Gyro & Grill is easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants we've tried! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and truly felt homemade. The tzatziki sauce is hands down one of the best I've ever had, creamy, flavorful, and the perfect complement to every bite. We ordered the Kofta and the Gyro Rice Bowl, and both were absolutely outstanding. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the Mediterranean rice deserves a special mention, it was so flavorful that I could have eaten it by itself! If you're looking for authentic, fresh, and delicious Mediterranean food, I highly recommend giving Gyro & Grill a try. We'll definitely be coming back! Had an awesome lunch today. Spent the weekend in DFW, coming home on IH-35W heading to Denton. Ended up passing the exit for my brother's old home. Saw a highway sign for 'Gyro & Grill' and instantly had a craving for it. Had to drive another 2-miles for the u-turn to get back. The drive up to this new commerce mall was nice, e erything looked new. The new giant Kroger not open yet. Was immediately greeted by the manager, Biko was his name. Immediately the Peter Gabriel song comes to mind, and now it's ear worming me. LOL Menu was bright and easy to read, just gotta figure out the naming system, as this is more middle eastern branded than Greek. I went with Pita & Hummus for "appetizer". It was really good, the Pita was fresh as was the Red Pepper Hummus. I also ordered a side of Falafel with Tzatziki sauce. OMG! These were really yummy!! One of rhe best I've had. For my main dish, I ordered the Gyro Pita Sandwich with 'Greek Fries', which means they're heavily sauced with sauce of choice, mine being a heavy garlic sauce. Also ordered an extra side of their 'beef kofta' to give it a try. The entire meal was delicious!! Everything cooked to perfection and assembled to an eye please treat. Will definitely return and encourage others to go out of their way to try this new restaurant in the Argyle/North Lake area. About 3/4 a mile east off IH-35W at Exit 76. This was the freshest mediterranean food I've had in a while. The chicken didn't really have a taste, but it was cooked perfectly. I wish I would have gotten the garlic sauce instead of that, Taziki just to give it a little umph, but overall it was good. Service was great and quick and the restaurant was very clean! This was our first time at Gyro & Grill, we decided to dine in for lunch on Valentine's Day. When we walked in we were immediately welcomed. The atmosphere is a cozy cafe style with tables and chairs set up in an inviting way. We ordered at the counter and the owner came around from the back to welcome us. Our number was called in about 5 minutes and our food was ready. It wasn't even Noon yet and this place was busy, people dining in and carrying out. We enjoyed our meal and food was delicious! Very solid Gyro place. Can't go wrong with their chicken pita sandwich. Has a ton of meat and the chicken is juicy not dry at all. My favorite is their grilled shrimp bowl. The food was okay. A little bland, the gyro lacked flavor. We got a pita gyro sandwich and a gyro bowl. The pita sandwich was fine, not great, just okay. The bowl was okay, but the bowl had very little rice/gyro and half salad. The sauces were kinda placed in the bowl to fill space. The bowl looked pretty empty compared to other spots. Service was very friendly and ambiance was like one of a donut shop. The hummus was great though, 5 stars on that. But they did forgot my garlic sauce that I paid extra for, so 1 star for that. read more

A storefront restaurant serving typical Gyro style food. First the bad ... this place has zero personality. A little seating area. Really cold and uncomfortable. Now the good ... the food here is excellent for a fast-food Greek. So, I recommend this restaurant for take out only. And since I live just five minutes away, that all works out. I had a Gyro Pita Sandwich that was filled with meat and tzatziki and fresh vegetables. Very well done. My wife had a Greek Panini and it too was large and flavorful. We shared a side of Greek Fries. That is basically french fries covered with Feta cheese and it was sooo good. We have since talked with friends who say their experience was the same, and I have heard nothing about disappointment with the food. For drinks they have a few bottled waters and soda in a fridge, and no fountain drinks. To me that is a real downside, especially for anyone eating in. However, since I can't recommend anyone doing that, simply order food for home and supply your own drinks there. So, the conclusion is we are glad to have what should be dependable Gyro food nearby to pick up and will likely do that every month or so. read more
