Beef and lamb pita.

The guys here are great, super friendly, food's fresh, fast, tastes great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurants clean, well staffed, and good service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wasn't sure if I was going to like the Greek food, now we eat here a few times a week.

Beef and Lamb Gyro Plate to go!

The customer service makes this above and beyond the place to go! Ordered the beef and lamb plates and it was out of this world but what makes this 5 star MUST STOP place in Monroe is the customer service the owner themselves went way above- I ordered via grub hub and they totally failed! The owner felt so bad he took care of it himself- if you order delivery use Uber or DoorDash- or better yet pick up in person and meet this AMAZING human!!! For the Foodies- definitely try the beef and lamb plate- delicious! One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the state! Definitely a customer for life!

Authentic, high quality, fresh, and super fast food! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the place to go. Whether you're looking to sit or grab and go, you can't go wrong.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is authentic gyros and schwarma. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here after a ski trip, they served us within 5 minutes, and the place is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is hot and ready!!

favorite gyro place ! the staff there is always so nice & kind to me, whether it's greeting me, answering questions, accommodations due to food sensitivities, they're always happy to help or up for small talk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]very small place, locally owned it seems.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]very clean, positive, & calm environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the food is very good, to the point me & my boyfriend love to come here for date nights: his favorite is the chicken shawarma plate, we both love the gyro fries (as does my sister, who will go to full lengths to steal this deliciousness from me haha!) & a few of my favorites things the greek salad & the beef & lamb gyro ! much love goes into the making of this food & nice clean incidents as well !

The beef and lamb gyro sandwich is the best around! It's jam packed with meat, veggies, tzatziki and feta. I typically am not a fan of it til they had me sample the meat. Super tasty, moist, not salty, and lots of it. Super yum! It's a little messy but it's worth it! The halva on their dessert case was delish. Love the pistachios. A little crumbly but good! They even serve lentil soup by the bowl. Definitely something for everyone. The price is lower than the ones posted on the website. As always, super friendly, prompt and they aim to please! Love this place!

In long Meeting an old friend for lunch, I looked for the best place that was close to halfway between us. I knew he dug Persian, but, for all the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean I've tried, this was my first venture. Safe to say I was long overdue for this exploration. 100th is pretty dense with little strip malls and mixed-use retail/residential for miles through here. A couple blocks away, you're in very leafy suburbia, but this stretch of road is 4 lanes and endless business district. BBMC is tucked on the east side of the street in a corner suite, plenty of parking. The dining room isn't much bigger than the back of most moving trucks you've loaded in your life; there's seating for maybe 20, and about 4 more on the little sidewalk patio. There's a clean and spacious washroom in back, though getting a wheelchair in there might take some doing. You get laminated menus and a carafe of water within a minute of sitting. It's not the longest menu, but evidently pretty extensive by Persian standards. We both went for grilled kebabs with basmati rice and salad. I was on duty to bring home a full serving of leftovers, so I went with the King's Choice. Great big salad, and a huge tray of rice. This is clearly designed for at least 2 to share. As it happens, that was the plan, since we're having leftovers for dinner at home. The salad has tons of fresh veg and a nice herbaceous yogurt dressing. No sauce on the meat or rice, but there's a ton of flavor from perfectly-balanced dry seasoning. The beef, ground beef, and chicken kebabs were all bursting with moisture and flavor, cooked just to perfect doneness, and showing nice little hints of grill scoring. I paid a little over $70 for what will be 3 servings of food (at least), and I haven't even tried the eggplant appetizer yet. I grabbed that to go. This place is worth many repeat visits, and I'd be in here regularly if I lived closer.

The service was a bit slow, but our server was incredibly kind and apologized for the delay by bringing us complimentary falafel plates, which we really appreciated. It was a thoughtful gesture that made the experience much better. One thing to keep in mind is that the portion sizes are quite generous, so it's easy to share dishes. The restaurant itself is fairly small, so I'd recommend making a reservation, especially during busy hours. Overall, a nice place with tasty food, generous portions, and warm hospitality

3 decades of loyal dining at the Old Mediterranean proves how amazing the food is here…read more OK, when I need a blast of garlic throughout my body the Mediterranean Kitchen is my pit stop... A friendly greeting as I walk into the establishment which is always welcome. A bowl of hot soup comes quickly after taking a seat... Pondering through the menu which I know by heart I order either the Shish Tawook, which is charbroiled tenderized chicken served over rice with a garlic sauce, YUM. However if that's not grabbing me I get the Kafta Kabob served over Yellow Rice, Hummus, Salad and Pita Bread to scoop up all those flavors. Occasionally I have the best of all world plate which is The Combination Plate featuring the Kabob Kafta kabob, Shish Tawook and lamb kabob charbroiled with tomatoes and onions. Now if that does not excite you nothing will... The place can get a rocking loud cause it's not huge but it has all the comforts of a big loud family meal. Parking is limited so be patient but the food is worth it 1000%.... And bring some mints cause it's a garlic night out...
