities, I didn't break the bank. These folks do business the right way and are also very nice. They have new guns and old guns. It is very much worth your while to stop in their store if you are a collector or are interested in new guns. I have got to tell you, I left their store with a smile on my face and an armful of awesome vintage firearms that I will spend years enjoying.

Now you seem to be a burden if you want to buy anything. We had a salesman one word us because we asked to purchase a red dot. When we asked for plates he promptly turned around and walked away to his computer, never to be heard from again. It's sad because this continuously happens now. I really hope the team gets it together because it's sad to see a local facility like that decline.

Next we were looking for a pistol for me. I explained to Dave that I tried shooting a Remington 380 and it was too difficult for me I don't have the strength in my hand to squeeze the trigger. He showed my husband and I, a Smith & Wesson 380 and truly educated me and taught me how to properly handle my new pistol. So my husband purchased me my new Smith & Wesson. Btw I was thrilled and so happy. This review is truly about Dave, what an amazing salesman who spent the time needed with me to want this gun. But the good thing is they have everything you need or want. And the store stands behind everything that they sell. The only bad thing is I wish I still lived in Wexford Pa. I love Pa but had to move south when my Wife and I retired because of health issues. But at 73 years old I still go back home every year to go Deer hunting. Pa has the best hunting out of every state. I believe Big Buck opened before 1980 because my Wife bought me a Colt Defender 380 for an anniversary present.And I think every time you bought anything in Big Buck you got points that you could use to buy something in the store.
