When he retired and sold the agency, he sold it to an acquaintance of mine. I thought I would be even more happy, but instead was basically cast aside. He was very friendly and professional, but kept forgetting my name, though I coached his daughter in softball and she attended school with my daughter. I again moved to a different state and was treated like a donator of premiums. I experienced unethical and unprofessional business practices and finally had enough. I went to Paul Bendele and have been absolutely satisfied for nearly four years. I am again experiencing the personal and caring service I had been missing. As of now, I have no plans to even explore changing. Paul and his staff have restored my faith in the insurance industry. If you care about personal service and ethical business practices, Bendele agency is your best bet, in my experience.

How often can you say that a insurance agent would honestly not sell you a policy that she wouldn't buy if she was in your shoes. Kind of the beauty of going to someone like her instead of dealing with the companies personally. Thus INDEPENDENT agent. I got hit by a drunk driver... with no insurance (surprise surprise)... called her the day i got hit... and she immediately began helping me through the process. Working 50-60 hours a week and dealing with my insurance company (GMAC), who's offices operate on Eastern time, which means there offices were closed everyday at 2:30, would normally be very difficult... not with Ursala having your back.! She was constantly updating me... and calling them (GMAC) to make they had no plans on forgetting about me 'the little guy'... as most insurance companies so often do... Best customer service i have every experienced... especially when your talking about a field such as insurance where i feel like most insurance companies have never heard of such a thing. As long as I'm in Colorado... Ursala has a LIFE-LONG customer in me. Anyone tired of getting bullied around by insurance companies should really give her a call and see what she is all about! I had State Farm insurance for about 4 years and it was a good experience until I was treated…read moreterribly by the office manager named Amber. I found out my apartment building had been charging me for renters insurance for over 2 years even though I had it a showed them I had it. I reached out to the office to get my proof of having the insurance and things did not go as planned. I was told they can only see a year back and they will see what they can do. I called back a day or two later and got brutally shamed by this Amber for even thinking I could get something as simple as proof that I was insured!? She started by saying "Like I told you before we can not go back that far" even though she told me we will see what we can do and I will get back to you and never did get back to me. I let that one go then she started saying far more rude things to me and left me in shock. I ended my insurance plan with them do to this lady. I did speak with Jim Todd the next day and explained to him what was said and that she did an awful job in that particular situation. Jim did end up getting me the forms needed to get reimbursed by my apartment but I had a hard time getting over how she treated me.

Office never returned call…read morewhen we left a message we wanted to increase coverage, meaning we were trying to give them a higher premium. Office staff unapologetic for not returning call, though acknowledged receipt. Staff member completely unqualified to handle business. Sent email directly to agent to explain why we were moving our business. Thought he would want to know. Obviously he didn't mind, as not even a follow-up email in response. Extremely poor service.
