Had great results with my compressed nerves on my lower back that resulted in having"drop foot." The doctor was able to bring sensation back to by foot and I already see improvement. I don't like needles, but I didn't feel a thing as the acupuncture needles were placed at the right nerves. I could not be more satisfied. Update: it's been a few weeks, my symptoms are still the same having a hard time walking. I ended up in ER with worsen symptoms. I wish I never went to this place. I think he hit a never because I never had this symptoms prior to going to him. He has a severely busy clinic he doesn't listen to his patients. I told him not to poke my lower back but he said it would help. I wish I didn't listen to him. A few hours after his treatment i had sever spasm I never had. Apology is not needed when u cause harm to ur patients. Pls listen to ur patient and do not book if you can not care for them safely. read more

I have been seeing Dr.Xue for 4 years for various issues. Plantar Fasciitis (after PT, cortisone and orthotics failed), recurring sinus infection/low immunity and menopause symptoms. In each case, I started with my PCP and ended with Dr. Xue because I wanted healing, not treatment of the symptoms. He has helped in all these areas, sometimes with herbs and sometimes acupuncture. He is gifted, humble, empathetic, always calls right back and the cost without insurance, for me, is less than my copays for Western medicine with Anthem. Dr. Xue is a God send. After reading some reviews about how Dr. Xue helped a person with neck issues I decided to go see him. His office in Walnut Creek, CA was walking distance from my apartment and it was a no brainer for me seek treatment from him after the positive reviews that I read. At my first appointment we discussed my reason for being there. I had an old neck injury caused by being pushed into the shallow end of a swimming pool. Then had whiplash from a rear end auto collision. My life consisted of going to a chiropractor every 6 weeks or so and definitely before traveling and returning from travel as my neck would get out of line, gave me a dull headache, make me nauseous and could lead to me vomiting. Gross, but want you to understand how desperate I was to find a treatment other than the dependency of the chiropractor. When Dr. Xue asked my how long ago the swimming pool incident happened and I responded 20 years ago, he exclaimed that it was a long time ago and he made no promises that he could resolve the issue. I understood but was very willing to receive treatment for however long was necessary as I felt that I had found a healer that could make me feel better. I was right. After 6 sessions, Dr Xue changed my life! His acupuncture treatments resolved the debilitating neck issues I had and has allowed me to lead a life without the constant fear of it "going out". I have had chronic sciatica for years and tried acupuncture unsuccessfully in the past. This year after fracturing my spine, my symptoms grew unbearable. Cortisone shots only helped for 2 months. I have had severe chest and back pain since March 4, 2022. I have been hospitalized for a possible heart attack; have had a full work-up with a cardiologist, a hematologist (looking for possible blood clots in my lungs), and a gastroenterologist. I don't have anything that was identifiable. However, a great internist finally diagnosed me with costochondritis. It causes severe pain in and around the rib cage with muscle spasms and contractions. Dr. Xue has given me complete relief from my pain in my upper sternum and has almost completely relieved the intense pain in my mid shoulder blade. All this in just 4 weeks. He is treating me with both acupuncture and herbs (TCM). I have had excellent acupuncture in the past, but I have to say he is one of the best I have ever seen. He is relentless in his efforts to relieve your problem. I am astounded at how well, efficient, as well as welcoming, his office staff is. I highly recommend this Doctor.
