Amazing first acupuncture session. From a very stressed day to walking out calm and falling asleep. Looking forward to more sessions.

    Acupuncture session to induce labor.

During my pregnancy journey, I was blessed with a support circle and amazing team at Ritual Acupuncture. Dr. Joel Moncada was with me every step of the way guiding a healthy flow of energy for me physically and mentally, and our growing baby! From preconception, through gestation, to labor inducing. He addressed all of my issues as they arose, from carpal tunnel, indigestion, hemorrhoids, various pains throughout my body, and most importantly supporting a healthy pregnancy. The team is all hands on and exudes good energy. From personal greetings when I arrive to the office, to text message reminders, bringing me tea to relax, and calmness during treatments, the team maintains caring professionalism. Pregnancy and child birth is a mix of the most joyful yet scariest experiences. I am thankful for our support team at Ritual Acupuncture who listened to our needs, took care of, and informed us well enough so we could make the best health-related decisions for my pregnant self and our baby. I highly recommend for anyone considering acupuncture for any needs.

Cupping Therapy with Mr. Benn Samonte.

I've been going here for multiple times now and having body work, cupping therapy done by Mr. Benedict Samonte. He is very enthusiastic and passionate when it comes to health and wellness to treat chronic pain. I strongly recommend anyone to schedule an appointment with him in cupping therapy or anything he has to offer. He is a strong avid supporter for all U.S. Military personnel that is currently serving in both active and reserve duty, those who served in the past especially military veterans, and all First Responders. He has a strong and devoted work ethic that encompasses passion and safety and well-being to myself and all his clients. If you are ever in the area in Vallejo or a visitor from out of town. He is the person to go to. Thank you again for your devoted work and for your service. Much respect to all of us that is serving for our country. God speed and keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next session. Thank you Ritual Acupuncture for the hospitality.

I have been seeing Dr. Aimee for about a year now and figured it was time for a review. Although we have not been successful yet, I have been to several other clinics prior to Dr. Aimee and truly feel that she has been the best by far and wanted to lay out a few reasons: (1) Dr. Aimee personally saw me for every single appointment so she was the one doing my ultrasound and bloodwork. She also always took extra time to have us speak to her in her office after every appointment to go over next steps. That is a level of care I haven't seen at other clinics, where it is sometimes rare to see your doctor more than a few times the entire cycle. (2) I have been going through IVF for 4 years, which means I have had many many ultrasounds done throughout that time. I had been diagnosed with DOR and "unexplained" infertility. Since Dr. Aimee personally attended to me at every appointment, she got to know my symptoms and body very well. She knew what was normal for me and what was not normal. After only 5 months with Dr. Aimee, she discovered silent endometriosis off a random comment I made about a sore back, despite no signs of endometriosis. She was then able to guide me towards a specialist, where I had laparoscopic surgery to discover Stage II endometriosis. I likely would've continued believing "unexplained" infertility was my diagnosis if she hadn't put in the effort to dig deeper. This is a huge benefit when you are actually seeing your provider every appointment. (3) Communication with Dr. Aimee is readily available and easy. This has been really helpful for me in those random moments where something stressful comes up or if something happens over the weekend, she is always responsive. I really appreciate the communication aspect because infertility is a huge and stressful battle and she truly makes sure that your doctor is not an additional source of stress. This is unlike other clinics I have been to, where communication and getting in touch with your doctor can be really difficult. She truly cares about each and every patient and wants you to succeed. (4) Dr. Aimee is a great doctor for people that feel like they've "tried everything else." She is willing to think outside the box to come up with different solutions to your problems. Additionally, she is constantly doing research and trying to find new ideas on how to find new avenues to success. There are so many other great things I want to say about Dr. Aimee, but it would make this review even longer! She is truly an incredible woman and doctor and I feel very grateful to have her as my doctor.

