The book was Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. You register for the class and pay online. It is an easy process. You pick up the book before the class. You have a few weeks to read the book and then show up to the book club, where you discuss the book while making a craft. I love this concept. This was my dream night/class, getting to read a book and then craft while discussing it. There were about 8 people there and the instructor. Everyone was so kind and excited to be there and talk about the book. The craft was tote bags. We took acrylic paint and painted a bunch of books on there. There were so many creative designs.  The space at Musejar is wonderful. There is a separate entry for art classes and the store. The store has some super cool craft products, as well as a large selection of fiber items, and decor. It is inviting and warm and always decorated with the season or holiday. Two notable differences from other potters: 1. The glazes include colors like I've not seen, bright and colorful and 2. The inclusion of slab formed mugs. The attention to detail is evident from the inside color of the mugs to the carefully formed handles. Note, there are many beautiful glazes that are not colorful as well, more traditional blues and earth tones. I bought a cheerful mug as a tribute to my late rescue Maltese. We had the opportunity to take a class with Jennifer Hastings and her company, Create Flow. This…read moreparticular class was building an herb garden. First, we got to petsonalize and decorate our herb container. The one side was a chalkboard. We were supplied with chalk markers to complete this part of the project. We then filled the container with rocks on the bottom (for drainage) and potting soil. We then added the 3 herbs. They included basil, rosemary, and parsley. Lastly, we added whatever top garnishment you wanted in your pot. Jennifer was great with the instructions for this class and included information on how to care for our herbs at home. She was also super nice. This class was held at Briar Brothers Brewery, so we were able to enjoy a brew while there. Check out her website for a list of upcoming classes & locations.
