I can't be silent anymore. Where to begin.... First and foremost, this is my opinion and my experience after much intended research. DO YOUR research. She markets herself as someone who is natural, but her first line treatment for my sleep issues was a benzodiazepine. There was ZERO follow up, zero check ins and zero support. Since April of 2023, I have been in and out of detox centers, as after 5 weeks I started feeling sick. The ER told me I was in withdrawal of a benzo. This was the scariest time of my life. I don't drink or do drugs wasn't seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist and now I have a huge team helping me fight ALL of this. I have spent so much money, almost lost my job, almost lost my life after being prescribed a benzo with zero education. She never told me I could become dependent or go into withdrawal. Cheryl just told me I would sleep. And it worked! But it almost cost me my entire life. I went to Cheryl because I thought she was more natural and would help me. That is not the case. This has been so scary and to be honest I just wasn't educated. It cost me 45k to go inpatient. I had to see a psychiatrist and multiple psychologists to help me through this. I am a recent cancer survivor and to be honest, in my opinion surviving cancer was a lot easier and less scary than benzo withdrawal. I am writing this so it warns others to educate yourself as this is SCARY. This altered my brain into manic and I have been fighting for my life almost 6 months now. I'm grateful to still be here to my new team who checks in on me, who monitors me and who listens to me. When I reached out to a Cheryl she didn't believe the benzo could cause these type of problems, but in my opinion and experience I needed more monitoring and I needed to be listened to, and I needed someone who was educated on prescribing benzos. Most psychiatrists in Arizona post ont heir website they do not prescribe benzos. This is sad because a more natural marketed NP is prescribing these drugs and does not have psychiatric background and understand how scary these drugs are. BE AWARE and educate yourself on drugs prescribed by this NP. Also, when reviewing our texts- she never once said please schedule a visit, so we can reassess. She didn't even believe I was in withdrawal from the benzos. She thought this was hormone related and after a lot of different doctors all their expert opinions including the ER, a psychiatrist, and cardiologist- I was in benzo withdrawal. She never once sent a text asking how I was. When I told her about my issues she didn't even respond to to the ER like the other doctors did. So her message back is just untrue. I never felt monitored or supported. I felt blindsided I could have even gotten dependent on this drug. But I was never educated on it, period. If she had said let's get you scheduled and reassessed I would have considered it, but she never told me that's what I should do. Why would I go back in when I was so sick, and she didn't say there was anything she could do to help me.

I do not recommend this place to anyone! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! REVIEW: I discovered Options Medical at a health expo, where they promoted free body scans. I wasn't planning to commit to a program but ended up signing up for their 18-week plan for $2,300 through Care Credit because it seemed promising. However, my overall experience didn't meet my expectations. From the start, I was clear that I wanted to lose weight naturally by making lifestyle changes and improving my eating habits. I had already started changing my eating habits and including more protein, which led to noticeable weight loss. Once they began changing up what was working for me, I stopped losing weight. About two weeks in, they began discussing GLP (Ozempic), which wasn't something I was comfortable with. The program seemed to focus heavily on promoting Ozempic for faster results, which didn't align with my goals. I also tried their Lipo (Lipotropic) shots for three months, but I started experiencing a reaction that caused raised bumps and scabs on my right arm and a stinging/burning sensation in my left arm that left me in tears. After three instances, I stopped taking the shots around week seven, as the staff couldn't provide much guidance on why this was happening. I also didn't feel like the staff was adequately trained or equipped to address medical issues when they arose, which was disappointing. I was prescribed phentermine for appetite suppression but didn't notice any significant difference from taking it, so I discontinued it after about three months. While the staff members were polite, my appointments with the nurse practitioner felt very brief and unhelpful. They were usually under 10 minutes and didn't provide meaningful guidance. I decided to only attend 2/5 sessions. The app they provided also didn't work well, it kept logging me out and was difficult to use. When I stopped attending around week 10 of 18, they never called or reached out to check in after not seeing me for eight weeks. The only communication I received were automated texts with links to reschedule. However, the links didn't work and required me to pay just to book an appointment. Although I lost 12 lbs overall, which I was happy about, it was nowhere near my goal, and I don't feel the program delivered the level of support I was expecting. The nutritional guidebook provided was barely referenced, and weekly visits were pointless. The ladies at Options are nice, but the environment didn't feel particularly welcoming or encouraging. It seemed more focused on getting people in the door and discussing medications rather than creating a tailored, natural approach to weight loss. This program might be a good fit for someone open to taking Ozempic for quicker results. However, for those wanting a more natural path to weight loss, it may not align with your goals. For $2,300, I had hoped for a more personalized, supportive, and functional experience.
