We gave them the code to our new house and they showed up everyday as scheduled. Randy's son Logan and son in law Chris work with him. We had so much fun getting to know them. We even all went out to lunch together and had a great time. They did an amazing job! We are so happy and our floors are gorgeous. After six months the oak planks began to separate in several areas. We scheduled an appointment twice for Randy to see the damage and he no-showed both times. Then he stopped returning my calls/texts. I don't yet know whether the problem is faulty workmanship, the wood planks themselves, or something site specific. Randy recommended these oak planks and regardless of the cause of the problem, he should stand behind his work. You should avoid this contractor.

M. Mason did an amazing job helping us repair some subflooring and walls. Mason was able to come out quickly to provide a quote that was very reasonable (in line with but lower than another quote we'd received). He also got us on the schedule quickly. He repaired the subfloor, sealed up a dog door that was contributing the damage, and even fixed a heat leak under the floor while he was down there. His work was efficient and looks great. The tilers were able to finish their job without any further work on the subfloor. (If they weren't already booked for the job, I would have had M. Mason finish it, since he offers that as well.) I will definitely be having him come out for more work in the near future.

Francine is one of the least helpful salespeople I've ever encountered. From the moment we entered…read morethe store, it was difficult to get her attention. Once we connected, we were upfront about our budget, but she repeatedly steered us toward higher priced options and was not transparent about individual product costs. She encouraged us to apply for store credit through Wells Fargo, and I was approved for significantly more than the cost of the flooring we were considering (probably a red flag warning that they will attempt to take you for more than you want to spend). Later that week, she came to our home for a site assessment. While friendly during the visit, she remained vague about installation costs. As she left, she promised to email a detailed quote within a day or two. After a full week with no word, I had to follow up. She responded several hours later with an estimate. The product pricing stayed within what we discussed, but the labor portion was estimated, but listed as "variable," with no fixed amount or not-to-exceed" number. Additionally, she couldn't even guarantee the final cost or confirm they could complete the job. As a contractor myself (in IT), I'm accustomed to providing customers with clear, capped pricing and a promise we will complete the work before they commit, especially on installation work. Its not as if I was hiding anything from her. She had full access to the home for her assessment. If she lacked expertise to properly evaluate the job, they should have sent a more qualified person. This lack of clarity made it impossible to move forward with confidence. After sending the quote, she never followed up and I haven't spoken to her since. Overall, Francine came across as inattentive, inexperienced and unreliable. We ended up purchasing our flooring elsewhere, and based on this experience, I would recommend doing the same.

Long story short we had to rip out the sub plate/sand down some sub flooring and seal the concrete slab to attack the urine. We had two companies come in and quote us 5200 and 6900 for the cutting/treatment and replacement of what they had to remove.