Something that we struggled with for a while due to age was infertility. We had actually seen several fertility specialists during this long journey, and have gone through 3 rounds of IVF (2 mini's and 1 conventional) as well as an IUI. Although they were all unfortunately unsuccessful, we discovered that not all fertility clinics and doctors are created equal. While we found that many doctors take a very traditional, rigid and cookie cutter approach to treatment. Focusing more on luck through repeated attempts, Dr. Aimee was much more focused and tailored in her regiment. We always felt informed during this process, and confident in Dr. Aimee's recommendations. And unlike other clinics, we were always able to get ahold of Dr. Aimee directly. Instead of communicating with a nurse who would then pass the message along to the doctor if they felt it needed escalation. Along these lines, we were always shocked at how quickly we were usually able to get a response from Dr. Aimee. Sometimes even late at night. We often joked that Dr. Aimee probably doesn't sleep. Our only complaints about going with Dr. Aimee revolved around a few issues: 1) The initial application process to get a consultation with Dr. Aimee was lengthy, difficult, and required a lot of chasing from my wife due to poor follow-up and communication from the office. The individual handling review and processing of new patient applications would often go awol for days on end after sending out limited communication. 2) Billing was oftentimes not very clear and created a need for us to meticulously examine our bills line by line to ensure accuracy. 3) Dr. Aimee does not accept any insurance so 100% of the costs will be out of pocket. In addition, her rates are substantially higher than other clinics. Although we were ultimately unsuccessful with IVF, we were eventually blessed with a miracle baby through natural birth. Despite this, we would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Aimee to anyone looking for fertility care.

We've spoken with multiple people who have used their services, and the feedback is truly mixed--some had good experiences, others barely satisfactory and some were REALLY BAD. Unfortunately, ours fell on the negative end. If you are a heterosexual couple, you may have a smoother experience. However, as a same-sex couple, we did not feel welcomed or supported. We've since connected with five other LGBTQ couples who shared very similar concerns, which says a lot about a pattern rather than a one-off experience. Our doctor, Dr. Nam Tran, came across as arrogant and condescending which has the same tones in some of the other reviews on this platform. At multiple points, we felt like we were wasting his time rather than being valued patients during what is already a very emotional and vulnerable process. He was late and then proceeded to say he has another appointment and we didn't get the full time. We constantly had to call the clinic because they don't call back after leaving a message from the previous week. We always were on time for our appointments and were always delayed to be taken in. While the clinic may now have an LGBTQ staff member, that alone does not make the environment inclusive or affirming. Our experience did not reflect meaningful change or genuine understanding. We ultimately decided to leave and seek care elsewhere, which was the best decision for us. For anyone considering this clinic, we strongly recommend doing thorough research. There are lawsuits filed in 2025 in California alleging negligence and embryo loss, with concerns raised about prioritizing profit over patient care. These are serious issues and worth looking into before making such an important decision. We would not recommend this clinic to LGBTQ couples seeking compassionate, respectful fertility care. I met with MULTIPLE REs and basically interviewed them to see why I should continue with fertility and why I should pick them. I was clear from the start that I wasn't sure if I wanted to harvest eggs and create embryos. I never had the NEED that some women have when it comes to being a mom and I didn't want to go through this process if my chances for success aren't likely. I said I would like my doctor to be very up front and tell me if it looks like it will happen or not. Dr Fischer met with us multiple times before hand and was very informative, he gave me options that others didn't but most importantly he listened to my concerns and was honest in his opinions. Although my surgeon was able to get all the cancer out we were still going to proceed with the protocol for cancer patients. Since I was still apprehensive about having kids at all, on the morning I was supposed to start injections I made my final decision to not pursue IVF. The process isn't easy and since I'm still recovering from surgery I didn't see the value in doing this for the potential for 0-1 embryo. It isn't important enough for me to do IVF and try for nothing. If I would end up with 2 or 3 embryos I would have done it but not for less. Again he was very supportive and said if I wanted to try later I can since I won't be doing chemo and in a year my fertility won't drastically change. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this team and if I decided to try I would use them.
