Gym tacos can do no wrong in my book. Hands down my go to taco spot. The service was great, considering lunch hours. And the outdoor area was perfect for such a pretty day. I did an online order for pick up, but clearly couldn't make it home. I couldn't resist enjoying it on their patio.

They are very generous with the amount of shrimp that goes into the gym taco. The shrimp was fresh and basically falling off in every bite. This was probably my favorite and it tasted delicious with the lime and salsa. I also ordered the suadero and lengua tacos but it was difficult to distinguish between the two, which goes to say the lengua quality wasn't that great. The suadero was alright but nothing to write home about. I know it's not authentic, but I'm not a big corn tortilla lover, so I liked that the default tortillas were made of flour and that they also only came with one. The food came out pretty quickly, the workers were kind, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from on a Monday night.

We decided to stop by here on our way to a concert in the area, and had a pretty good experience overall. The vibe of the restaurant was chill and perfect for a quick bite that's a step up from fast food. I liked being able to see the kitchen from the front lobby area and we had plenty of time to review the menu without feeling rushed. They had customers constantly in and out, so I honestly had pretty high hopes for the restaurant based on this and the reviews online. I thought the food was tasty but slightly dry (and especially the chicken) without the sauces available on the side counter. Staff/ service was prompt and our food was hot! I would definitely return here and try some of their other menu options to get a better idea of the flavor profiles and provide a more in-depth review!

Solid, hot food with fast service. There was a station by the cash register that had different sauces to put on your food which was nice. The quesadilla was pretty heavy and greasy but was a delicious meal to have before day drinking. The tacos were good, just a bit dry but the hot sauce took it up a notch.

Nice location, cheerful staff and good selection. Ordered Gym Tacos- shrimp taco with homemade Chipotle mayo, spring mix, avocado cream and Pico de Gallo. Salsa selection fresh, bright and tasty, not run of the mill selection.

Nachos tower was a large portions, reasonable prices. (Wish they had a small for just 2 people). Overall I liked the tacos. It's a fun & informal vibe.

Food was fresh, hot, and quick to come out. Prices are reasonable given the quality of all the ingredients. Plenty of parking and the inside was clean and tidy. Workers were a bit rushed but overall friendly. I'll definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

I'm wondering if this is where they put people who complain about the food!?!

Similar setup to El Toro in South Raleigh, but the food is off the chain! The cashiers are very friendly and make fantastic recommendations. Definitely worth repeat visits! Their horchata is even better than my own homemade! I got two cabeza, two lengua, one brisket, and a roasted jalapeno and white onion blend, and the jalapeno kicked my ass! Lol nicely done everyone! Definitely a place you can take the kids. No reusable silver and self-serve to clean up. Very clean inside and a moderate amount of parking.

When you arrive, there is plenty of parking around the building, and entrances in the front and on the right side. Once inside, you'll walk up to counter and place your order. Your then given a order number and it's open seating. Your number will be called out in Spanish when your food is ready and you'll pick it up at the counter. I ordered an al pastor taco which unfortunately was not good. It came out extremely cold and needed a lot of salsa for it to have any flavor. I also ordered a steak burrito which was much better and was served with melted cheese on the top. There were fatty pieces throughout the burrito but this was far better than the taco. Lastly, I ordered a horchata but it tasted like grainy and wasn't great. If I'm in the area again I may give this a try but I'd definitely stick with a burrito so your food is hot.

Counter service was very friendly. Menu seems diverse. Restaurant is huge and clean. Prices are good value. Salsa bar was lacking. Only two types of salsa and was not a fan of either. : ( Tortilla Chips are the variety that are thicker, harder, and not as tasty. And they were probably over cooked. : ( Burrito was just ok but again good portion.

I ordered the trailer park combo which comes with a trailer park taco (Fried chicken, green chiles, pico de gallo, mixed cheese with poblano sauce on a flour tortilla), queso and a drink. I'd recommend taking the lettuce off as I feel like it overpowers the taco. I also ordered the Ranch Hand breakfast taco (Cage free eggs, marinated and grilled steak, mixed cheese on a flour tortilla with a side of Diablo sauce). The Diablo sauce is a bit too hot for me so I subbed that for the salsa roja on the side. Both tacos were excellent and remind me of my first time eating Torchy's at their og location in Austin.
