Although some of Dr. Dever's methods may initially seem unconventional or alternative in nature, I can firmly say that my experience was extremely positive. He was caring, kind, empathetic, attentive, and completely professional throughout my appointment. I am a highly data-driven and logical person. I have struggled with severe shoulder, scapular, upper-back, and neck pain for many years, yet no healthcare professional has been able to clearly identify or successfully treat the underlying problem. I have been offered neck surgery, injections, pain medication, infusions, physical therapy, and other chiropractic treatments, but nothing has provided meaningful or lasting relief. When I left Dr. Dever's office today, I felt a lightness in my spirit and a profound sense of relaxation moving through my shoulders and upper back. Most importantly, for the first time in years, I was not experiencing significant pain. I once AGAIN, just like every appointment, informed him I have a severe hearing ADA disability & CANNOT UNDERSTAND him (1) because he states "cannot speak any louder" (2) Gives instructions from across the room !!! He DID NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE RAISING HIS VOICE WHEN HE WAS "IN MY FACE". What could improve?? A few things!! For one...a call back…read more I left two messages yesterday, Thursday and two today, Friday. No one called me back.. I've been working two weeks to get my prescription refilled. This coming Monday will make 3 weeks. When I called two Mondays ago. The staff told me that they didn't do in-house compounding anymore because of insurance. I gave them a name of a compounding pharmacy that I've used in the past. This took a couple days. When the staff called my prescription in, it was a different form of pill then when it was compounded in the office. was getting the dissolve in your mouth thyroid pill. The office called in a capsule. I wanted to stay with what I had been on for the last two months. When the pharmacy finally got the OK from the doctor to do the dissolve in your mouth pill, the pharmacy told me two days ago, it would be the end of next week before I got my medicine. I ran out of medicine two days ago. I decided to check with a local compounding company I've used in the past. I called them Thursday of this week. They told me if the prescription came in yesterday. They could have my medicine to me by Tuesday. Problem is the office called in a prescription from my old doctor, not my present doctor. This Dr has never prescribed this dosage for me. So I've made a bunch of calls and no one has called me back and they haven't called the right dosage into the pharmacy. So, I don't know when I'm going to get my medicine. Pretty sad.

After a couple of days, my excruciating pain had returned and Dr. Clint opened his calendar for me to come in on a Saturday night at 8 pm! I don't know any other doctor who would do that. He washed his hands and went to take me back. Instinctively, I put my had out as he introduced himself, and he withdrew quickly. I offered a fist bump and then a arm bump and dropped it, realizing he appeared annoyed by it. He asked me if I was worried about the virus, and I said I wasn't and that I already had it. And this is where the review becomes very negative. He condescendingly told me "At least you lived." I'm at the point where I'm sick of COVID-19 being treated like it's a death sentence. Facts show that the fatality rate is close to the flu. I flippantly said "Everyone lives," to which he became very angry. At this point, I had taken a seat across from his desk which is probably about ten feet from it. I don't think he realized his reaction, but it was aggressive and angry. I've been in law enforcement for over 20 years, and he took what would be called as a fighting stance (arms down, chest out) and he stood over me and angrily said in almost a shout, certainly with a raised voice, "EVERYONE DIES!" The pose and behavior was so aggressive, that had he been about a foot closer, I would have impact struck him to push him away. I stared at him, incredulous at his behavior, and he walked to his desk and tried to cover a bit and said that everyone died eventually. He looked over my intake sheet to see my history and asked what was bothering me. At that point, I stood up, took out my wallet and said "I'm just going to pay for the session and leave," to which he asked "Can I ask why?" I was very blunt, and responded "Because you're a dick." I again offered to pay to which he said "I don't want your money." I then left. I gave the second star because he's very hygienic (which is always good, virus or not) and he didn't charge for the appointment when he certainly could have. Maybe he was just having a bad day, and it seems others enjoy his services, but I can't see letting someone so aggressive who loses their cool so easily work on me physically.

I reserved the appointment then found ZocDoc on a google search and called Lisnet's office at Milagros In South Tucson. Got an appointment within a few days. I was very impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. The only drawback for me was needing a ride to her office from Green Valley. Lisnet made some medication changes and ordered tests I needed. She immediately referred me to specialists for specific testing and they were quick to book and good. The only reason I stopped seeing Lisnet was the 13 month appt with Banner in Green Valley finally arrived and I went as it was 2 miles from home. The MD I have been seeing is alright but not as good as Lisnet. If you are at all able to get an appointment within her, you will not regret it.
