The Dr at this clinic is absolutely wonderful. She is very methodical, patient and caring. I went with very bad back pain and foot pain, after my first treatment my pain was half what it had been when I arrived. My following treatment I left with almost zero pain. While I am clear that everyone has a different experience with pain, if you come to the clinic for treatment I believe you will have a very positive experience. The treatments are about 90 minutes long. The office is quiet and calming which allowed me to be able to relax. I was diagnosed with vertigo a month ago. I had tried chiropractic care and medication/ I wasn't getting the relief I needed. My physician suggested acupuncture, I have Kaiser, but am not a fan of their acupuncture care. They do not treat the body as a whole there. So I did a Yelp search- and was not disappointed: I felt confident in picking Dr Jianna based off other Yelp reviews. I called for an appointment and was able to be seen the next day. I appreciate the form you fill out your first visit about all your "issues". I came for migraine and vertigo relief, but the form lists all sorts of other ailments that I marked I wanted help with as well. I like how it's a very small and quiet office. Just her and her son Sean who does massage. He is amazing too- giving him 5 Yelp stars as well. Dr Jianna has a calming way about her that I found immensely comforting. I have had several sessions with her now. She also offers herbs if you are interested- but she isn't pushy. I was mostly doing acupuncture in China pre-COVID. Glad to have found a trusted practitioner here in Concord. I find the office to be very clean and soothing. Parking is in the back of the building. Never had a problem finding a spot. There is a security gate with a buzzer. Keeps the office nice and quiet during treatment- people aren't just wandering in. I have recommended several friends to Dr Jianna. Wow! After 2 visits I feel fantastic! I came to see Jianna for shoulder and neck pain and was a little hesitant about the outcome of the treatment but after the first visit I felt better, almost instantly. The acupuncture needles stay in for about 45 min and once removed, Jianna does acupressure on the injection sites. Overall, I found this to be a very relaxing experience. Jianna is a very sweet lady and seems so eager to assist in healing your ailment. I immediately felt comfortable in her care. In between acupuncture appointments I also had a massage by Sean at her office; another helpful and relaxing experience. This is long overdue. I've been seeing Jianna and her son since 2017. When I see her it's usually because I have tweaked my back due to me having three herniated discs. & Usually when I come in I am barely able to walk too due to all the pain. Jianna and her son are literal miracle workers. I usually only need 1-2 sessions and I am back on my feet. I get the acupuncture and then her son massages and stretch me for 30 mins. Each time after the acupuncture, massage and stretching I significantly improve movement and the pain has decreased. This time around when I threw my back out - last time was in 2019, I was scared because it was so bad. I could barely walk due to the pain. And unfortunately I had moved away from the area and went to see a local acupuncturist near me. Twice I saw this other one and nothing so I called Jianna. She made a appointment immediately for me and I made my husband drive me all the way to her office. So worth it because after the first visit I can tell the difference. Oh my goodness...best acupuncture treatment I ever had! I had extreme lower back and right hip pain for over a week so I finally caved in and called all around to find a acupuncturist to help me alleviate the pain. Jianna was the first to call me back and even worked hard to fit me in same day since the pain was so bad. She took her time and was gentle yet thorough in targeting the area and using multiple techniques (massage and heat lamp) to really get the chi flowing again in the blocked and painful part of my hip and back. By the end of the appointment she guided me through stretches with needles in to further get me healed and it worked!! I left there so relieved and able to walk and sleep again without pain. It felt like months of physical therapy condensed into one session. She also knew so much about my health by just looking at my tongue that was correct and gave me some herbal Medicine and its been helping me so much.
